An Anomaly

The boy with no armor kept his right hand placed over his right eye and thought as he looked up at Set. "An Anomaly? Is he talking about me?"

The boy with no armor suddenly turned his head as he looked up at the boy who was flying through the air and thought with concern. "Is he going to be alright? I was just trying to get him off of me..."

The boy who was flying through the air flew several feet above the highest part of the stadium and then began to descend toward the ground.

The boy with no armor watched as the other boy fell toward the ground. He looked over at the boy with dark silver hair.

Both the boy with dark silver hair and the boy with spear were staring up at the boy falling toward the ground with both shock and surprise.

The boy with no armor then looked at the boy with silver armor.

The boy with silver armor had a look of satisfaction on his face as he watched the boy fall toward the ground.

The boy with no armor looked back and forth between the boy with dark silver hair and the boy with the silver armor. He glanced up at the falling boy multiple times as he thought with concern. "Are they... not going to... help him...?" He looked at the rest of the people in the sand pit as he thought. "Is anyone... going to... help him?"

The boy, with the dirty blonde hair, who stood next to the boy with silver armor had a look of both shock and amazement as he watched the falling boy descend toward the ground. The blonde girl, who stood next to the blonde boy, had a horrified expression on her face as she watched.

The long, light silver haired girl, which had a sword strapped to her back that leaned to her right side, had a confused look on her face as she stared up at the falling boy. The short, light silver haired girl which had a battle axe strapped to her back that leaned to her left side, grinned as she stared up.

The girl with the long black hair was not looking up at the falling boy. She was instead staring at the boy with no armor with fascination.

The boy with no armor immediately turned his head when he realized the girl with long black hair was staring at him. He looked at the last person in the sand pit.

The last person was the boy with light blue hair that had a sword strapped to his back that leaned to his left. He looked up at the falling boy with a somber expression.

The boy with no armor thought as he looked at the people in the sand pit. "Looks like none of them are going to help..." He looked up at the falling boy who was getting closer and closer toward the ground. He placed his right leg forward and began to dash toward the area the other boy was falling toward.

The boy with no armor ran underneath the shadow of the falling boy. The shadow continued to widen as the falling boy got closer and closer toward the ground. He looked up at the falling boy.

Footsteps could be heard behind the boy with no armor.

The boy with no armor tossed the throwing knife to the side. He removed his right hand from his right eye. Pain shot through his eye as a result. Large amounts of blood began to fall onto the ground. He reached out both of his hands to catch the boy falling from the sky. But, right as he was about to catch the falling boy he was suddenly pushed out of the way.

The boy with no armor had a surprised expression on his face as he looked at his empty hands and thought. "I... didn't catch him...?" Pain shot through his right eye again. He immediately covered his right eye with his right hand as he turned to look behind him.

The fallen boy with light blue hair laid in the arms of another boy with light blue hair. He laid in the arms of the boy with light blue hair that had a sword strapped to his back. The boy with the sword had both of his knees planted into the ground as he held the other boy in his arms.

The boy with the sword looked at the boy in his arms somberly and said. "Forgive me. This is all my fault... I should have stopped you again. I thought you would be safe with Brother..." He pulled the boy in his arms closer to his chest as he looked down at the boy's lifeless body.

The boy with no armor had a shocked and frightened expression on his face as he stared at the caved in face of the lifeless light blue haired boy and thought. "Did I do that...? But all I did was head butt him though, right?" He then spoke to the boy with the sword and said with worry. "Is he... going to be alright...?"

The boy with the sword said as he looked down at the lifeless boy. "No." He remained silent for several seconds as he continued to stare at the lifeless boy. He then said somberly. "He's dead..."

The boy with no armor thought as he stared at the lifeless boy in the other boy's arms. "He's dead?! But how?! All I did was head butt him?! Can people really die so easily...?" He began to shake his side to side as he thought. "Wait... what am I thinking?! Why am I thinking it is easy to kill people?!"

Hypatos quickly rose up from his seat. He grabbed the double tipped spear with his left hand and ripped it out of the ground. He yelled out. "A filthy right hander like him killed a son of mine?!" He pulled his left arm back as he aimed his double tipped spear at the chest of the boy with no armor. He yelled out angrily. "I'll end him!"

Alekto looked over at Hypatos and giggled as she said. "Oh my! This is an interesting turn of events."

The boy with no armor looked at Hypatos and thought. "He wants to end me? Does that mean I'm easy to kill? Do people only kill other people when it is easy?"

Menelaos said with irritation. "Sit down you fool. You're an embarrassment." He muttered to himself. "It is not like that would even be effective anyways..."

Hypatos looked at Menelaos and said angrily. "What was that, Mene! Do you honestly think I'd lose to a right-hander you bastard?!"

The boy with no armor continued to stare at Hypatos as he thought. "So, does that mean... that only the weak die? Does that mean that this man, those Guardians, and that dragon all thought that I'm weak... so they tried to kill me?"

Menelaos said with irritation. "It's Menelaos!"

Xasius's voice echoed across the stadium as he said. "Silence!"

The boy with no armor's thoughts were suddenly interrupted by Xasius's booming voice. He looked over at Menelaos and Hypatos. He then looked up at the top level of the stadium.

Menelaos and Hypatos looked up at the top level of the stadium.

Atreus, Aineas, Xasius, and Set glared at Menelaos and Hypatos with extreme intensity. They had an intense aura that completely enveloped them.

Atreus had his right hand on the hilt of his greatsword. Aineas had his left hand on the hilt of his greatsword. Xasius clenched the armrests with both of his hands tightly causing large cracks to form on the armrests. Lastly, Set seemed annoyed as he looked at the double tipped spear in Hypatos's left hand that was aimed at the boy with no armor's heart.

Xasius's voice echoed across the stadium as he said coldly. "Sit down, Number Eight!"

Menelaos looked at Hypatos who remained standing.

Hypatos said with confidence. "I refuse." He threw the double tipped spear toward the boy with no armor.

Aineas and Atreus both disappeared from where they were standing at the top level of the stadium at the same time.

Hypatos said as the double tipped spear flew toward the boy with no armor. "I only listen to Father."
