Prologue
Present time: 2022 World Calendar (WC)
This is my final battle against the Radun Syndicate. They destroyed my family, killed millions of people, and made our people live in poverty. They are evil and notorious criminal organization, it's evil works have no limit and attempted to control this world behind the shadows.
However, today will be the end of their evilness because I will eliminate them from this country. So, that anyone could live freely without fear and betrayal from those evildoers. They have already done enough damage to all of us.
Suddenly, my friend at the frontline starts shouting at me that someone has betrayed us. I was stunned and angry that we were betrayed by our ally in such a critical time! I should have not trusted them before. I should have listened to my brother.
This is all my fault. We've lost so many men and are on the verge of getting killed by the Radun because I trusted that backstabbing ally of mines.
Now, I remembered that I have left my lover near the city border, which is close to the Radun Syndicate's base. I hope she is still alive. Ugh!, I'm such a fool I shouldn't have left her there. I start screaming in frustration because of my mistakes. I kept on swinging my sword ruthlessly and recklessly upon the enemies. I was getting exhausted my whole body was drenched in sweat and blood as I got tired of swinging and lost my balance, and stumbled to the ground.
Now my sword is pointing at me… gulp...
The Story Begins
It is 1550 of the World Calendar.
A giant meteoroid was headed towards Earth at a fast pace. At the time, the human civilization of the planet was already more than 1000 years old.
During the summer night of this era, it was a full moon and everyone was enjoying the night. Many people were outside their house to enjoy the views of nature by flocking around with their loved ones under the night sky. Suddenly, some of the people noticed a bright object moving towards them from the sky at full speed.
They thought it was a shooting star. But they realized it was weird that the object looked bigger than the usual shooting star. It moved too fast. Meanwhile, in space, the object has just entered the Earth's atmosphere and started to burn up because of the friction with air molecules as it hit the atmospheric layers. It slowly began to crack, then crumbled into many parts like a cookie.
Those cracked parts shattered to random locations on Earth. But one enormous chunk had the size of an elephant and looked like a fireball in the night sky and struck into the mountain region of Fortis Continent.
At the same time, there was a small kingdom called Birata ruled by King Prida Sa from the Thakuri Clan in the Birdesh Empire. This kingdom had beautiful scenery surrounded by hills, forests, and rivers with a few villages around the main city. The people who lived in these villages were classified into three groups known as the scholars, warriors, and commoners.
King Prida was a twenty-eight years old handsome man. He had three sons and two daughters from three different wives. He didn't have enough time to focus on his family because of the war that was happening near his kingdom.
During that full moon night, he was watching the sky, deep in thought about fulfilling his late father's wish to expand his kingdom territory and create one big Birdesh nation. As the king walked slowly in thought, he said to himself, "How am I supposed to achieve my father's wish?" while staring into the night sky.
He noticed a bright object falling from the sky. That bright object was headed towards his kingdom rapidly.
And finally, it descended into the middle of the forest in his territory. It was a big explosion with a loud sound and made the entire ground rumble. All the people rushed out of the palace immediately. The guards gathered around and everyone was shocked. King Prida sent a few men immediately to see the object in the forest.
As they reached the impacted area, they hurriedly chased away the villagers who gathered around the area. The men started to analyze the object. They found out it had a rocky structure as big as the size of the palace room and it glowed from the inside. They were curious men. So, some of them decided to head back to the palace and report their findings to the king while the others stayed to guard the impacted area.
After hearing the report from the soldiers, King Prida's mind filled with curiosity. He jumped from his throne when he heard the news. "Is that really true?! Prepare my horse and supplies! I will check it out with my own eyes!"
The king and his army embarked to the impacted area leaving his trusted royal official to handle the palace.
They reached the impacted area as soon as they saw some of the soldiers were guarding the place where the object crashed into. He was surprised to see the glowing light coming out from within the stone. He brought his two best blacksmiths along as he wanted to figure out the origin of the rock and the glowing material inside the meteorite. They prepared a camp within the impact zone.
The two blacksmiths were brought from the main city and were ordered to dig out the glowing substance inside the meteorite as the soldiers guard them. As they finally reached the glowing substance layer...they freeze in amazement. It was glowing like magic. The layer has a transparent crystal-like form, which is totally out of the ordinary.
One blacksmith whose name was Ethan Anvil touched the crystal and suddenly it vanished. While he was in total confusion, his body felt uneasy and he fainted on the spot.
Seeing him faint and lying like dead on the ground, another blacksmith whose name was Kio stepped back and was scared. A captain named Biro Dan who was responsible to protect the tent rushed towards the blacksmith and checked his pulse. First, he thought it might be an enemy sneak attack using poison needles but there was no wound or any symptom of deadly poison. He looked completely fine. It's like he has fallen asleep.
Then Biro looked at the crystal in the meteorite and saw that one spot was missing and that many other crystals were arranged in rectangular form. Then he tried to touch another crystal but that crystal also vanished. Suddenly, he also felt uneasy and fainted together with the other blacksmith Ethan.
Another blacksmith Kio was shouting, "This is the relic sent to us by our God and we tried to destroy it, we should not have done that. Now God is angry at us and those guys are dead because they touched the relic. I don't want to do this anymore. I give up!"
Kio tried to leave the tent but the guard stopped him and knocked him out because he was acting crazy and creating a mess inside the tent. Another guard went there to check both of them and they were still breathing and he did not dare to touch the crystal. So, he asked another guard to report back to King Prida.
King Prida rushed back to the tent to check. He was totally nervous and feeling uneasy. He thought he might have done something that is beyond God's wish. He sealed the tent and warned others not to talk a single word about this to others and ordered his men to send those two blacksmiths Ethan and Captain Biro in another tent for rest near the meteorite camp.
