Slaying the Beast

-_-_-_-_Fleur's Perspective-_-_-_-_

"Venice, we need to catch up with them!" I said while galloping from left to right, trying to evade the bombarding pincer strike of the scorpion. It was a blessing that we were able to dodge whatever the beast had thrown at us, even the thorns made of sand created by the sandstorm twirling in front.

Two arachnids were chasing right after our tail, and both of them were at the same size and characteristics. Each of these monsters parted their ways and decided to pursue a group to their liking. The Harvestman, which was presently hunting Venice and I, decided to burrow into the ground and hid in our view.

We have no means upon checking the location of the monster underneath our feet. Although our senses of our body were limited and impaired to this environment, we can still feel the vibration coming from the movements of the scorpion digging deeper toward our direction.
