A hard decision

Looking at the pile of blood where Elizabeth has disappeared from caused her mind to wander, but all she could think about is the Pain of dealing with someone like Kyan at the sect. She seriously didn't want to go back there, at least not just yet.

The ship was talking to her, yet Cyra didn't hear it. She has already drifted far away inside her mind.

Where am I?

[In your mind Host]

Why?

[Your driving forces are started crashing with each other, this needs to be solved]

My current body should only have 3, or am I wrong?

[Yes, but sadly your current body nowhere near as healthy as the primary look at that..]

Inside Cyra's consciousness stood three planes; the biggest had blood flowing everywhere from a palace where [Pain] was chained to an iron pillar, and as she bleeds out, her blood fed the rivers and oceans of the plane.

The second plane was slightly smaller; everything was made out of gold and expensive minerals; inside a golden mansion sit a [Greed] in golden robes as she gazed inside a mirror.

There was another entity on the golden plane. Inside the golden museum, paintings and books told the glorious tales of Cyra. Pride was standing on a podium and continued to paint the recent events.

As for the last, it was the smallest of the planes, yet it was that emitted death and darkness continuously; looking around, there was an old temple, inside a [Chaos] set clad in black armor. Simultaneously, a naked soul was chained to her throne; Cyra recognized him. It was the guy she used to create her first scythe.

She was surprised to see that even though she lost all her techniques, the guy's soul was still present and trapped inside this place. Now Cyra wasn't that sure anymore if she could call this place her mind.

I remember you called them driving forces, but as I look at them, they resemble personalities; why is that?

[Current Host body originates from humans, that's all there is to it, as for why they are capable of appearing like that, it's because of Host recent evolution related to the brain, they are the subconscious that makes the decisions when they are unable to agree with something this is when the trembling starts]

The moment Cyra appeared, all of them came forward and kneeling before her. She was wearing the clothes that she had outside, but there was one main difference her main body was also present behind her, with all its might and glory; looking back at her main body, Cyra couldn't feel any more complicated.

They could see both Cyra and Cyrus, but they were bound to Cyra in the end and were powerless against its suppression; that was the main reason that they rarely tried to control Cyra's actions because the beast could hurt or even kill them.

"I presume you guys' disagreement comes from Elizabeth..."

[Pain]: We should torture her, you, and me together until both of us nearly bleed to death while our emotions eat us alive...

[Greed] pain is just like that original beast, but we get nothing out of doing such a thing as humans. I suggest we train her to become an obedient pet like her former self was.

[Chaos] both of you are childish. We should wait and see. I would love to see how exactly she is planning to take revenge on us!

Just imagine if she would go and rampage at the dragon clan or even better if she killed them or even better if she killed our master to try to hurt us, wouldn't that be funny? Ha Ha Ha, I honestly can't wait to see it.

[Pride] I don't care, I don't even understand why you guys talk about an insect, she is not even worthy to lick our feet, and you guys all over a little pet, pathetic!

[Cyra] can't I kill her?

[Pain] That would be too fast, at least torture?

[Greed] No! Absolutely not! She was our pet; we could have her again; we have to be a little more strict next time!

[Chaos] Killing her would ruin our fun; also, what are the chances that she can kill that. ~ Chaos pointed at Cyrus, who was sleeping behind Cyra.

[Pride] She is not worthy of dirtying our hands over it.

[Cyra] why? I don't understand what's the point of any of those...

[all 3] You must choose one of us!

[Cyra] Then let's go with Pain... should I torture than kill her...

[Greed] [Chaos] [Pride] No, chose between the 3 of us!

[Cyra] Can't I go with Pain?

[Greed] [Chaos] [Pride] No, pick one of us!

[Cyra] Fine Chaos than, and when you are done having fun, we will go with Greed.

As for Pride, you will record these glorious achievements.

Is this alright with all of you?

[Greed] Fine!

[Chaos] Perfect!

[Pride] I agree for the time being.

[Pain] that's not fair...

[Cyra] I am undergoing augmentations almost every day; between the 4 of you, you should be the most satisfied one.

[Pain] Ugh, okay, I let it pass this time.

Just a second has passed as Cyra turned towards the ship and said, - "Sorry, wasn't paying attention. What were you saying?"

"It's all right; I just said that everything is ready for the final augmentation."

"Oh" With that said, Cyra walked towards a teleportation formation and passed through it.

After arriving at the other side, Cyra saw something resembling a fusion reactor that channeled energy in large quantity towards a laser.

Bone Engraving was the next operation; during bone-breaking and reforging, additional elements such us Hallow dust and Tenanium were engraved and grafted into the bones.

Hallow dust originates from the depths of the Shadow Realm, it's similar to bone dust, but it's even more flexible and more robust.

The Tenanium is a mineral that can only be found in the Shadow Realm; it's a material mined from the great sea wall, then being transferred all over the ship as it is its primary energy source.

