"My, my calm down alright…?"

Garp squinted his eyes at him before exclaiming. "You… Damn kid, what are you even doing here…? 

"And what is that?" He clearly referred to this small form of his.

"Cough, well a lot happened recently…" Edam Laughed and added. "As for what I'm doing here, well the same things as you, I guess… I didn't expect to see you here, gramps…" 

Chibi Edam said as his body quickly glowed a bright light blinding everyone as he returned to his true form, stunning everyone present, pirates and marines.

They didn't expect a good-looking young man to suddenly appear from this small little guy from a second ago.

"Ehhhhhhhhh?! Edam-nii…!?" Luffy cried out with wide eyes.

"Heh, you grew up fine it seems, Luffy…" Edam said and smiled at him.

"It's been so long! Big bro!" Luffy laughed and pounced on him to hug him.

"Hehe, not a crybaby anymore huh…?" Edam patted his head with a happy expression.

"Heh! I might be more powerful than you now…!" Luffy exclaimed with a wide smile on his face.

"Pff, you're really daydreaming, it seems you got cocky while I was not watching you, you little brat…" Edam scolded and pinched Luffy's ear. His pinch was of course imbued with Haki, so rubber or not, Luffy felt it clearly.

"Ahhhh! It hurts it hurts, stop it! Aouch!" Adam let him go as Luffy rubbed his ear in pain while asking in pain and grievance. 

"Dammit, how can you hurt me even though I'm made of rubber!?" 

"This is a pinch of love!" Edam said with a laugh.

On the other hand, there was one girl present who couldn't help but exclaim in shock at his appearance.

"Ahh! I remember now! It- It's you!" Nami pointed with one finger at him and a shocked expression on her face.

"...?" Edam turned around and tilted his head slightly. "Hmm… oh, if I recall it well, you were that girl I saved right?"

"Yeah, from that weird sect…"

"Right, that weird sect…" Edam said with an ugly expression remembering that this weird sect was created because of him.

And he never really cared if they were still active after that, having better things to care about.

And despite all this shock, it was the black-haired beauty aka Nico Robin, who after a small silence finally parted her lips to speak. 

"You are… you are that Monkey King…isn't it?" Her pupils constricted at the mention of it.

"...?" Edam then turned toward her and spoke. 

"Hmm? Oh… well, well, aren't you that devil's child or something, the Marine didn't catch you yet, and you joined my little brother, nice…"

"Wait for a second, the Monkey King? What stupid name is that?" Francky, the blue-haired pervert said.

"It is said that when he was a marine, he defeated a very infamous pirate, Shiki the Golden Lion, the flying pirate… this earn him a lot of notoriety… people would sometimes call him the 'One who rules the Sky' because of this..."

"..." Edam raised his eyebrows in surprise, he himself didn't know that he got such a cool nickname. "Well, you know a lot huh…?"

"Oh, yeah I heard of him, afterward, for unknown reasons, he was suddenly labeled as a criminal with a high bounty of two billion berries…" Nami said while looking suspiciously at Edam.

"It is still unknown why such a bounty was applied for him… but some baseless and strange rumors say that he destroyed a part of the red line…"

"What? That's impossible right?" Sanji asked in pure disbelief.

"That's exactly because of this impossible feat that people started to doubt and labeled him as a fraud and overrated criminal…" Robin explained with a pondering expression and then added. 

"His bounty was already enough to make him the fifth Emperor of the seas, but… since he's not a pirate, he wasn't given this title…"

"Did you really destroy a part of the Red Line? It was a misunderstanding right?" Nami directly asked with a curious expression.

"…" Edam fell silent remembering the reason he did such a thing before replying with a disinterested expression, still pissed-off about that day's event. "...Who knows and why would you want to know such a thing?" 

"Uh, just wanna know…" Nami's woman instinct felt that something was pissing him off about this and didn't pursue the matter.

"Who cares about that anyway…" 

"We do…" They all said it at the same time, but Edam didn't say a single word about it.

They were gonna pester him, even more, when a commotion happened on the outside. Someone was trying to break through the small regiment of soldiers.

Garp's right hand then spoke to him, informing him of who was the guy in question. "This is the Pirate Hunter, Roronoa Zoro… a criminal with a bounty on his head..."

"Oh, Luffy's crewmate? Heh, you two, try to stop him…" Garp said with an interested smile ordering to the two behind him.

"Yes!" At his words, the two men who were asked to stay behind replied, and one of them, the blonde-haired one, took two blades and rushed at the fighting swordsman.

Luffy, who heard this, tried to intervene and shouted while running out. "Ah, no, Zoro it's fine, there's no need to fight, it's-..."

Bam!

As he tried to stop him though, Luffy was suddenly kicked on the chin by the other one, the pink-haired guy. Since he was still recovering and had left his guard down, Luffy was caught off guard and took this hit, spewing a bit of blood out.

