Yo-han stared long at Choi Dan-Bi's disappearing figure, trying to decipher whatever it is she meant by what she said. After a while of trying to no avail, he decided to walk away.
He turned around to leave in the opposite direction only to find a man blocking his way. "Oops... I... I didn't know you were there." He fidgeting upon seeing Na-Gil standing in front of him. The next thing he saw was a flying fist that Na-Gil threw at his face. Yo-han recoiled a few steps backwards and staggered, trying hard to regain his stance. The next moment, another punch landed on Yo-Han's face again causing him to lose his orientation and he landed flat on the floor.
Na-Gil squatted beside him and said. "One for neglecting the true one, for breaking her heart like this, and the other for coveting what should not be yours." Na-Gil chuckled and said, "I can't believe that for the same woman I would have to punch you twice neither do I ever think I would punch you for two different women at the same time... I am talking to you not as your aide but as your brother, whatever it is you are planning, stop it now before you break the heart of two women at the same time. They are not meant to be pawns in this dirty game. Stop it now." Na-Gil rose up and dusted the invisible dirt off his palm then he walked away.
Yo-han manage to rise to a squat position. He felt fluid flowing down his nose and then he reached at it to realize his nose was bleeding. He took out his handkerchief and blocked the flow, he then rose up to walk away. He looked at the direction at which both Na-Gil and Dan-Bi exited through, thinking about how strange the two had become. The last time Na-Gil punched him like this was when he had the notion that Choi Mu-Young was really guilty and for the reason that he wanted to give up his friendship with Dan-Bi.
"But wait?, are we that close in the past? I mean for Na-Gil to react that way then and now?, Is there something I don't understand?, Am I missing something here?" He whispered to himself as he kept staring at that exit.
"Boss, We should leave soon," Chang-min called to inform Yo-han and coming back to the present, Yo-han glanced to the side where Chang-min stood and responded. "Oh yeah, let's leave then." With that he also approached the exit and walked to the car waiting for him. He stopped after opening the door and said to Chang-min, "I am sorry for abandoning you the other time, sorry but I think I will do the same this time also." Yo-han got in and off the car went, speeding away until it was no longer visible.
Yo-han sighed deeply after the car moved into the road. He turned back to look at Chang-min's figure and said in his mind. "I am sorry for involving you in this shitty world, but still I won't let you witness the evil to come." He then shot his eyes close and dozed off.
Meanwhile Chang-min was standing speechlessly at the side until a car parked beside him and the window scrolled down to reveal a familiar young lady smiling as she waved at him, "Hop in."
Seeing this lady, he immediately became shy that he couldn't dare think of riding with her, he would die of timidity. "Huh, Kim Myung-Hee, you are here!, Ahem, I still have something to do, I... Em..." He stammered, looking for a more convincing excuse.
The smile on Myung-Hee's face disappeared and an angry look replaced it. "Hey, Get in now." She said, almost like an order which Chang-min could not disobey, feeling defeated he silently opened the door and sat in the passenger seat.
Myung-Hee's smile returned the instant he shut the door, she then closed in on him and reach over to help him strap on his seatbelt.
They were so awfully close and Chang-min couldn't withstand the pressure, his heart was racing wild that he had to hold his breath. Reflexively he snatched the buckle and tried as much to avoid eye contact with her and said. "I Ehm, I can do this myself." He said careful, trying not to offend or anger her, and waited for her to retreat but she didn't. She just stared at his face with her smile widening.
"I just like to see you nervous, you are even more handsome that way." She then giggled and continued, " I am not always this cheeky but I can't help it whenever you are here." She then slowly retreated and not until then did Chang-min relax.
'Why do you like to always make me nervous, you're going to be the cause of my death someday.' Chang-min thought, he exhaled sharply making himself a bit worried that Myung-Hee must have found delight in bullying him like this.
"Actually, I won't be the cause of your death" Myung-Hee said, making Chang-min jolt fearfully, 'Is she a witch or something?'.
Myung-Hee smiled and said, "You actually whispered those words... You should know that it's because I like you. So much that I can't stop thinking about you. And your attitude ehn, it makes you so cute... Don't you like me?"
Chang-min shifted uncomfortably on his seat, 'This is embarrassing, how can she say those without hesitation. Is this a prank?', He then stuttered, "Em, I mean, how can you, Ehm how can you say such, I Ehm, is this some kind of prank. Hehehe, you almost got me there."
