Reconciliation

"Little friend, I am afraid it's high time for you to let go of your grudges, you managed to take four of the five culprits down, even Sun Joo-Won is now on the run, let it go and end this peacefully. It is all for your own good." Wang Dae-Woong stated with authority.

Yo-Han grinned and his mocking chuckle made Dae-Woong furrow his brows. "Old Wang, what do you mean by letting go? That is not something I can comprehend."

Wang Dae-Woong scoffed, "Even after knowing all you wanted to know you still fail to realize that the Lee family is untouchable? We don't have the capability to go against them, we known how notorious Country N is, we can't go against their ally except we are ready to pay the price. Do you know how expensive it is?"

Yo-Han rose to his feet and walked up to the rooftop bar's railing. He glanced down at the heavy traffic in the city. "Old Wang, I don't believe you would be the one saying this to me. Did you... Did you not assure me that there is no such thing as impossible?!" He yelled at the top of his voice and turned back to the man who rose from his seat and made an approached.

"Yo-Han, You still want to go on with this?" Wang Dae-Woong questioned, "Yo-Han, look" He pointed to the vast city, "Look at what you've acquired so far... Look at the compensation for what you lost, you have people around you who love you and would sacrifice everything for you. Do you want to press on until you finally meet your doom? I have given you a taste of revenge be satisfied with that. Don't forget, I am still alive and the Wang group still answers to me. Even PiA cannot disobey my orders, therefore, I want you to get your hands off this revenge immediately, take a vacation, probably to country A or even Country H. Find yourself peace and return only when you have no more thoughts of revenge." Wang Dae-Woong stated. Judging from his tone this time around, Yo-Han realized that it was a command.

Just as Wang Dae-Woong turned around to leave, men in black from the Wang group approached Yo-Han. "Young Master, please cooperate with us. We are heading to the Airport, you can decide your destination on the way." Du Seuk-Chin explained.

"Hands off me!" Yo-Han yelled, "Old Wang, why are you doing this, don't forget your promise, you promised to give me the world."

"Yes I did!!!" Wang Dae-Woong erupted, "Yes I promised but I also promised my best friend to keep her son safe no matter what, even when my life is on the line. Think about your mother you idiot! think about that young lady too, think about how miserable they will be if you end up like Park Mit-Eum. Leave the country now and return when you finally hold no grudge no more. Don't worry, Min Corporation will progress well, even more than it did in your care." With that Wang Dae-Woong left.

"Young Master, we should leave now." Seuk-Chin said. Yo-Han held a finger up, "Hold on, before I leave, I need to do something. Take me to Mari hospital."

_

At the ICU, Mari Hospital.

The Doctors and nurses were attending to a young lady, from the monitor readings, her life appears to be hanging on a loose rope. The doctor powered the defibrillator, and got ready to supply the electric shock, "Alright, charge..." The patient's body jerked as a result of the electric shock and after trying for sometime, the wave pattern on the monitor became normal.

After a while, the doctors exited the ICU with triumphant smiles and relaxed expressions on their faces. In no time the news of Guk Yeo-Na's recovery travelled to the Prime minister.

Na-Gil sat in his VIP ward next door, monitoring everything that happened from the moment Yeo-Na woke up till now. For the first time in a while, he was finally able to smile.

"Guk Yeo-Na you must have loved Yo-Han so much that you gave him a chance to escape my wrath." He walked to the window and stared into the dark night. "Yo-Han, you are a lucky b*st*rd... I just don't understand why you dropped by earlier."

After resting through the midnight, Yeo-Na finally woke up. The several bouquet of roses that decorated the room welcomed her. She slowly rose to her feet and dragged the drip stand along with her as she picked up the greeting cards one by one.

Amidst the sea of roses, a bouquet of white orchid and a vase of purple hyacinth sat side by side on the desk. There was a note attached. Yeo-Na wobbled to the desk, ignoring the wall of red roses, she picked the note and read the words.

"I have wronged you and no amount of apologies will suffice. I just hope you are able to meet true love, he has always being waiting around the corner but you gave him no attention. Give him a chance @ S N G. As for me, I am leaving the country with no definite time of return. Don't think about me and have a good life... White orchid or purple hyacinth, I was indecisive hence I... "

Yeo-Na swallowed the saliva that moistened her dry throat. She squeezed her eyes shut in order to resist the urge to cry. Rather than an apology, this note sounded like a good bye for good. She sulked a bit but in the end she gave in to fate. It was hard to accept the truth but it made her slightly more comfortable. For the first time in years, she finally manage to let go of something she valued so much.

"Sung Na-Gil, is it true what Yo-Han said? He steals glances at me but I never thought he had such thoughts. There was actually someone who wanted to cherish me but I didn't even realize it." Yeo-Na suddenly remembered an event of the past, a teaching her father tried to inscribed in her but she was to wise for her to value it back then.

"Let it go Yeo-Na, it's not meant to be." Prime Minister Guk's voice rang in Yeo-Na's mind as he tried to pacify her.

