Chapter 4

Every body's mouth drops open and everybody is silent and then behind Delilah, everybody is staring and then Laban is the first to speak and he says damn I'm not gay but he is hot Charlotte starts laughing. I turn around and I see the cutest boy I have ever seen in my life and he is looking right at me I turn around and stare back at him and then say 'is there something that you need from me' he smirks and then walks forward and I take a step back all the boys and Charlotte have already disappeared out of the room and are now somewhere back in the gym the guy stops smirking and then starts laughing it's deep but also beautiful 'I absolutely love your laugh it's beautiful' he stops laughing and looks at me smiling I am staring up at him like I am a pup waiting to be given a treat. Then he steps forward and I stay put we are still like 4 feet away from each other but then he takes another step forward but before I can walk backward he grabs my waist pulling me to him we are inches apart I'm breathing deep but not heavily surprisingly I don't know why but I feel comfortable with him. I ask softly do I know you at all, have we me-' then I smell the scent of honey and almonds I almost fall asleep but then I remember the only person I know who smells like honey and almonds and that is my best friend Lathan Parlor. I look up at him at can see his eyes they are the exact same as before except they are a little different in color the shade at least they are still bright blue. He looks down at me and smiles and says 'long time no see Delilah' and then he leans down and kisses me and then I kiss him back and jump into his arms hugging him as hard as I can and then I start crying and say 'I've missed you so much where were you' I pull back and I'm still crying he looks into my eyes and then I see that he is also about to cry and then he leans down and kisses my eyelashes and I lean up against his warm and strong chest. 'You got so tall compared to me how tall are you? You look like your at least 6'2' 'correct and you are what 5'6' he tried to contain his laughter but he doesn't and starts laughing at me I pout and then he comes over to me and picks me up like I'm a baby and just keeps looking at me and I'm looking back at him and then I can't help it I kiss him hard he kisses me back he bites my bottom lip playfully so he can enter I let him he explores every inch of my mouth with his tongue. I pull back and ask him 'can we really be more than friends Lathan I love you in both ways but if we break up I don't want to lose our friendship because it means so much to me.' Then he says 'who said we are going to break up I love you to the ends of The earth and will never break your heart' he then breaks out into a song 'so please don't break my heart don't tear me apart I know how all it starts cause trust me I've been broken before' 'are you sure Lathan I would love to be with you I have wanted to be with you since I first met you can we really be together I promise I won't break your heart but do you really want to be with me' he answered me by picking me up off my feet and swinging me around and then sets me down but doesn't let me go and kisses me even deeper than the last one I kiss him back and we just keep standing there I'm in tears he is smiling at me and holding me. I am crying into his chest and then because of the smell of honey and almonds I fall into a deep slumber in his arms by baby's arms and dream. I wake up on a bed I'm lot familiar with and I have a heavy object around my waist and I'm laying against something hard I look down to see a forearm the forearm that I would wish to hold me when I was younger and sad and needed comfort I look back and see Lathan asleep I then lay back down and fall back asleep in his arms with my face on his chest hugging him around the waist while he is hugging my slim waist. Before I fall asleep I kiss him gently on the lips to not wake him and then I fall into a deep sleep.
