Chapter 7: Breakfast Together

The sound coming from the door of Xiao Lan's house and then a few moments later a the door was open by a girl with a silky straight black hair with a smile on her face seeing her two friends.

"Xiao Hong , Sister Jun good morning." said Xiao Lan towards her two friends.

"Good morning Xiao Lan." said Jun Xie

"Good morning Xiao Lan!" said Hong Feng in an excited voice which made Xiao Lan look at Hong Feng who is smiling happily, when Xiao Lan's hand was about to pat Hong Feng's head she was stunned to see Hong Feng and Jun Xie holding hands.

"Oh my I didn't know that Xiao Hong was already so close with Sister Jun this sister is shock ha" said Xiao Lan dramatically with a feign sigh which made Jun Xie laugh while Hong Feng's cheeks blush red in embarrassment.

"Xiao Lan don't tease me I just became friends with Sister Ling." said Hong Feng while looking down to her feet which started making circles on the ground Hong Feng didn't realize that Xiao Lan was surprise hearing Hong Feng calling Jun Feng Ling sister Ling already which made Xiao Lan bit her lower lip without noticing.

"Have you two already ate breakfast?" asked Xiao Lan trying to change the topic.

"Well not yet I came here early to find you so I didn't eat yet." replied Hong Feng and Jun Xie at the same time then look at each other and laugh, which in turn made Xiao Lan smile at the two girls.

"Well I and father didn't eat yet so might as well come in and eat together with us." said Xiao Lan in which Jun Xie and Hong Feng nod their head and decide to eat with Xiao Lan and Chief Xiao after eating breakfast Hong Feng and Jun Xie help Xiao Lan clean the used plates.

"Sister Jun , Xiao Hong I am going to the forest to forage for more ingredients would you like to come with me?" asked Xiao Lan which made the two girls happily nod because they also want to find food at the forest.

Then the three girls each took a big basket one of the basket have snacks and water in place so they can rest and eat in the forest when they are tired, after checking that they are done with their preparation the three girls walk towards Jun Xie's house to get to the forest while chatting happily.