"Yes it's a prank, I saw the joke on the internet and you are the first person I tried it one but it didn't work, it's just a joke." Myung-Hee giggled as she explained herself.
Again Chang-min relaxed, he turned to look at Myung-Hee who also turned to him but strangely her expression turned serious as she said, "Actually you are slow-witted and I like it, I wasn't joking, you just really are insensitive and naive. No wonder Brother Han made you come along with him today, you still have a lot to learn about life... I am going to have it hard teaching you about love but don't worry, it's not so difficult, you will learn it quick." She said to him straight faced and then she started the car and drove away.
Chang-min remained dumbfounded by her words, "Did she just drag him into a relationship?, Is this a dream, ha no this is...'. he turned to her, staring at her, willing to say something but he couldn't voice his concern.
Myung-Hee felt the stares directed at her and couldn't ignore anymore, she shifted her focus to him and asked, "What is it?, say it."
"Hum, what did you mean just now?" He asked immediately, impatiently waiting for a clarification.
Myung-Hee smiled and replied, "You are actually not as slow-witted as I thought. It's what you think it is. You just don't worry about nothing, I know you like me you just don't know how to express yourself and here I am, helping you out."
'Woah, I am going to die of shame today,' Chang-min thought, he did not believe that Myung-Hee really did have feelings for him until now. Isn't it shameful that she made the first move?, 'Grrrh, I definitely will die of shame.'
'And why am I blushing like this?' He questioned himself.
The rest of the ride was more quiet and peaceful but at Yo-Han's side chaos had broken out.
_
'No, no, not this again' Yo-han panicked as he saw a fat blacksmith dipping an iron rod into the coal fire. Staring into the fire, Yo-han went into a trance, he saw Park Mit-Eum burning to death, wailing in pain all to no avail in that fire. Yo-han tried to reach out his hand to probably pull his beloved uncle out of the fire but he realized that his hands are bound together and he is suspended on a rope. Not just that, he also discovered the numerous scars on his body and the pain from the torture.
He looked up and the fat blacksmith returned to bring the rod from the coal. The man approached Yo-Han and with each step the man took, the thumping of Yo-Han's heart increased. The man stopped for a second and turned to an older man who turned out to be Jin Beom-Seok. Jin Beom-Seok nodded and the fat blacksmith proceeded to stamp Yo-Han's chest with the red-hot iron.
"Nooo!" Yo-han exclaimed and found himself seating in the backseat of his car. He sighed heavily as a result of his increased heart rate. 'This dream again. It's just a bit strange, why would I see Uncle in that scene?... This whole thing must be making me crazy. I find it hard when I want to sleep but when I don't even plan to, I fall asleep for a short while and this nightmare persists.'
"Nightmare??" Someone asked beside Yo-han. 'WTF', Yo-han was scared to death. When did someone else join him in the car?, 'Wait, the car is not even moving anymore. Where's the driver?, What of the bodyguards?' Yo-han worriedly questioned himself. He slowly turned his head to get a proper view of this person beside him. Yo-Han was really cautious probably because he just had a nightmare or just instinct but he felt this fellow is not a friend?. 'Or is this the evil Ron warned me about?'
The man who had a mask covering the lower part of his face and a hood over his head asked again, "Is it a nightmare? It must've been about me, isn't it?" He then chuckled at Yo-Han's frightened expression. " I know you weren't expecting me but guess what? I invited myself." He said and accompanied it by a maniacal laugh.
Yo-han furrowed his brows and asked, "Are you by any chance the souvenir? Jin Beom-Seok's present?"
"Exactly, forgive my manners, I am called the Blazing Death. Normally I would do my job and leave but I definitely can't do that with you. I am so interested in you because I have a grudge to settle with you." With that the man removed the hood and slid the mask down to his neck revealing his face.
Yo-Han was so surprised when he saw the face of the assassin sent to him. Normally he didn't get the reason why the assassin will want to show his face until he saw the young man's face.
"Do you remember me?... Oh, from your expression it's clear that you do... Isn't it time to settle the scores?... It's just so good that I will be the last face you will see." The fellow said with certainty. On the other hand Yo-han still didn't believe what he was seeing.
"You are Ong Chin-Hae???!!!"
