A young man was living with his parents at the edge of a forest. Their life was quiet and peaceful. But one day, catastrophe struck them. 
A vessel of unknown origins descended on the small family. What happened next, no one knew. 
The boy awoke in a mysterious land, with high tech and mystical stuff all around him. He was no longer on earth. 
However, he is accompanied by a strange new system that makes him stronger, and some ghost or something that can change shape. He is the only one who can see this being at first. 
Now he has to embark on a journey to find his parents, and to figure out the limit of this new system.

The Game of the Worlds

Lance took a deep breath as he leaned against the wall. He figured the evolution potion would cause him great pain, much like the gene serums. After preparing himself, he popped the lid open and drank the contents of the vial. He closed his eyes and laid his head against the wall. 


Seconds passed and turned into minutes. But nothing happened, no pain, no notification, nothing. Lance opened his eyes and looked at Vixen, "Do you think it was a dud?" Lance was surprised nothing happened, he figured at least the system would notify him of some change. 


"Check your status maybe?" Vixen was even confused. She was happy he wasn't in pain, but it seemed strange that nothing happened at all. 


Lance took her suggestion and opened his status window. And that's when he saw it.