"...?! You! Bastard!" Luffy lost his temper and punched him with his rubber-like physique.

However, the pink-haired guy muttered. "Soru!" And completely disappeared from Luffy's sight.

The latter was surprised to see this technique being used, seemingly having faced it recently.

Edam, who was observing it too, was a bit surprised by that. "Is that your new disciples? Wait, you have disciples now, gramps?"

In response, Garp scoffed. "Bah, since the two knew and wanted to meet Luffy, I taught them a bit…"

"Oh, well, they're not bad…" Edam continued to observe with his arms crossed over his chest.

The fight however rapidly ends up in Luffy and Zoro's victory. The two guys didn't force it either and gladly accepted their defeat.

It was revealed that the pink-haired guy was a friend of theirs, called Coby, who was once short and very weak while the other one was once an enemy, called Helmeppo, also weak in the past.

After this small fight, Luffy and Zoro came back with Coby and Helmeppo. 

Garp then faced his soldiers with a serious air while saying. "Well, then guys…"

"Yes sir!" They all salute while waiting for orders.

"You… go and repair this wall…" Garp said nonchalantly.

"Ehhhhhh…? But you're the one who broke it though…!" The soldiers protest against it.

"No, why did you break it then?!"

"Because it's cool…!" Garp replied with a casual smile.

"What?!"

"Alright then, but please help us too…"

"Eh?! Okay…" Garp easily agreed and joined them to repair this wall.

… 

"You have one hell of a family, Luffy, first the Marine Hero and now the infamous Monkey King…" Sanji said and looked at Garp and Edam.

"Hmm, I don't know, I've never known what their works were about…" Luffy said having no idea what to say.

And that was when Garp who was hammering and repairing the wall suddenly seemed to remember something. "Ah, right, Luffy, I heard that you met your old man at Log Town, right…?"

"Huh…? Dad? Who's my dad? Do I even have a dad?" Luffy himself was at a loss, never having met his father.

This drew everyone's attention extremely curious about this dad of his. As the saying goes, dogs don't birth cats, they truly want to know who Garp's son was and who Luffy's dad was.

Edam merely smiled, already aware of Luffy's father's identity. "Here we go again…"

And the revelation lived up to their expectations when Garp said with a smile. 

"Your dad is… Monkey D. Dragon, the revolutionary…"

At the mention of this name, the entire place fell silent in shock.

"..." Luffy's crewmates were speechless and shocked.

"..." The soldiers were gasping in shock. "Dragon?! The revolutionary?!" 

"...?" Luffy clearly didn't know a thing, completely clueless. "Wha- what? Why is everyone like this?"

"You idiot! You don't know the name of Dragon?!" Sanji exclaimed shocked at his ignorance.

"Your father is an outrageous person!" Nami too exclaimed.

Luffy then turned toward the only person who wasn't so shocked and relatively calmed apart from Edam, which was Nico Robin. 

She directly explained the reason for everyone's shock.

If pirates don't normally take the initiative to go against the government, there's one group of people called the revolutionary who especially want to take down the government. There are already countless countries that became independent thanks to their help and joined their cause.

The shock then slowly settles down.

He didn't speak too much since Hancock was already spamming him with telepathic messages.

'Hey let me come with you… I'm bored…' She said in a pitiful voice.

'There are two suspicious guys I suspect of being perverts here…' Edam said referring to Sanji and Franky.

'And? This never bothered or prevent you from beating up people if I recall well…' Hancock was so used to Edam beating the shit out of punks who happened to look at her too wantonly that she just couldn't see the problem anymore.

'Well, they are my brother's crewmates, love, I can't just pluck their eyes out right?' Edam calmly gave a rather terrific answer.

'Hmm… okay then, I won't insist then…' She gave up very easily.

Edam smiled at that and said. 'Hey, you know what? After that, let's go on vacation, just the two of us, away from everything for a few months till the baby is born, okay? You choose the destination…'

'Really?' Hancock asked with a stunned expression. It has been a while since she wants to go on vacation, but he was the one who refuse and told her to stay on Amazon Lily.

'Of course, do you think I would lie to you…?'

'Hmmm….' Hancock thought about where to go before saying. 'I will think about it, just come back quick…'

'Yes, your Highness…' Edam said jokingly earning him a soft *hmph* from her

"Anyway, I didn't come here to capture you, in the end, you are still my grandson…" Garp then revealed that he only came here to fulfill Coby and Helmeppo's wish to meet up with Luffy.

"I didn't expect to meet your brother though…" Garp had planned to just say a small greeting and go back to his ship but with Edam being here today, he couldn't help but want to ask him a few things.

They went in outside in a corner to speak freely.

