58. Maybe I Should Master In Monster Studies!

Sparks filled the sky above the forest as bladed feathers collided and fell to the ground. Birds froze in the sky, or got tangled up in webbing and fell. They continued their assault of feathers and wind scars, but their movements were becoming too slow.

Vixen watched as the events unfolded. She was surprised that Lance could take on such creatures with ease. He was becoming a monster himself in her eyes.

Lance rode his winged companion in to take on the big lead bird. Throwing Icicles as they closed in, along with bladed feathers. As the distance closed and they were right on top of the big beastie, Lance leaped from his bird and landed on the back of the lead. Stabbing both swords into its back, they both fell from the sky. As they fell, Lance channeled all his spells through his swords, and explosions of ice and fire resounded deep inside the belly of the beast.
