Married

Zhao Ling was currently sitting opposite Lu Cong, alone in a deserted ward waiting for eachother to speak first.

"So you are a lawyer."

"yes... and you are a CEO."

slightly laughing he nodded when she asked him.

"My grandfather means a lot to you, doesn't he?"

"He does, he is one of the people I value the most."

As she agreed to his statement, she felt a little relieved, when he asked her.

"when do you want to get married?"

When he asked her this question, she was stunned for a moment. Looking at him, she thought for a moment before replying him.

"What if I say now."

glancing down at her, he was stunned to hear her reply, when he asked his secretary to collect information about her, he thought she was a kind, little girl but seeing her courage he gave her a piercing look and took out his phone as he called his secretary to take a an appointment in civil office. Turning to her he replied to her.

"you better pack up, We are leaving for Bejing."

"Wait! I want to request you something, please don't make our marriage public."

when she made this request, he carefully looked at her, this time she was scared. Nodding he assured her that he won't make it public till she agrees.

When she asked him to marry her right now, she knew it would definitely make her grandfather happy and if she was marrying him then she would give her all in. Keeping her thoughts to herself she told assistant Lin, that she was leaving for Bejing and after completing all her documents she was once again come to see her grandfather. Nodding he asked her to leave.

Not much to pack she met Lu Cong at the airport, where he was sitting quietly in his chair giving of a cold and distant aura.

He was a man with a piercing grey eyes like a tiger, sharp nose and thin lips. he was almost 6'2 feet long with a build and a tan body. Covering his white shirt and black pant with a long coat he looked at her cautiously. She was wearing a long pink dress, her hair lose, which came upto her hips. She was looking beautiful, and first time in this lifetime Lu Cong's heart leaped seeing someone. Smiling slightly at him, she sat beside him as he spoke with his heavy and alluring voice.

"you should cover yourself, or you will catch a cold."

Looking at him and slightly smiling at his thoughtfulness she replied.

"I am sorry, I forgot."

"No need to say sorry." As he said this, he called an attendee at the airport telling him to fetch a blanket.

As the attendee came with a blanket, Zhao Cong wrapped the blanket around Zhao Ling, frowning at how small she was, but Zhao Ling became a bit emotional. It was almost a year that someone showed such care towards her, trying to stop the tears which were threatening to come out, she rubbed her eyes. As he spoke.

"I know it was a tough year for you, but give yourself and me a chance."

"yes...I never thought you are this sweet." chuckling at her words he replied her.

"This is a first, I want to give us a chance."

Hearing him she answered.

"So do I....come on our flights being announced."

As they both got up, they walked towards the first class compartment, taking their seats it took only 5 minutes for Zhao Ling to fall asleep. Smiling at his soon to be wife, he continued to do his work.

Zhao Ling woke up when they announced that they were going to land, tightening her seat belt she sat quietly. Many emotions were flowing through her body. She was in Beijing, exactly one year back. With her family, her sister and her ex fiancee. That's when a hand firmly gripped her hand, looking at him she tried to control her emotions.

As they landed Lu Cong's secretary and assistant picked them up in his Rolls Royce, driving towards civil office.

After an hour they were in front of the camera smiling as they took their certificates which showed they were married. Sitting in the car shey turned to him, " president Lu, can you book a ticket for me so I can fly back to Shanghai?"

"If it's about your job, I have sent them a letter and your grandfather's been informed."

looking at him in bewilderment she asked him once again.

"you gave my boss a letter and he accepted?"

Smirking at her, he told her.

"He is a friend, So stay here with me."

Looking down at her knees, she felt butterflies fluttering in her stomach, as he told her to stay.

Taking her hand in his, he told her.

" I have to go to office, I will drop you and I have told my sister so she must be definitely waiting."

"Right.....we have married before I can ask approval of your family or even meet them."

when he heard her he smiled and told her.

" They will be glad that I married you, and on the second thought I would love to keep everything quite with you."

Hearing his reply, she turned to him giving him, her full toothed smile, making his heart flutter.
