King of Blades

Hey everyone, author here 👋 This is a ‘self-review’ of the story and a more descriptive syno**is. This story is a sort of ‘hard reboot’ of my prior story titled, “The High Human.” This story consists of a person from our world, being thrown into an endless cycle of rebirth in the world of Highschool DxD starting several thousand years in the past up until the modern era. I also decided to have the setting of the story take place in the modern era at the same time as the plot, unlike in “The High Human” which took place in the past. The main character is referred to as ‘Brennus’ his last name, due to having taken many names in his past lives. The main goal for Brennus within the story is the Holy Grail, which would allow him to end his endless cycle of rebirth and revive those he had lost through the endless battles in his previous lives. Unfortunately, he has to do this through the changing tides of the plot, of which he has almost no recollection of due to the thousands of years that have gone by. Throughout his lives he has stayed only human, but that doesn’t keep him down at all, even having slayed gods throughout the years. His main source of power is his Sacred Gear, a knock-off version of ‘Unlimited Blade Works’ from the Fate Series. Brennus has to cascade through a familiar time period with a rather unfamiliar plot during the decline of the three factions, the absence of God, and the rapidly degrading relations between Pantheons. Can he even pursue his goal? Or will the world throw him into the plot, where the fate of humanity hangs in the balance? Anyways, I hope you check out the novel. I tried my best to improve over my last few projects. The only thing I believe I really need to improve would be my Word Count per Chapter and a bit of my grammar. Chapters are like what, 400words? U dun even need to scroll down. And there is like only 7 chapters, that is basically 2 normal chapters on other novels. And we have a 15k 'ignore chapter of bs'.

well although im sad that i didnt see the development between the mc and artoria in ur last fanfic, this one has very interesting sypnosis and start. i just hop that mc will meet artoria again xD

I'm sad because Author-san dropped his previous novel.(*sigh* I'm really looking forward to the romance of the MC with Artoria in the previous novel, but unfortunately, that never happened ...) But, like the previous novel. this novel is amazing !! mark my words! You will definitely like this story!

The story is good, like your other ones but at least focus for once! This novel wouldn't last long like the others I bet, and it's also short...you keep switching it's bothersome. Plus ignore 15k+ words it's bothersome okay It's opinion.

Finally, a worth opponent. I see this author also drops a bunch of novels. Except his are really good. Love thos story so far.

First of all, I must say that this story should be higher ranked in the power rankings. Chapter length is okay, nothing amazing or bad, just that length tgat gets you hooked for more. So far the story has progressed quite fast in the beginning, but we might slow down as we get closer to some DxD events. So far the premise of the story makes me so excited that I simply want more chapters. I just hope that you do the females justice by not making themike dolls like most fanfics I've seen. I'm sure you'll do the romance justice. I would pay for P*treon, but as I'm a poor dude, that isn't happening anytime soon.
