Wang Fu sat in the giant tank. The tank was quickly filled by a thick liquid that reached passed his head. Wang Fu quickly held his breath. Seeing this the old man said "The liquid that's filling your tank is a nutritional supplement. It's completely breathable."

Hearing this Wang Fu didn't sweat it to much and started breathing it. When he took his first breath. Wang Fu felt the nutritional supplement pass threw his lungs. The supplement quickly turned from a cold gooey substance, to an almost burning energy that pass threw his whole body.

Wang Fu being a cultivator this was a blessing. He took in as much of the supplement as he could. Taking breath after breath quickly. The old researchers Seeing that Wang Fu adapted to the supplement quickly, he gave the researcher operating the tank a thumbs up and said "Initiate the injection of the gene serum."

The researcher then clicked a few buttons and pulled a lever. Wang Fu who was in the tank saw small opening form in the tank and hundreds of small needles pop out. The needles slowly moved towards Wang Fu and entered his skin.

Wang Fu then felt a burning almost itchy feeling all over his body. The thin and hot liquid seeped into his body. Like an everlasting itchiness he felt irritated all over.

Wang Fu felt the gene filling his body. Quickly combining with his blood. Unbeknownst to him, normally when you take in a gene it overrides a part of your DNA. Wang Fu having a strong body and cultivation. Also because Wang Fu specializes in combining of energy and blood manipulation; his blood automatically took over the serum and caused a mutation.

The old researcher watching on the screen was at first disappointed. He knew what gene Wang Fu picked from the beginning because it was him who collected all six of the gene serums. It was to bad someone as high ranking as the scion of light would only get a lively bamboo serum as his fist gene compound. Shaking his head he let it be.

Wang Fu fought the painful feeling and tried to wait it out but the waves of pain felt hotter and hotter. I'm a moment of desperation he activated his blood Qi to help him alleviate some of the pain.

The blood Qi covered the serum. Wang Fu felt a bit of relief. So he added more and more. Then he noticed something weird. Whenever the blood Qi hit the serum his Qi would disappear as if his Qi was never there in the first place.

To test this Wang Fu gathered a glob of blood Qi and shit it at the serum. Watching closely he saw the serum surrounds us Qi and fuse with it. Not panicking he decided to refine the serum like he would a treasure.

Wang Fu gathered his blood Qi and formed them into small little spikes. Then he said an incantation in demonic tongue. His Qi glowing with a deep red light surrounded the Serum. Then wang Fu noticed behind the green glow of the serum was the outline of a long bamboo pole. Being a swordsmen Wang Fu has seen bamboo multiple times. Even his first training sword was a bamboo sword.

Wang Fu decided he would refine the bamboo serum into a sword. He then said "It shouldn't be to hard for me to do this with my current cultivation." He grabbed with is hand and the serum was squeezed into one part of his body. Forming only a long green bamboo pole. His Qi then slowly filled the bamboo.

Boom!

Inside Wang Fu's body was a deafening explosion. The bamboo now looked totally different. It gave off a demonic light. The body of the bamboo is now pure red like Wang Fu's Qi. The most drastic change is that The long bamboo pole is now a sharp striking sword. Floating inside wang Fu's blood. He felt a connection so deep with it that even his soul bound treasure is not as close as this bamboo sword.

Wang Fu felt the hot nutritional substance quickly flowing out of the tank. He stood up and walked out confidently. Being happy with what he gained Wang Fu decided he owed this old researcher a favor on the future. He then grabbed his clothes and got dressed.

The old researcher came up to Wang Fu and said "It's a shame but next time I'll make sure to find you a better gene serum. Hearing this Wang Fu looked at the researcher in confusion. Waving is a dm the blood red bamboo sword appeared in his hand. The researcher with a shocked look on his face asked "That can't be the lively bamboo gene could it?"

Wang Fu nodded his head. He waved his arm and stepped to the side. The sword gave off a terrifying wave of blood red sword Qi. The researcher in the room ducked for cover but nothing happened. Wang Fu could control everything that had to do with this sword it was scary. He retracted the sword Qi in the air and with a wave of his hand the sword disappeared.

After taking some of Wang Fu's blood the old researcher sent off Wang Fu for the second test. Walking past the the elevator he used to enter here wang Fu reached a room with a vertical sliding door. One of the researchers opened the door and let Wang Fu in. After entering he looked around and nothing could be found. It was a bright white sealed room.

The over the intercoms the old researcher said" her ready because we know your body is strong we will start with ten times the normal gravity of earth. If you can reach one hundred times the gravity of earth; you will get a certification in gravity tolerance. You can use this to go too the home planet of the federation. Only seventy people on earth in the last two thousand years could walk away unscathed from gravity that terrifying. Be ready and good luck!"
