Two idiots make destruction...

She lifted up the frog from before, what was supposed to become Zhang Han's and Vaien's dinner that night, and threw it at Vaien's face with utter rage.

It flew past him and exploded against the wall in the back of the cave. Bits of frog outside and insides made a mess everywhere. Some of it landed in the water basin, some over the furs that Zhang Han had hidden himself in, a long, yellow-spotted leg dangling off the pile of mechanical parts and projects that had been neatly tucked into a corner.

Brother and sister outside began to throw punches at each other.

They fought dirty and without relent, too.

Even though Kalla wasn't Vaien's equal, she'd just keep getting up every time she was thrown down, even when her top had gotten turned to a color of brown dirt.

She somehow landed a slap on Vaien once and it made his whole neck snap to the side.

"I hate you!" she yelled.

"So do I!"

Their fight was both petty and bitter, wild and destructive. Inches of rock were worn away from the cave as more and more craters were thrown into the earth.

...Zhang Han was so glad that he was hiding back here. He absolutely wouldn't have survived otherwise. But he feared the end result of this brawl.

Was it really safe to have a big fight like this on a cliff side? What if--

The ground shook and trembled horribly, foreboding what Zhang Han had just thought.

"..." This is bad! He sat up carefully, avoiding the flying piece of rubble that came towards him somehow. "The cliff foundation is turning unstable!" he warned.

Vaien and Kalla kept exchanging blows, both of them sucked into the single-mindedness of anger and battle. Their bodies swerved and shifted in a way difficult for Zhang Han to follow by eye, not to mention he couldn't even feel the powerful auras that the two exuded.

"You two..." he started, then decided that between the two of them at least Vaien was slightly more likely to listen. "Vaien, you have to stop! The cliff is shaking, I think this whole ledge might collapse!"

On cue a number of rock started sliding down from the top of the cave like a small waterfall, blocking some of his view. Zhang Han coughed from all of the dust floating in the air.

This wasn't good.

What curse Kalla visiting had been! She was honestly very similar to Vaien in not just looks, but personality. A bit crude, gusty, outspoken, impulsive...and easy to lose her temper. These character traits clashed with Vaien, neither of the two willing to act like proper and mature adults that discussed issues rather than turning violent.

Or perhaps that was more so a cultural aspect of this planet.

But whatever it was didn't matter so much. Now that the two were fighting Zhang Han wasn't sure what to do to grab their attention, after all, they were so into it. He couldn't attempt approaching, wounded as he was, without getting turned into pulverized meat. He imagined this scenario being like two stray dogs that had started up a fight; Stopping them was nigh impossible unless one had the strength to pull the two apart.

The situation on the cliff was getting worse.

Let alone the rock that was beginning to fall from the ceiling of the cave, the overlook and pathway outside were in even worse condition. There were gigantic dents everywhere, and finally a giant chunk of the previous overlook had fell into the basin below with a crash.

Zhang Han had looked out over it so many mornings...now it was gone.

There was a little tug on his insides. He didn't like this.

Booms of Kalla and Vaien's brawl still echoed strong.

Without thinking too much, Zhang Han reached his hand down to his belt and pulled out his laser gun again. He shot it at Vaien from behind.

The man's head twitched, he spun to the side while avoiding another one of Kalla's punches as he glanced at Zhang Han back in the cave.

Hm...he'd forgotten about him.

Vaien also seemed to notice all the rubble and bits of rock that were beginning to fall.

Yes, that could be an issue. He shifted his eyes with guilt, but his hands still had to go up and block a full on round-house kick that Kalla sent his way.

Kalla could care less about the cliff. in fact, she had every intention to ruin it so that Vaien would consider coming back to the tribe.

She sneered as she flung her knee down into the center of the the rock right in front of the cave with all the force she could muster.

This action was powerful enough that even her tannish skin was bloodied along her knee.

The foundation of the cliff fared even worse.

It was already losing its structural integrity from the other craters, many placed near a thinner lynch point next to the pathway, and now even the center had been shattered deep into the core of the stone.

A shrill creaking and cracking noise began to ring into the air.

The ground below Zhang Han's body was shuddering nonstop like there would be an earthquake. The rock that had once been firmly latched to the mountain side began to slip downwards.

Rubble on the edge fell off in chunks, and the cave was no longer attached to anything, either, and it began to crumbled rapidly

Zhang Han sucked in a breath of terror, but that only brought on a coughing attack as dust clogged his lungs. He stood up, hoping to run to escape down the cliff before it was too late, but fell back onto his knees from the pain.

These two...dumbass siblings! They were gonna get him killed as collateral!

A large slab of rock above his head fell towards him. Zhang Han was trying to avoid it when he felt warm arms wrapped around him.

Vaien picked up Zhang Han as gently as he could before knocking away the falling rock. He ran out of the cave with him, making sure to grab the medical kit, too. He was swearing loudly.

Kalla was puffing out breaths outside, her feet shifting weight frequently to keep standing on the falling earth and to fight her exhaustion. But it was clear that she got the worst in the fight, more spots on here were purpling and red. In truth, Vaien probably could kill her if he really wanted, but in the end wasn't about to murder his own sister.

They were just fighting again. What was new?

The only issue was that it brought the cliff to cusp of destruction.

Vaien was still running at her with Zhang Han and a couple of other items bunched into his arms. He was close to finishing the fight this time. He struck his foot out at her when she met them at the bridge-way down the cliff.

She was raised her arms to block, but unfortunately for her it had only been a feint.

Vaien elbowed her straight in the chest and her body flew off the cliff side in a one-hit KO. Her body disappeared below the crumbling cliff line.

He...really knocked her off the cliff without hesitating! Would she be okay?

Zhang Han felt a heavy vibration from Vaien's chest as he yelled, "You rotten sister! That's what you get!"

"..."

They managed to reach the base of the cliff just in time.

There was a deafening crash and clutter as rocks and boulders rolled onto the grass like an unstoppable force. A nearby face-eating rat squealed in the grass before it was smashed into a bloody pancake by one.

Pterodactyls that had been circling so happily above as they watched the bloodshed were even scared off from the ruckus and clouds of dust...
