Sephine's POV
After Charles' birthday just as we all had expected, we had no time to bond with each other. But still we had a group chat where we could chat and greet each other. In the evenings, if we were lucky, we would go out for dinner together and of course, magsisibalikan din kaagad sa mga dorm rooms namin at mga assigned places.
Charles' on the other hand would send me messages early every morning to wish me a good morning and tell me to have a good day. I tried waking up earlier and earlier, but no matter how early I woke I didn't manage to beat him and send a message first. Nagtataka nga ako pero after ng tatlong araw ay tinanong ko na siya. I was so mad when I found out that he actually hasn't slept for three days! Just what the hell is wrong with him?
Of course, nung hindi ko siya nireplyan for almost a day, nagpadala siya ng flowers at dinner sa dorm room together with a letter telling that he's sorry and that he wants to see me. Dahil ayoko parin siyang kausapin ay natulog na ako't hindi na nakipagkita sakanya.
Pagkagising ko naman in the morning ay nagayos na ako kaagad at agad na lumabas ng dorm. It's Saturday, and today I decided to meet Charles.
Nagdala na ako ng mga iistudyhan ko't dumiretso na sa Music Room. Hindi ko alam kung anong ginawa nila pero naging private room na namin ang music room 2. Hahaha.
You really can't deny their influence to the school. No one even dares to come in here anymore and besides, there are guards guarding the perimeters of the school.
I guess they also requested for it. Damn rich kids.
Pagkadating ko dun ay nabigla ako dahil nandun si Charles pati narin ang ibang mga boys.
Pagkakita palang sa akin ni Charles ay ngumiti na siya kaagad at tumakbo papunta sa akin.
"Seph," sabi niya't kinuha na ang bag na dala dala ko pero hindi ko siya sinagot at tinignan lang
Nang mapansin niyang hindi ko siya sinagot ay napaubo na siya't hinawakan ang kamay ko.
"I'm sorry"
I pursed my lips and stared at his face. Nang makita ko ang eye bags niya't tired looking face, my heart ached.
"Just what were you doing?" tanong ko kaya naman napakamot na siya sa batok niya gamit ang free niyang kamay
"Something regarding the company," sagot niya kaya naman bumugtong hininga na ako
"Fine," malamya kong sagot kaya naman agad na siyang napa-pout
"Come on. I missed you. It's done. Everything's done. I can take a rest already. I promise"
Hindi ko na siya sinagot at nilampasan na pero dahil hawak hawak niya pa ang kamay ko ay madali niya lang akong pinigilan at pinaharap sakanya.
"Wait, ang sintas mo, Seph" sabi niya kaya naman tinignan ko ang shoes ko
Ah, natanggal?
"Sorry. Teka lang" sagot ko't luluhod na sana pero nauna niya na ako't sinimulan nang itali ito
"I'll tie it for you,"
"No, it's fine. I can do it"
"Ako na. Mahirap na, baka mahulog ka pa sa iba" sabi niya kaya naman napapout na ako't hindi na sumagot
Ang galing niya talaga pagdating sa mga ganitong klaseng bagay. Tsk.
After niyang itali ang sintas ko ay tumayo na siya kaagad at hinawakan ulit ang kamay ko.
"FCK! WHAT IS THIS?!"
"WHY ARE YOU FEEDING US DOG FOOD SO EARLY?!"
"GET A ROOM!"
Nagulat ako sa mga biglang sigawan kaya naman napatingin ako kina Ed.
AH.
"Oh! I'm sorry, I forgot that you guys were still here" sagot ni Charles dahilan kung bakit sabay sabay na nagsi-crumple ng papers sila Ed at itinapon kay Charles
Tumawa na si Charles saka humarang sa harapan ko para hindi ako matamaan.
"Hays. That's enough. We came here to study, so let's study, okay?" sabi ni Charles saka niya ako hinila papunta kina Ed
Nasira naman ang mga mukha nila kaya naman natawa na ako.
"WE came here to study, you on the other hand, have other plans! Shameless jerk!" sagot ni Rico kaya naman smug na ngumisi si Charles
"Tsk. Sarap suntukin ng lalaking 'to" bulong ni Rod
Umupo na ako sa foam na inilatag nila sa sahig saka tumabi kay Ed habang si Charles nama'y tumabi sa akin.
Nang kumuha na siya ng libro at nagsimulang magbasa ay agad na kumunot ang noo ko.
"You think you have the right to study now?" tanong ko dahilan kung bakit sila napatingin sa akin
"Uhh, we're here to study, right?" tanong niya pabalik kaya naman kinuha ko na 'yung librong hawak hawak niya't pinat ang napakalawak na foam
"SLEEP"
"..........." - Charles
Nang naspeechless si Charles ay nagtawanan at napahalakhak na sila Ed.
"He deserves it! HAHAHA"
"Go Sephine! HAHAHA"
"Torture him! HAHAHA"
Agad naman silang sinamaan ng tingin ni Charles kaya naman umubo na ako't ibinaling niya na ang tingin niya sa akin.
"Please," dagdag ko kaya naman bumugtong hininga na siya't agad nang humiga-- oh great, bakit sa lap ko pa?
Kinuha niya ba naman ang isang pillow sa tabi niyang sofa at inilagay sa lap ko saka humiga don
"Please," panggagaya niya kaya naman hindi na ako sumagot at tumango na
Tumawa naman siya't pumikit na.
Hindi naman lumipas ang ilang minuto ay naging stable na ang breathing niya.
"He's this tired?" tanong ko saka ko tinignan sila Ed kaya naman sabay sabay silang bumugtong hininga
"Actually.." nang huminto si Ken sa gusto niyang sabihin ay napatingin ako sakanya
"What? What is it, Ken?" tanong ko
"Last three days ago, we were talking about the party, the sleepover and everything until it came to your relationship" nabigla naman ako dun
"After talking for a whole night, we all had this one realization. That you're an exchange student and that you're not from this place" dagdag niya kaya naman hindi ako nakapagsalita
"He's doing his job at his father's subsidiary company in advance enough to cover up the next two months," nanalaki na ang mga mata ko nang marinig ko yun
"You mean.. he's..." hindi ko na naituloy dahil tumango na siya
Tinignan ko naman si Charles saka hinawakan ang pisngi niya.
He's doing it for me.
Ginawa niya na ang mga tratrabahuin niya sa company nila in advance para lang makasama ako for the last two months that I would be staying here.
God, if he isn't sweet, then what is he? Just how could he be this good to me?
He's even risking his own health just to spend time with me. Until my time is up and it's time to go back home-- wait, I.. I still haven't told him anything. Two months nalang?
Thinking and remembering all about it made my eyes blank for a moment.

Ed's POV
Because all of us was watching Sephine, it was obvious. The sparkle and glimmer in her eyes disappeared so quickly like she remembered something bad.
The others would probably think that she was sad for Charles, but I thought differently.
"Sephine?" nagaalalang tanong ni Rod dahilan kung bakit siya napatingin sa amin
The sparkle and glimmer in her eyes that can be compared to the night sky actually came back in just a flash.
Whoah. She really is a Falcon. She's good at handling her emotions.
"Uhh, I thought for a second that you were sad. But you seem okay, it's nothing" nagtatakang sagot ni Rod dahilan kung bakit napailing si Sephine at natawa
"I'm sorry too. I just realized that.. I only have two months left but I still haven't.."
"Haven't what?" tanong naman ni Rico kaya naman natawa si Sephine
"It's nothing"
