Sephine's POV

Napanganga ako nang silipin ko palang ang hallway ng dorm namin.

Is it.. There a holiday or something?

There's so many posters, gifts, deserts and even balloons! Everything's just connected to Charles in a certain way.

And oh god, there's even a picture of him printed in each and every one of those balloons and posters.

Even the cakes can be called Charles because it has either a photo of him or a miniature candy of his figure and face. Okay...

WHAT THE HELL. A CRAZY AMOUNT OF COLORFUL THINGS.

Hindi lang puno ng mga gamit at sweets, puno rin ng mga taong hindi mapakali ang hall namin. I'm guessing that even the other dorms are like this too.

No one should definitely underestimate the Heartthrob Prince of Royal Academy's influence to its school. This isn't even allowed in The Elite School. Buti nalang at Friday.

We only have classes throughout Mondays to Thursdays after all. Friday is a club or activity day. But there's no club meetings today, so I guess its an activity day. Obviously an activity solely focused on the Heartthrob Prince of the Royal Academy's birthday.

"You think he'll accept my gift? I bought this in France just yesterday"

"Aww~ I hope so! I even hired the best chefs just to bake this cake too"

"Hey! So did I! Ugh, I sure hope it wouldn't be like last year though"

"Hah. What are you talking about? He was in a bad mood last year, this year, he's even smiling frequently"

"That still doesn't guarantee that he'll accept all of these, right?"

"It's fine, it's fine! The Begley Residence accepts gifts! Let's go and send them!"

Napailing na ako kaagad saka sinarado ang pintuan ko at tinignan ang cake na ginawa ko kanina na nasa mesa ko ngayon sa kusina.

It's a vanilla flavored cake with blue colored icing and strawberries for decoration. Vanilla is his favorite flavor, blue is his favorite color and he said that he enjoys eating strawberries because I like them.

It's the feelings and thoughts that counts right? But..

"This.. Can't be compared to theirs can it?" bulong ko saka ako umupo sa lapag

Bumugtong hininga na ako saka tumingin sa may orasan.

It's already noon. Should I start the Operation: Surprise Charles?

Charles' POV

"Prince Charles! Kyaaaah, Happy birthday!"

"We love you, Prince Charles!"

"We brought you gifts, Prince Charles!"

"Happy Birthday, Royal Academy's Heartthrob Prince!"

"Please accept me and my love! This is my gifts for you, your highness!"

"SHAMELESS!"

I didn't dare walk out of my room or even look out the window. This is as crazy as always.

I should be happy for being loved so much really.. But sometimes, I feel like I'm being harassed by them or something. *sigh

Isn't this like.. breaking the rules and regulations of the school or something?

Hindi ko na pinansin ang mga fan girls sa baba ng dorms at agad nang tinignan si Ed na kasalukuyang nagbubukas ng mga regalo na talagang tinanggap niya galing sa mga classmates niya.

So much for volunteering. He obviously just wants to know what's inside each and every one of them. Apparently, he enjoys guessing what's inside those wrappers.

But anyways, everything that's happening right now is still not enough to keep me pre-occupied.

"Did she forget?" tanong ko dahilan kung bakit ako tinignan ni Ed at agad na binaba ang regalong bubuksan niya palang sana

"Si Sephine nanaman ba? Bakit? Hindi ka parin ba niya kino-contact?" tanong niya kaya naman kumunot ang noo ko't pilit na tumango

"It's been days. I said I will be patient but.. I'm just so worried I even forgot that my birthday already came" sagot ko dahilan kung bakit siya natawa

"Wait. Alam niya ba?" tanong niya pabalik kaya naman napahinto ako ng bahagya

"Ha? Anong alam niya ba? Anong ibig mong sabihin?"

"Alam niya ba kung kailan ang birthday mo?" tanong niya pabalik which was why I was devastated

Sinabi ko ba? Hindi niya ba talaga alam? I mean.. Ha? I'm pretty famous, right? I mean.. I'm the Heartthrob Prince of Royal Academy.

The only heir of my family's company.

Even if I can't be compared to Joseph Falcon whose very famous inside and outside of the elite circle and the entertainment industry, I'm still one of those bachelors who are part of "Ideal Men" in this country.

The whole school even knows that it's my birthday now because of all the gifts and other birthday stuffs all around the school. There are even banners and more than a dozen cakes outside our dorm right now.

How on earth could she not know?

I'm her man, aren't I?

Wait, h-hindi niya ba talaga alam? Ipapaalam ko ba sakanya? Itetext ko ba?

Pero magkikita naman kami mamaya diba?

"The Falcon cousins know that we'll be having a party to celebrate my birthday at your hotel tonight, right?" tanong ko dahilan kung bakit din siya napatingin sa akin

"That's right! She should know then, huh? After all, ang sabi nila ay free silang lahat ngayong gabi so sa tingin ko kasama na din dun si Sephine" sagot niya pabalik kaya naman napatango na ako

"I won't contact her then, knowing Sephine, I think she's going to greet me personally and just thinking about seeing her and talking to her after more than 5 days.. Is just so overwhelming. I'm so excited" sagot ko saka ako napangiti dahilan kung bakit kumunot ang noo ni Ed

"Ugh. Pwede ba 'wag kang magpaka-sweet sa harapan ko? Parang nung mga nakaraang araw lang eh masisiraan ka ng bait eh" sabay tayo niya't dumiretso na sa kusina kaya naman natawa nalang ako

Binuksan ko na ang phone ko saka tinignan ang picture ni Sephine saka napangiti.

I can't wait for evening to come!

Ed's POV

Nang makapasok na ako sa kusina ay sinilip ko si Charles sa may sala. Ngiting ngiti parin ang mokong. Hindi mo maipagkakaila na napakasaya niya nga talaga.

Nang maipasok niya na sa bulsa niya ang phone niya ay agad na siyang dumiretso sa room niya kaya naman agad ko nang inilabas ang phone ko't tinawagan na si Sephine.

"Princess?" bulong ko sa babaeng kausap ko sa kabilang linya ng phone

"Yes, Ed? Nagtatampo nanaman ba siya? Magsusumbong ka nanaman ba?" tanong niya kaya naman napa-snort ako

"Napatampo ba kamo? Ay nako! Napaka-optimistic niya kaya! Sabi niya 'I won't contact her then, knowing Sephine, I think she's going to greet me personally'" sagot ko habang ginagaya pa ang boses ni Charles dahilan kung bakit natawa si Sephine

"So he's being cute again? I wish I could see it!" excited niyang sabi dahilan kung bakit nanliit ang mga mata ko

Sht. Ang aga aga, pinagtutulungan ako ng dalawang 'to. Ba't ba nila ako pinapakain ng asukal? Nakaka-diabetes kaya 'yan! Mga eggnogs!

"Ah, no, I just need a simple cake and some flowers. Yes.. No, no.. I already baked the cake. I just need some roses.. Make it blue roses, okay?.... Uhm.. It's his debut birthday, so please prepare the same amount of roses... Okay. Thank you" tahimik lang akong nakikinig sa kabilang linya habang hinihintay si Sephine na mukhang may kausap na iba

I'm speechless. So this is her being.. Meticulous?

"Ah, Ed? Are you still there?" tanong niya kaya naman napaubo ako

"Yup, I'm still here. I'm listening. Should we start?" tanong ko pabalik

"I'm.. so nervous" rinig kong bulong niya kaya naman natawa na ako

So this is her being nervous? Hindi halata. Hahaha

"It's fine. You've long been prepared for this. You can this. We're right behind you"
