Zann cried for a while, Aranea, giving him the company and comfort that he needed. Both of them sat on the floor in an Indian seat, Zann, wiping his tears away with the back of his palm.
"I'm sorry… I didn't mean to cry in front of you that way," he mumbled his apology, Aranea, shaking her head for Zann not to feel bad.
"It's alright. You don't have to feel so bad about it. You have to let these feelings out since you know, you can tell me and your fellow familiars about it," she said, Zann, slowly nodding as he looked at Aranea.
"Now that my mom is gone, what am I supposed to do?"
Aranea didn't speak for a while. Instead, she held his hand and smiled, doing her best to comfort him in the best way she could as she remembered the favor that his mother asked from her.
