50,000 years ago, Hell was destroyed because of too much Foul from the resentment of the souls that later turned to Soul Eaters and devoured everything in their wake, leaving nothing of Hell. The gods above in Heaven, in order to take care of the newly-died souls, created the Afterlife Department comprised of grim reapers. 

Huo Ling was delivering food that day when he met Yi Bing and the guy gave him a warning. When he arrived to the customer's unit, he was killed.  
Huo Ling: you set up a death flag for me!
Yi Bing: I'm a grim reaper. I'm the flag myself. Let me help you solve the mystery of your death.

"WHAT?!" Jiang Xinduo and Ke Congyi exclaimed as they rose to their seats that overturned.

"Lin Lan… Lin Lan looks like Li Fengxin now?!" Jiang Xinduo asked as his eyes became two big circles like an owl's. "What does this mean?!" he asked and frowned.

Ke Congyi is extremely puzzled. "Lin Lan… Li Fengxin…" he muttered. Suddenly, it was as if something clicked in his mind which made his heart skip a beat. Then, he heard Gu Xingfeng spoke, which confirmed his guess.

"This means that Lin Lan and Li Fengxin are related." Gu Xingfeng said.

Jiang Xinduo turned to him. "They… they are actually sisters?!" he exclaimed in surprise.

Gu Xingfeng looked at him as if he is looking at an idiot. "Did you already forget Li Fengxin's case?" he asked him.

Jiang Xinduo froze. Then, his jaw dropped in shock. "You mean…?!" he muttered under his breath as he took a sharp breath.