"So, brat, what are you up to…?" Garp said noticing strange behavior from Edam.

"Oh… umm, well, to tell you the truth, this is not my true body…" Edam directly revealed his current condition.

"Hmm? And? I already know that…" Garp said, having already guess this much, and wasn't so shocked since he saw the boy doing things similar in the past.

"Hmm, this is actually complicated, what I mean is, my true body is not here anymore, it is out of this planet…"

"...huh…?" This took a moment for Garp to process his sentence. "What the heck are you doing out there…?"

"Cough, well… heh, you will laugh but, cough…" Edam coughed out embarrassingly and added. "Hancock is pregnant…"

"...Pffffff….!" Garp spilled out some air out of shock. "WHAT…!?"

"Shocking right? Heh…" Edam said with a smile. "Actually, It's been a few months already…"

"What?! Y- you, you unfilial grandson…!" Garp yelled his lungs out and punched Edam's head. 

"Aouch… why did you hit me?!" Edam asked with fake grief even though it wasn't as painful as before.

"How could you not inform your grandpa about something like that!? You unfilial and unfaithful brat?!" Garp tried to punch him again but Edam instantly teleported himself a few meters away.

"Are you crazy!?"

"You dare to dodge!?" Garp yelled and jumped to hit him again.

"Hey stop that! It's not my true body! I can't waste my energy like that!" Edam once again dodged.

"So, I'm a waste of your energy!? Damn you…!!!"

"What?! That's not even what I meant by that!" Edam exclaimed and racked his brain to think of something.

"Ah, stop that, I'm serious, I can't afford to lose more energy, gramps!" Edam said seriously.

Garp finally stopped his assault. "Why? What is bothering you?"

"..." Edam took a deep breath before explaining with a grim expression their situation. 

It was a bit complicated, so it took him some time to carefully explain the gist of his problem.

"...I see…" Garp said and then sighed. "You have to save them, brat, both of them. As a man, you've got to take care of them, that's the least…"

"Heh, no need to tell me that, I will fight the whole world if I have to…" Edam said very seriously before closing his eyes. 

When he opened them again, he realized that he was actually spied on as he clicked his tongue while glaring forward and uttered a name in irritation. 

"Tsk… Nico Robin… Spying on people is a bad habit though In your case, the Walls do have ears, but they better have a good memory too..." 

"...If you don't want to die too soon, you better keep what you just heard for yourself… or else, even my brother's plea for you won't save you from me…"

Edam didn't say anything else and kept quiet but his silence was the most terrifying thing for the young lady who was still in the house.

Her pupils were deeply constricted and cold sweats couldn't help but drip while shivers ran down throughout her spine.

It was just an impression, but she unconsciously imagined a humongous monster in front of her, about to eat her up… 

"Was that clear…?" His question directly sounded in her head as she nodded with a pale and frightened face. "Y- yes…im sorry..."

She didn't know how he could speak in her mind and didn't want to know, in her mind, she had already titled him as a monster and a demon to never provoke or carelessly interact with again.

"Good…as long as you understand… my wife's safety is all that matters to me…" Edam said faintly. 

Since the reason for his creation was primarily for Hancock's safety, the decision he would take could be extremely radical if needed to be.

In the end, wasn't it her fault for prying on their conversation? How rude...

Anyway, after this small discussion, Luffy and the straw hats decided to throw a BBQ party cooked by Sanji, and his food was very delicious.

Edam came to know every straw hat of which he already knew Nami and Zoro.

He didn't get to speak with Robin since the latter was busy speaking to a wall. He later discovered that she was speaking with someone on the other side, though he didn't pry further, he still surprisingly found out that it was Aokiji who was there.

Luffy's crew was kinda peculiar unlike the basic crew of a pirate crew since he only had a few members in.

However, Edam didn't want to stay for too long and wanted to go back home. At the end of the party, when everyone was nearly too exhausted to sing and laugh, he beckoned to Luffy with a slight wave of his hand to join him outside.

"...?" Luffy was curious and followed him. "What is it?"

Edam smiled and said. "Do you recall when we were younger, we would always fight to see who was the best right?"

"Hmm!" Luffy nodded vigorously, his memory still very fresh.

"It was not just to prove who was the best, but also to train ourselves and check up on our progress… do you get what I mean?"

"Yea!" 

"Good…" A faint smile came across Edam's face. "Your wounds should have healed a bit by now, so, show me what you got…"

"Hehe, alright, but I'm warning you, I have become really strong since last time…!" Luffy exclaimed and squatted down while placing his right fist down.

And then his rubber-like body began to pump his blood, increasing his blood flow by a great amount, so much that vapors started to come out of his body.

[Gear Second!]

"Heh, not shabby at all…" Edam smiled at that, feeling very impressed with this technique of his.