"Dad, what will I do?..." *sniff sniff*, "I am not going to let him go, I love him" *sniff sniff*

"What will you do?, You have to let go, that's the only thing you can do, he has someone else. There is nothing you can do at this point than to let go, forget about him. Its not meant to be, just give yourself some time, what you are feeling will dissipate. I am sure you will also find someone who would love you more than Yo-Han can ever do." The old man's caring voice explained to her but as at then, the words only added fuel to the fire.

She flew in a rage at her father's words, "Forget? Forget about him? How can I forget about him? I have loved him since the day he saved me from those r*pists, I can't even look at another man, all I know in this world is him, yet you are saying that I should forget him, you said you can't do anything, that's because you lack willpower, and that's probably the reason why it took you so long to finally become Prime Minister, you gave in to defeat last time, but see, I am not like you, I have a strong will and I can do anything, I can get him back, and that's what I will do." Had she known that willpower might not stand a chance against fate, she wouldn't have insisted stubbornly.

"What will be will be. I guess I couldn't alter fate. I guess there was someone else meant for me." She finally accepted reality.

She fell to her knee, finding it difficult to remain calm and the tears threaten to stream down her face. She might have accepted reality but it's still too sad.

"Hey, why are you suddenly taking a vacation?" Dan-Bi couldn't fathom the reason behind Yo-Han's decision to leave the country. That was her first question the moment she arrived at the waiting area in the airport.

"What are you doing here?" He jerked back to reality since he was lost in thought previously. "Dan-Bi, it seems like you are stalking me this days."

"Hmmph, who is stalking you, I just happen to have an impromptu trip today, that's why I am here." She took her seat beside him and poke at him. "Ehm, What's wrong with going on a trip with my hubby?" She mused.

Yo-Han held back a chuckle, "Dan-Bi, you are just so fearless, mom, must have tipped you about my trip, I will be leaving for a long time, you have the choice to leave now or I won't let you go later. Even if I am to stay in country J forever, I won't let you return back here. Pick your choice Ms Choi." Did he not know that she is here to leave with him, she can't do without me, is it? And with mom backing her she won't change her decision. He himself has come to realize that a compromise may not be too bad. In the end, is the Lee family not going scot-free? So what's the point of punishing himself for this long years. Why not live happily with the woman he deserves.

Though he wouldn't be able to forget this, he just has no choice but to obey Wang Dae-Woong.

The confident smile broadened on Dan-Bi's face as she slowly said the words, "Count... me... in, team Han for life." She stared into Yo-Han's ocean-like eyes, nodding to him as she confirmed her decision. She took his hand and rested her head on his arm.

Yo-Han felt a feeling spread through his chest, like he just made the achievement of a lifetime. "Dan-Bi you really don't want to think it twice, I don't know when I will return and I won't let you leave either, not even to see your family. I won't be able to bear parting with you for just a second."

"If you love me that much why put up an act and make me work for want I want instead? Men are too petty." Dan-Bi hit him by the side severally, letting out her annoyance. Yo-Han just chuckled as her foam-like fist hit his hard tommy.

"My dear wife, are you so desperate to feel my six pack?" His comment reddened Dan-Bi's face immediately and she retreated her hands. She turned away from him to hide her embarrassment. This action made Yo-Han smile more. "He reached to her and pulled her into his embrace. "Stay like this, you are too exposed, even though it's autumn, the temperature is relatively low today and the air conditioner is running, you could catch a cold."

Dan-Bi peered down at her soft pair of clothing and realized he was right. Even if he wasn't, she would still remain in his embrace, no matter how lame the excuse may be.

She snuggled closer into his hold, luckily, they are in a private waiting area else she wouldn't have the guts to do that.

Yo-Han felt his heart warm. He bent and placed a kiss on her forehead. "I am sorry, I made you wait for so long. I am also sorry, I treated you like a stranger. I never believed I would make you cry. To me you have always been a precious elixir. I promise to treasure you more from now on."

Dan-Bi swallowed and gripped his shirt as she couldn't hold back the welling tears. "I... I am also sorry... I let my jealousy lead me into prejudice... *hiccup*... I was totally arrogant to you. I took out my hatred for Yeo-Na on you and I messed up a lot... Forgive me."

Yo-Han smiled as she wet his chest with the little drop of tears. He giggled, "look at you, I didn't take that to heart, I forgave you already." Dan-Bi glanced at him with her cute gleaming and starry eyes. Her expression dissolved to an happy smile.

"...But there's one that I really did take to heart." Yo-Han added. Dan-Bi's expression changed. That smile, that wicked grin, no Yo-Han is out for trouble again. She wouldn't mistake that expression. "Wha... what, what now? What's with that grin?" She questioned.

Yo-Han stared down at her, "You don't know? Have you forgotten? You do realize that you hooked up with my half brother, don't you?"

"Ehm, Ahem, I... I, ehm, why do you make it sound so casual, it wasn't even more than going out on dates, what do you mean by hook up? He's not even your half brother anymore." She yelled the last parts, trying to clear her name.

"Hmmn, so you mean he didn't get to do this?" He closed in and pecked her lips. "And this?" He proceeded to a full kiss. "Not even this?" He then took it to the next level, two adults making out.

'Can the writer leave the room for them please? Sure I will.'

An alarm signal jolted them back to reality. It was time to board the plane.
