1000 years in prison II

Without actually Shadow Control, this was the best technique she could create, as from God, every time he broke through an immense realm, he would gain an additional Shadow.

While Azrail spent his time getting used to his new technique Cyra took a walk outside the shrine. As the killing intent was present, she had chosen to sit before the statue emitting the most actual killing intent and proceeded to cultivate as there was nothing else in her mind. At this point, she wanted to reach the Deity realm than exterminate the Collider sect.

She eventually reached 80% under the tower pressure, but then her Killing intent has broken through and advanced from a killer who killed millions to a killer who killed billions.

Her cultivation once more became slower. To her anger, she called Azrail to fight here. Even if it was unfair, she didn't care.

On the other hand, fighting someone that realms higher helped him understand how wild fighting could genuinely get. When adding the fact that Cyra was unable to use the technique, the fight was a nightmare.

It was the worst possible opponent to fight because Cyra was fighting naturally by her instincts without technique. This fact meant that every strike was utterly random, and there was no way to predict her next move.

Not to mention that if he managed to block at least one of her attacks, she would punish him by brutal forcing her way and sending him flying.

It's time for us to separate. I will let you know when you're in danger, so visit the other levels, recruit members to our sect. I don't care if they are good or evil as long as they are willing to make a sacrifice for power.

With that, Cyra has disappeared once more. This time she headed back to the territory of the heavenly sect. Since the collider sect gave her 800 years, she might as well use the remaining 770 years to its fullest.

She entered the black market with the Watcher's identity and searched for a place that was selling information.

She eventually walked inside an underground tower to see numerous shady figures making deals with each other.

She walked to the counter and knocked on it to see if they were open. The window opened, and a grey clocked older man walked out.

What do you want?

"Information related to Deity Realm and Shrines that hasn't been breached yet." Inquired Cyra as she leaned against the wall.

"That will be 10 grams of 70% Tylium."

"Here." At this point, Cyra already had hundreds of kilograms of Tylium from every possible percentage. As long as she could play with it, it didn't matter for her.

Soon afterward, she received two separate files on her bracelet, containing detailed information on how the deity realm worked.

As for the second part of the information, it wasn't that detailed. It merely marked five shrines inside the Wild Zone, namely level 6123, 6157, 6435, 6666, and 6861.

Cyra didn't have access to any shadow on these levels, but what she could do was going to the dock and flying down using the transport hole that all the ships were using.

Inside the hole, it was a hell of a ride. There were rules for ships to avoid each other by having an ascending and descending side, but there wasn't much space in between. As such, it became a bit hard maneuvering in between.

A little before reaching level 6870, Cyra slowed down, and instead of continuing her free fall, she climbed downwards.

There were no docks on these levels, but it didn't stop the people from coming and watching the flying ships. The brave ones even tried to jump on them as they saw the ships as a way towards their salvation.

As Cyra was getting closer to level 6861, there were fewer and fewer people, and on her destination, there was not a single living soul.

She found this rather odd but didn't idle for long and searched for a passage to enter the level. Unlike in the previous floors, where there was a free flow of people, her path was blocked by a unique door that didn't open until Cyra pulled out a dead body.

Upon detecting the dead, the doors opened, and Cyra finally gained access to level 6861, otherwise known as the graveyard.

The graveyard was a unique existence among the levels as there were not many places where a person could stand outside the entrance. A maroon-colored liquid enveloped everything.

Other than that, countless tombs were floating on top of the liquid. Just for curiosity, she was dripping the dead body's left hand into a liquid, and it instantly dissolved, just as she guessed it was full of acid.

In the end, she just threw the remaining parts of the body, but once the body touched down on one of the floating tombs, an enormous leg suddenly appeared from the liquid and pierced right through the body then dragged inside the liquid.

Upon using her force control, everything in her surroundings has become visible, be it above or under the liquid, and oh god, she prayed that the shrine wasn't under the liquid.

The first thing that came into her view was spiders. There were so many of them that she was shocked.

System what are they?

[Side Note: One of the rare species of giant spiders that live their entire life in water is acid.]