Hallow dust served as paper while Tenanium became the ink. The final augmentation was based on stolen knowledge regarding another faction knowledge. The cultivator's inscriptions were engraved using a high energy source into Cyra bones allowing her to use them, skipping the entire learning process along the way.

This engraving was only possible for QDW-s because of the Fanatical Absorption. They are perfectly able to maintain all symbols' functions. Even with these symbols present, they only use up 70-80 percent of the absorbed Essence; it can only delay but cannot stop Essence infusion and addiction for the body.

The next step was one by one engraving each symbol on separate bones. The process was done by a military forging laser that had eight claws spinning around Cyra.

Each claw had six powerful lasers on them that could easily penetrate any matter in literally seconds.

The process was relatively simple as Cyra had to stay still until the symbols were painted on her body by the Tenanium ink.

Then she had to enter the bed; it was a glass tube filled with Hallow dust. After putting on an oxygen mask, she lowered herself into the dust.

Then the ship added a little more dust and ultimately sealed the tube.

Then The ship turned on the lasers, and with slow-spinning, the ink that was initially on the skin slowly penetrated through the body appeared on the flesh, then appeared on the bones as a 100% perfect copy.

The process had to be repeated several times until Cyra reached perfection.

Even if it sounded cool, most symbols were missing because some could cause severe damage the body while the ship didn't wholly understand others.

At the end of the last session, all the symbols were activated at the same time.

Cyra's body started a high-speed vibration that wasn't visible for the naked eyes, but nothing less. It caused cracks to appear on her tube.

With a loud clatter, the tube was broken. The sand rushed out as if a wave pushed it out of the tube because of Cyra Essence's armor. It was invisible, but It could change its size.

She walked out of the tube, and there was a wave of sand pushed even further away a circle appeared around her. This happened every 10 seconds.

It wasn't solid, but it created a change in air pressure, generating light winds that could push away objects.

As she was walking on the shattered glass, she couldn't feel much because her actual pain tolerance has been enchanted to an inhuman level where even the main body driving force couldn't do anything about it.

Another instance worth noting is when she tried to drink a glass of water, it shattered even before she got hold of the glass.

It happened because she subconsciously sent out sharp waves that cut the glass into pieces.

In the end, she marked another glass, and without touching it, she moved in with her thoughts towards her lips to be able to drink.

Each rune has been modified to a certain extent to bring out the maximal powers within the QDW-s reach.

"The augmentation process has been finished; congratulations on becoming a perfect QDW-Adept." Said the ship hologram, who was standing behind her. - "Do you have any questions?"

"I do; how do I become stronger without my techniques? I mean, how do I break through?"

"Oh yes, strength has its costs; you probably have 10 Halo as most youngsters of this world; because of your race change, the requirements have also increased."

"I suggest you pick five halos that are fundamentally important to you than discard the other five by feeding them to the chosen."

"Than I will do just that."

"Be my guest with your current processing speed. The legacy of gamers is also meaningless as it would have increased just that"

Cyra was directed towards another place to stay as they talked as Elizabeth had destroyed her last living place. She was once more teleported to another location.

"Are you capable of flight or repairs?"

"I'm sorry, but I cannot answer that question. Your clearance tier is too low."

"What is my tier?"

"Tier Spec it's directly below Tier 0."

"How do I get higher tier?"

"By military services or stripping?"

"What is stripping?"

"Killing a higher tiered personal and obtaining their tier."

"Is that even possible? I mean, are there even humans here?"

"There are 23 Stasis chambers, 22 is still active, but there has been an awakening in number 9, more than 300 000 people awakened 800 years ago."

"Now they currently live in the lower levels that they have access to, they also trying to breach other stasis chambers to gain access to higher and find the bridge."

"Among them, there is military personnel granted rank by standard military procedures, and their rank still valid."

"Then why can't they access the ship?"

"They are in the core of the ship, the core separated by a triple-layered barrier while inside the core, every level is separated by a double-layered barrier. Furthermore, you can only leave from the top of the core at level 200, most of them are war criminals that are sentenced to eternal stasis, but their rank still stands; by killing them, you could gain higher tier-s."

"How long until they can use teleportation?"

"In 10 000 years, as not even the higher decks have any, the teleportation only exists in the advanced facilities on top of the ship."

Arriving in her new living quarters, she jumped on the bed and started concentrating; she thought the entire night until she picked 5 Halo to keep.

[1st Halo] [Fly]

[2nd Halo] [Reflection]

[3rd Halo] [Force Control]

[6th Halo] [The Book of the earth]

[7th Halo] [Light Wing Sand]

After choosing what to keep, she tried to discard the others, but it was no use. Nothing has happened.

How do I discard these Halos without a technique?

[It is possible but time-consuming, I suggest the Host let Cyra refine it automatically while the Host do something else]

How long does this actually take?

[Anywhere between 50 to 250 years]

Can she do it without me?

[Yes, Host-only have to decide to do it, then leave with the main consciousness]

Oh, I see... Then I want to start discarding!
