Willpower vs Patience.

"Prime Minister, I am aware and I am sorry that I have not come to see you" He looked at Dan-bi with eyes full of love and a bright smile and he said "I was just about to come and introduce to you my girlfriend."

Yo-Han's declaration shocked the father and daughter, well The daughter was affected the most, it stung her heart mercilessly. the word 'Girlfriend' which is a common word felt wrong coming out of Yo-Han's mouth. 'How could he have a girlfriend, he never gives ladies attention, not even me, how come he now has a girlfriend out of the blue.

Yo-han noticed her shock but he couldn't care less.

Minister Guk was quick to recover from the shock, he looked at Dan-bi and forced a smile."Oh is that true, it's nice to finally meet Mr Won's woman." Prime Minister Guk greeted.

"Nice to meet you too, Sir Prime Minister I am highly honoured." Dan-Bi replied his greetings and bowed to show respect.

Yo-han felt relieved when he saw that she played along with him, this way, Minister Guk will be forced to cancel his matchmaking plans. 'Thank you Dan-bi, the universe answered my prayers by sending you here, I won't forget this.' he said to himself.

"May I know your name young lady?" Prime Minister Guk asked to ease his curiosity, he had being asking himself who this lady is since he saw her talking to Yo-han previously.

"I am Choi Dan-Bi, daughter of the outgoing Health Minister and CEO of Mari Hospitals Choi Mu-Young." Oh what a full description.

" Oh, you are the daughter who just returned from the west, did you just meet Yo-han or you've known him before now and tell me how did you meet I am curious." Prime Minister Guk asked, he was trying to act normal unlike Yeo-Na whose anger or should I say Jealousy reflects in her eyes, and the daggers she shot at Dan-bi would have sent the innocent lady six feet below the ground if looks could kill.

Before Dan-bi could talk or reply The Prime Minister's inquiry, Yo-han already started explaining everything." We have known each other before she left for the west, we broke up because we couldn't handle a long distance relationship but now that she is back we decided to take off from where we left."

'What a fake story to tell, you are so good at lying Yo-han' Dan-bi said to herself. She looked at Yo-Han's face and saw his dashing smile on his face. If she wasn't acting she wouldn't think he was only acting to piss Yeo-Na off which is only partly true. She saw clearly that the smile was from the bottom of his heart.

Yo-Han's reply triggered a realisation in Yeo-Na's head. Yo-han had always rejected her with only one excuse, "I have another woman in my life, I can't afford to give her up because of you." She used to think he was only playing hard to get but now she realized that he was telling the truth and now the woman who stole his heart is back. Her heart sank when she saw how he looked at Dan-bi, the smile on his face, their intertwined hands and lastly the attention he gave her. She had used five years of her life to get all this but he didn't even spare her a glance, he was only giving her face by being respectful to her and that's because of her dad.

He was straight forward with her right from the beginning but she refused to oblige to his refusals. Now she is heartbroken and it's not Yo-han's fault, it's her fault...No it's Danbi's fault, why did Dan-bi take his heart along with her to the west?, if she didn't, she would have been happy with him and he would lavish all is love on her and she won't be heart broken now.

'I won't blame Yo-han but you Dan-bi, I will not stop hating you, watch as I take back what is rightfully mine.' Yeo-Na said to herself as she glared at Dan-bi angrily, her eyes were full of evil, evil and evil.

After the introduction, Yo-han finally asked why Minister Guk wanted to see him as if he didn't know.

Minister Guk also was smart enough to find a reasonable excuse. He could not bring up the matchmaking, so he said. " Uh!, Ahem, it's not so serious, it's just that Yeo-Na has being nagging me to talk to you about a certain album art for the release of her new album, I guess she is hoping to win the Grammys soon, she has been working in the studio for a long time now, singing her stuff, with all her efforts, she needs a top class album art and she feels like only you can deliver it. Can you please help her with that.?" Prime Minister Guk pleaded like he always do whenever his spoilt child wants something.

Yo-han did not want to disrespect his old friend and he had being giving him face all this years but the more Yeo-Na goes through her dad to get him to do things, the more he becomes angry and fed up, but he still had to give Prime Minister Guk face. He sighed and faced Yeo-Na directly before speaking.

"Do you still have to go and disturb Prime Minister?, You already asked me this and I said I would do it, do you think I will go back on my words?, You have to stop nagging and disturbing your dad you are no kid no more." He turned to the Prime Minister and said, "Please don't mind her, we already talked about it, she can come find me in the studio to talk about it in details."

After assuring the Prime Minister, he and Dan-bi excused themselves.

Back inside Prime Minister Guk's study.

The moment they entered the study, Yeo-Na began to sob like a little kid because of what she just witnessed outside, not because of how Yo-han scolded her but because of his PDA with Dan-Bi. Though he only smiled and held her hand, it was enough PDA when it comes to Yo-han who hardly talks to the opposite gender except that Kim brat. She did not know what Dan-Bi has that she doesn't that made Yo-han like her.

She began asking herself all those stupid questions that nobody cares about.

"Let it go Yeo-Na, it's not meant to be." Prime Minister Guk said to pacify his daughter.

" Dad, what will I do?..." *sniff sniff*, "I am not going to let him go, I love him" *sniff sniff*

"What will you do?, You have to let go, that's the only thing you can do, he has someone else, and the way he looks at her shows how much he is in love with her. There is nothing you can do at this point than to let go, forget about him. Its not meant to be, just give yourself some time, what you are feeling will dissipate. I am sure you will also find someone." He explained to her with his caring voice not knowing that he just added fuel to the fire.

Yeo-Na was puzzled and angry at her father's word, " forget?, Forget about him? How can I forget about him, I have loved him since the day he saved me from those rapists, I can't even look at another man, all I know in this world is him, yet you are saying that I should forget him, you said you can't do anything, that's because you lack willpower, and that's probably the reason why it took you so long to finally become Prime Minister, you gave in to defeat last time, but see I am not like you, I have a strong will and I can do something, I can get him back, and that's what I will do." She said before storming out and she headed to lock herself up in her room.

Prime Minister Guk heard his daughters insult but he didn't put it to heart, he wasn't even angry. He just sighed and cleared off his worries and returned to the reception hall.

He didn't waste his time brooding over what Yeo-Na said, about him lacking a willpower. Truly when he lost the election previously, he accepted defeat just like that and some politicians may think that he is to feeble like Yeo-Na thinks, but he knew for himself that he was only patiently waiting for his time and that time finally came, he didn't have to engage in any dirty dealings that others do to get what he wanted, he became Prime Minister because the people wanted him to be, he was just patient and it paid off.

If there is any lesson he wants Yeo-Na to learn and inscribe in her heart, it is "The patient dog eats the fattest bone."

If she can't wait for her own man, what should he do then?, Should he ask Yo-han to leave his girlfriend for her?, who in their right mind would do that?.