[Origin: They must have lived in water initially, but with the endless supply of bodies, the water must have been polluted, and with the spider's venom, it turned acidic]

[Body Analysis: They are not capable of breathing underwater; instead, they store oxygen on their bodies that will help them stay under the acid for years.]

Cyra could see that the previously took body has also started to dissolve, but with the spider's quick action, it could save it and take it to an air bobble where it could happily consume the remains.

Even though it was not the most hygienic way, Cyra looked for an acid pond by the sore and submerged her self in it to cultivate, even if it was barely able to damage her body, it was still more productive than without it.

While she was cultivating, she spread her force control further and further away in hopes of finding the shrine that she came to find.

1 Year after her search, she locked into something unusual directly under her; under layers of the web, there was something directly under the entrance.

As she stood up, her clothes have regrown and become weird again. Cyra loved it the most, so this identity was the one that usually used it whenever she could.

The acid had miraculous effects on her cultivation as it has risen to 85% in less than a year.

As she descended into the ocean of acid, she didn't feel anything as her clothes were barely even reaching, and it could quickly regenerate any damage.

As she walked into the passage that she sensed above, a whole new world appeared before her eyes.

The ruins of ancient catacombs could be seen everywhere. The place was filled with Shadow Essence.

But it wasn't the only thing that she sensed. There were millions upon millions of skeletons walking around under the effects of the Shadow Essence. It was no surprise that the spiders had avoided this place as these skeletons could shred everything into pieces with their overwhelming numbers.

She was utterly ignored and could freely roam around the remains nobody bothered her. Every single skeleton avoided here with great distance as if they were scared.

As she ventured deeper inside this strange world, she eventually came across some strange statues of death holding into a scythe in many different ways.

Around these statues were the faithful skeletons, those who didn't run away even if Cyra was standing right next to them, but it didn't stop them from trembling, as they were bones, it was even more evident that they were scared from Cyra.

Why are they scared?

[They are worshiping death, death has given them eternal life, it seems that they are scared that you will take it away from them.]

Oh, I can do that?

Cyra began to feel the Shadow Essence in her surroundings. With a wave of her hands, the Shadow Essence was pulled out of the nearby skeletons and entered her body, witnessing all this, the others ran away without looking back.

Those who lost the Shadow Essence turned back to mortal. Their flesh has reappeared. They look like before they were overwhelmed by it.

"How I ... Here ... we ... Sacrifice!"

"We ... weak."

"I ... Fear!"

"Death."

Not long after they returned to their original form, they began to rot away at an alarming speed. One minute later, not even dust remained of their existence.

Some ran, while others crumbled down on their spots and were praying to Cyra.

Cyra completely ignored them, and instead of walking, she began to fly deeper inside until she came across the Death Shrine.

Inside the shrine, death wasn't present; instead, even stronger abominations that were very much living were repurchased to life with Shadow Essence. The creatures inside the shrine had even more Essence flowing through their veins.

The Death Mages inside the temple didn't attack Cyra either as they knew what she was; this couldn't be said about the creatures they created.

After Cyra removed the Essence from these creatures didn't die. Instead, they were enraged and attacked her with all their might.

Even so, they were created from mortals as such after one hit, their very own body shattered as upon contact Cyra waves spread into its body and destroyed it, without any resistance.

Cyra continued walking forward in the empty hallways, From time to time, Death Mages crossed her path, but they left after performing a bow to her as it was perfectly normal for Cyra to walk inside the shrine.

This experience was wildly different from her previous one at this time. There was no fighting involved.

Soon she arrived at the library filled with books and tables where those who wished to learn could do so.

The shrine was preserved in perfect condition as everything was strangely clean. As Cyra pulled her fingers alongside a nearby table, not even a tiny bit of dust was present, showing just how well the Death Mages kept this place.

After leaving the library, another exciting place came into her view.

There were 12 statues of death alongside a circle facing each other. The moment Cyra walked inside the circle, the room's Shadow Essence concentration significantly increased as each of them pointed their fingers at her.
