Alex (Alice- Alice in wonderland)

He had came home drunk off his ass again. You thought that if you didn't interact with him, he wouldn't know that you were there.

Such small hopes can attract an even bigger downfall.

He stumbled into the living room, bumping into the couch while he tried to keep his balance. He ended up tripping over the rug, causing him to land face first onto the floor.

You couldn't help but laugh at his foolishness, which was something you never should've done. He jumped up in a heartbeat and threw you off the couch.

You crashed through the glass coffee table that was sitting in the middle of the room. Glass shards buried themselves deeper into your back with every breath you took in. You tried to move, but that caused pain to shoot in every direction.

Your vision began to blur, but not before you saw the look on his face.

Dissatisfaction.

He wasn't done with you, That much you knew. But you weren't prepared for what he was about to do next.

He went into the kitchen and grabbed the sharpest kitchen knife he could find. He walked back into the room to find that you were still drifting in and out of consciousness.

He croutched down next to you and took your left hand in his while holding the knife steadyly in his other hand. He placed the top of the blade at one end of your wrist and slid the point across your skin until It met the other end. He gently layed that hand down by your side and did the exact some thing with your other wrist.

He made cuts that were deep enough for you to bleed out, but not deep enough to kill you instantly. Apparently he wasn't as drunk as you thought he was, because he was extremely aware of the actions he was taking.

He was tired of you being the favorite child, tired of you being so damn perfect. He thought that this was a perfect way to get vengence, vengence for the life you stole from him. It's true that he did love you at first like every older brother should, but then he soon began to realize that your parents spend more time with you than they ever did with him.

That, however, was not true.

He was anti - social and barely had any friends. The only time he ever talked to his parents was when he needed money and whenever you tried to talk to him, he would just ignore him.

He smiled at his handy work before he walks over to the couch and watches you as you slowly and painfully die away. He didn't plan on you reviving and was shocked when you woke up and started screaming.

You tried to look down at your wrists, but he slapped you before you could even lift up your head. He turned your face over so that you were facing him. You looked up at him with tears brimming your eyes.

His smile was cold and heartless as he held the cold blade to your throat. You whimpered causing his smile to grow bigger.

"Now (y/n), you could've made things easier by staying half awake, but now that you're fully awake, I'm afraid that you'll have to die more quickly than I planned." He pushed the knife down against your throat, but it hadn't broke through your skin yet.

"Why are you doing this?" You asked him breathlessly.

You were beginning to fade fast and you could hardly breath. He leaned closer to you until you could feel his warm breath hit your ear.

"Because I was ment to be an only child." Those words had cut you deeper than his knife did.

And when his knife finally did slice open your throat, that's when you woke up gasping for breath.

You breathed in and out almost as if you were having a panic attack. You began to calm down and breath in normally when you realized It was just another nightmare. You were afraid that if you closed your eyes, you would still picture him holding that knife to your throat.

It's been five years since the nightmare was actually real, but what has happened was a lot worse than him ending your life. Your parents had walked through the door just as he has made a small slit in your throat. It wasn't deep enough for you to die instantly, just big enough for you to start losing blood faster than you already were.

You didn't know what has happened after That because you had passed out from all the blood you had already lost. But you woke up in the hospital three days later with bandages wrapped around your throat, chest, abdomen, and wrists.

Your scars were a ugly red for weeks. Then they slowly turned pink and then the white That they were today. You didn't need to worry about your unloved brother because you were taken as far away from him as possible.

Even though he was in jail, you still didn't feel safe being there, so your parents helped you pack your things and you went to live with your aunt in England.

You noticed that you had fallen asleep under your aunt's favorite Ash tree in her backyard. You began to shake, knowing that you'll continue to have this dream until the anniversary of your 'almost' death has come and gone.

You sighed and looked down at your kitten, Nala. She was looking at you with her big blue eyes. You smiled down at her, hearing her purr as you stroked her head.

Your head shot up when you heard a twig snap. It had came from the woods in front of you. A snow-white rabbit hopped out from behind a tree and starred at you.

Your eyes went wide with shock when you saw his attire. You thought it was a dream, so you rubbed your eyes, but when you opened them again, he was still there.

He took out a good pocket watch and opened It. He closed it quickly and hopped deeper into the woods, leaving you speechless . You didn't know that you had stood up and ran after him until you tears the rustling of leaves and twigs snapping underneath your Vans.

You thought that you were crazy because you were chasing something that had to be an allusion, but your gut told you otherwise. And your gut was never wrong. Then again, you haven't taken your meds so that could be the reason why you felt like you were going insane.

You stopped in your tracks when you realized you didn't see him anymore. You took in your surroundings and saw a rabbit hole a short distance away from you right next to a tree.

You cautiously walked up to the hole, not knowing if there were any snakes or other dangerous creatures surrounding hiding in the leaves. You bent down to your knees so that you could look inside of it. The ground began to crumble under your hands and you fell forward.

You closed your eyes waiting for the impact That never came. You felt something soft against your cheek. You opened your eyes to see two glowing balls of silver floating above you. You sucked in a breath when the orbs blinked. They weren't lights, they were eyes.

"Hello little one , why were you falling through the ceiling?" A deep british voice asked you.

You gasped in shock once a light was turned on. His body was covered in silver and baby-blue stripes all the way down to his clawed feet. Even his tail was covered in the same colors. It was all fur and so very soft that you could have stayed in his arms forever. You looked up at his face and saw that it too was covered with that same fur, but his hair was mostly baby-blue with a fes purple and silver streaks here and there.

In a normal Human perspective, you would have been scared, but he seemed gentle and you found him to actually be cute in a hybrid sort of way.

"My, my, what a cute face. I may just have to keep you for myself." He smiles down at you, showing you really Sharp teeth.

"Chessy? Where are you?" Called an annoyed voice.

Chessy sighed with contemptment and out you down so that you were standing on your feet.

"In here Master Alex. And se seem to have a visiter." Chessy said Just as a voy with beautiful blue eyes and golden blond hair walked in from a really dark hallway.

"Oh I see, well let me be the first to tell you, welcome to Wonderland." He smiled at you and took your hand in his and kissed your knuckles.

You blushed and nodded, but looked at the ground to keep him from seeing your flushed face.

"Chessy you are to protect our new guest with your life as you're showing him/her around, is that understood?" He asked Chessy all while looking at you.

Chessy nodded and took ahold of your hand. He began to lead you down the hallway that Alex had just came out of. While he was leading you up the stairs, you couldn't help but wonder why he seemed so familiar to you or why he looked so sad as Chessy led you away.

Sooner or later you were going to find out the secrets that not only explain why Alex is so guarded, but also why wonderland is unescapable.

But little did you know that he knows everything there is to know about you. The question will be, how does he know you?

You'll soon find out . . .
