I already had an item to temporarily convert one of my griffins into Fono, so using up a summoner ring to convert him would be a waste. However Rafaela is a different case altogether.

Hades and Goliath were attacking the minotaurs, along with their units. Bruno was busy dealing the chimeras and griffins. Arabella and her unit had their hands filled while attacking the enemies. I looked up at the sky, Laksah was happily soaring above everyone else attacking the enemies every now and then. I looked around a bit more but Xephirous was nowhere to be found, did he ran away?
"Nicholas could you tell me where Xephirous is hiding?" I asked.

Just where the hell he ran off to? I should have just dealt with him first. No point reminiscing about it anymore, I've got to finish this fight first. I scanned the battlefield to look for another opponent, just then I saw a gigantic snake with metallic black scales covering the entirety of its body expect his head. As I was about to glance over to its head a system warning appeared.

EVEN BEHEADING HIM WOULDN'T HAVE ANY EFFECT ON HIM.

"Where the hell would I now find a mirror-like substance inside a frigging dungeon! And even if I do then how will I close in on him?"
All of my questions were soon answered when I saw a couple of nightscreamers crawling their way towards Iobra, and to my surprise, the Basilisk's stare didn't do anything to them. I then realised that the nightscreamers didn't had eyes and were totally dependent on their antennae to move around. Not only that, their scales were shiny and reflective. I summoned all of the warpfaces and instructed them to teleport all of them over the basilisk god. I then flew up and over the basilisk, using my wings, and grabbed couple of the remaining nightscreamer scales from my inventory and then proceed to throw them at his head, as he got swarmed by more than 200 nightscreamers. The scales I threw at him were meant to act as a distraction so that he will look down at falling scales and hopefully he'll use his stare at one of the nightscreamers, which were crawling at below. And bingo! A message appeared in front of my eyes.
