The cave was more of a burrow than a cave, the entrance was in the middle of a forest inside a mound that stood roughly ten feet high and twenty feet around. The entrance went down as a steady slope into pitch darkness. The walls looked to be made out of clay that was shaped with rough or primitive tools. Echoing footsteps could be heard within, but upon a quick inspection, water droplets could be seen falling from the ceiling.

The party advanced slowly, marking the walls and floor to more easily find their way out in case of an emergency. All three members had their phones out and were mapping the interior as they progressed.

The initial path was straight forward and the party hadn't come by any monsters along the way. For Vixen and Sharna, this was okay, but Lance and Elandra grew a little weary. They should've come across a den by now. And as if fate were saying they were right, the first spilt in the path appeared.
