50,000 years ago, Hell was destroyed because of too much Foul from the resentment of the souls that later turned to Soul Eaters and devoured everything in their wake, leaving nothing of Hell. The gods above in Heaven, in order to take care of the newly-died souls, created the Afterlife Department comprised of grim reapers. 

Huo Ling was delivering food that day when he met Yi Bing and the guy gave him a warning. When he arrived to the customer's unit, he was killed.

Jiang Ce's expression changed and he stared at Harry Walter. "You noticed, too?" he asked in surprise.

Harry Walter nodded with a serious expression. "Everything is weird." He frowned.

Jiang Ce fell silent. "… could it be related to that figure outside the glass wall earlier?" he asked.

Harry Walter's face darkened because Jiang Ce really noticed that extra figure. He wanted to refute it, but he doesn't want to lie to Jiang Ce.

"You know…" Jiang Ce muttered when Harry Walter didn't answer. "I have been feeling strange lately." He said.

"What is it?" Harry Walter immediately asked as his heart skipped a beat.

"Like, I have been too sensitive towards some things…" Jiang Ce answered as his brows knitted. "Do you believe…" he looked at Harry Walter in the eyes. "… in the supernatural?" he asked.
