No Escape? (The Dungeon: part five)

I was tired and honestly I couldn't see any reason to rush through the dungeon as it was open for thirty days, also because, I had gotten quite a few items and summons by now and forging new equipments took some time so maybe it'll be better if I come back once I've forged some more equipments and so I replied,
"Yes."

REQUIREMENT NOT MET!
DUNGEON IS LOCKED.
PLEASE PROCEED TO THE NEXT LEVEL.

"What do you mean REQUIREMENT NOT MET!?" I shouted. "I JUST KILLED THE FLOOR BOSS!"

THE RULES OF THE DUNGEON HAVE BEEN REVISED.
• NOW YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE DUNGEON UNTIL YOU HAVE CLEARED ALL THE FLOORS.
•THE CHECKPOINTS ARE NOW TO BE CONSIDERED AS 'SAFE HAVEN', YOU'LL BE ALLOWED TO REST ONLY ON THESE LEVELS.
• MONSTERS IN ALL LEVELS CAN RESPAWN NOW (EXCLUDING THE MONSTERS IN SAFE HAVEN). THUS IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU LEAVE FOR THE NEXT LEVELS AS SOON AS YOU CLEAR THEM.
• THE NUMBER OF MONSTERS THAT YOU'LL GAIN AFTER KILLING IS ALSO REDUCED TO 50%. BUT THE ITEM DROP WILL REMAIN UNCHANGED.
• IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU SHOULD PREPARE YOURSELF BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE 'SAFE HAVEN'.

"I DIDN'T AGREE TO THESE RULES! WHO THE HELL CHANGED THE RULES?"
No response.
"You know what? Hell with this dungeon I'm going back, I'll destroy this place if I have to. I'VE HAD ENOUGH." I turned around to leave through the stairs but, it was gone. There was nothing!
"HADES! GOLIATH!" I summoned them out. "DESTROY THE ROOF! THE WALLS! EVERYTHING!"
They were confused but obeyed the orders, Hades brought his axe out and started swinging it at the walls while Goliath was busy punching the walls. But it was all in vain, as they weren't even able to put a dent on the walls or the ceiling.
"Nicholas, who has the authority to change the rules of the dungeon?" I asked after calming down a bit.

THE DUNGEON MASTER HAS THE AUTHORITY TO DO SO.

"And who is The Dungeon Master?"

THE INFORMATION IS RESTRICTED.
********************
"For God's sake!" I rolled my eyes. "Can't you give me a straight answer for once!"
No response.
"You want me to clear this dungeon right? I'LL DO IT!" I shouted and stormed into the next floor.
* FEW MINUTES LATER *
"Show yourselves cowards!" I yelled even before I got off the stairs, the creatures residing in this floor, however were far from cowards because they were hailed as fearsome warriors, and were called 'Minotaurs'.
As soon as they saw me, these red skinned half human half bullish, creatures charged at me, I was glad that I had already summoned Hades and Goliath because they helped me to back away in time otherwise the Minotaurs would have definitely crushed me then and there. While Hades and Goliath were busy fending the Minotaurs off, I saw another Minotaur standing way back and instructing the other Minotaurs. This Minotaur was different than the others, for starters he had jet black skin, was wearing a crown and a robe made of werewolf fur. 'Floor boss' was written all over this Minotaur, but there were around 300 to 400 minotaurs protecting him. I had to deal with them first.
I summoned out all of the ogres, hobgoblins, werewolves and the chimeras. I wanted this to be over as soon as possible. But these minotaurs were well trained, as soon as the was an opening for me to strike down the Black Minotaur, some other minotaur would jump in to protect their leader. The others were having a hard time as well, they weren't able to kill many minotaurs because of their hard skin. Hades and Goliath however were able to deal significant damage to the minotaurs but it was only a matter of time before the minotaurs would overwhelm them with their numbers. Then it hit me, the minotaurs were not wearing any armour. I smirked and recalled every summon back to me. As long as they weren't wearing any armour, killing them would be a piece of cake with 'that' spell.

USER SKILL : NIGHTMARE BREATH HAS BEEN ACTIVATED.

Soon the floor was filled with fog, and the minotaurs started howling in pain. Their screams somehow soothed my anger. The fog faded away and to my surprise around ten minotaurs were still standing on their feet, protecting their lord who was unscathed from the fog. I grabbed Vruukor's sword from the inventory and prepared to kill the minotaurs. Two minotaurs charged, pointing their horns at me.

SWORD SKILL : BLOODLUST HAS BEEN ACTIVATED.
USER SKILL : HASTE HAS BEEN ACTIVATED.

With the help of haste spell, I quickly stepped between the two minotaurs and slashed them in the abdomen. Even though the fog wasn't able to kill them, their skin wasn't hard like before, thus making it possible for me to kill them. After seeing the minotaurs die, The Black Minotaur snapped and roared loudly. But it wasn't an ordinary war cry because the remaining 8 minotaurs surrounding him started to grow, their eyes burning red as if they were given some sort of drug. This time not one or two, but all of the minotaurs charged at me. I gripped my sword tighter.

I kept slashing and stabbing all of them but they didn't flinch, as if they couldn't feel any pain, the only way to stop them was to sever their heads off. It wasn't an easy task to accomplish but somehow I managed to kill five out of the eight minotaurs. Now only four remained, including the Black Minotaur. Then suddenly a message popped up.

I looked up to see that the Black Minotaur had killed the remaining minotaurs and was busy devouring them.
"You sick bastard! They were trying to protect you and this is how you thank them?"
"Being killed by a lowly human like you would've been much more disgraceful than being devoured by me." The black Minotaur replied and started to grow bigger and bigger. Even bigger than Goliath.
I charged at him with my full speed, with Vruukor's sword in my demonized hand, but right before I was about to stab the Minotaur in his chest, he effortlessly flicked the sword off my hand. He then grabbed me by the throat and raised me to his eye level. I quickly summoned Goliath so that he could free me from the minotaur's grip but before Goliath could do anything the Minotaur kicked him down, and was now standing over him.
I couldn't risk getting my summons getting destroyed, specially not now when the checkpoints were useless and so I called Goliath back. Seeing this the Minotaur smirked.
"Wise decision. Maybe I should eat you too. Who knows what kind of powers would you have." He said licking his lips.
Even the Blades of Calamity proved to be useless against his skin, and his grip got tighter on my throat. I looked at my demonized hand, maybe this could work. I thought and started scratching the minotaur's hand with the help of the claws protruding from my arm and it worked. I was able to cut the minotaur's hand at several places, blood spurting from those wounds. The minotaur's hand finally gave out and I was released from his grip.

As soon as I got back on my feet, I started slashing his legs as fast as I could, and soon the Minotaur was on his knees.
"You're no human..." The minotaur murmured.
"You're right, I'm not a human." I replied, forming a fist with my demonized arm.
"Then I can die with dignity." He smiled and closed his eyes. I punched a hole inside his chest and ripped his heart out.
