Chapter 13

//////////

Author Notes: Hey guys, sorry if it longer than usual for this chapter, I had few things going on IRL so I didn't and still don't have as much time as I would like to write.

Moving on, I gathered from a few comments that my 'Classes' broke the story pace, which I understand from a reader viewpoint. So, from now on, whenever I have long AN explanations (Classes), I will just put them at the bottom like a footnote so that people can read them if they like or skip them if they want to fail the class ;). Also, don't worry about me increasing the chapter word count with that since I always write chapters ranging from 900 to 1400 words (excluding the Classes) depending on their content.

Now that it is explained, we can go back to the story!

'Man, you would think monks would be a peaceful, relaxed bunch, but this…'

I was sitting in a meeting hall and facing me were the top brass of Kunlun, which are the council of Elders as well as the Iron Fist. The hall gave an ancestral feel as it was full of ink paintings, mythical sculptures, and archaic vases. The air had a lingering scent of incense that would have been calming in any other situation, instead, the atmosphere could only be described in one word: tense.

After defeating the monks earlier, I had them bring me inside of their sanctuary to meet the decision-makers. It didn't take long before a bunch of monks stormed in the room with consternation written on their face, since I easily defeated the protector of their realm, the Iron Fist.

When all of their elders finally entered the room, the Iron Fist, named Ip Man, broke the ice. (AN: 😉 I loved the movies. P.S. this is not the real grandmaster of Wing Chun, just a name I choose to make a reference.)

"Sir Arthur, now that we are all seated, could you explain the reason for your visit?"

I had a sneaky grin on my face.

"I have long heard of the famous wine brewed here in Kunlun, so I wanted to appease my curiosity and try it."

The look on their faces was priceless as they confusedly looked at me. Ip Man asked me to be sure.

"Did you truly come for the wine?"

"Well, it's one of the reasons, yes. Now, why don't we discuss the more important things around a cup of wine?"

They broke in silent chatter before they all looked at one of the elders seated on the side. He was quite plump and had a rosy complexion, he definitely enjoyed life.

Seeing that everyone was looking at him, he turned pale as realization dawned on him. He made a pained face as he rushed out of the room. I nearly chuckled when I heard him whisper.

"My precious…"

It took less than five minutes before he came with a large jar, and from the gulping sounds that came from the elders, it should be a delicacy. Though, watching a bunch of bald grown men looking like Naruto after he discovered ramen was a bit disturbing. I just hope their clothes won't explode like in a certain foody anime.

The loud popping sound made by unsealing the cork of the jar was accompanied by a dreamy fragrance that tickled your nose and made you unconsciously thirsty.

'I think I know why the drunken fist style came to be…'

The plump elder first filled my cup, then proceeded to drop a few droplets in the eager elders' cups, who quickly turned sad seeing their portions. Forget what I said earlier, pouting bald men were creepier.

The first sip I took was, despite the good taste, a bit disappointing since it felt more like sparkling water than wine. I felt no heat whatsoever. This was the disadvantage of a superhuman physique. I then turned to the expectant plump elder.

"Do you have anything stronger?"

I didn't think I'd ever see someone replicate kid Deku's depressed face so well. His shaking body and the stunned look on the elders' faces didn't help either, so I just shook my head.

"Alright, I won't play around anymore."

This made it look like the previous minute was just an illusion, since all the elders, including 'Deku', had serious faces.

"The main reason why I came today is concerning your mortal enemies, the hand."

This created an uproar among them.

"What?!"

"Is he with them?!"

"Which hand? a royal flush?" (AN: ignore this one, I just had to make a joke haha)

"Enough!"

Ip Man quickly took control of the situation and calmed the rest of the elder before facing me.

"Please continue, Sir Arthur."

I nodded.

"I wanted to ask you a question concerning them. What would you do if someone destroyed them?"

A few shocked faces were shown amongst them.

"We would be eternally grateful for taking care of those pests."

I smiled.

"Grateful enough to pledge your allegiance?"

I dropped another bomb.

"How arrogant!"

"The Order of the Crane Mother cannot submit to anyone!"

The situation looked quite chaotic.

"Silence!"

Ip Man then spoke.

"This is a very serious matter, Sir Arthur. We cannot make such a decision alone since our Order obeys directly to the undying dragon, Shou-Lao."

I waved my hand.

"Don't worry about Shou-Lao, I will convince him. For now, I want Kunlun to join my group, the Order of the Veiled Light. I created this group to protect and guard Earth against all the threats existing in the Universe."

"And why should we join you?"

"I want you to be martial arts instructors and to train strong warriors. In exchange, I will show how to truly use and cultivate your Chi."

I then flared my aura and raised my hand, forming a Prana ball which then became a flower, a sword, a bird, a dragon and finally ending by forming a Taiji symbol. From their gaping mouths, I acted well as a mysterious senior.

Ip Man then regained his sense.

"Even if your offer is interesting, it is only valid if the Hand is destroyed and Shou-Lao agrees."

I chuckled at that.

"So, I only need to convince Shou-Lao now."

Ip Man first looked confused, then shocked as he slowly asked.

"Do you mean that…"

I nodded.

"Exactly."

I then took out a few freshly preserved corpses and their heads from my space ring, five to be exact, which I placed on the table.

The elders all stood up in shock, then after inspecting them for a moment, had wry smiles on their faces while they looked at me.

I shrugged while chuckling.

"What, I was never good with puzzles."

I then levitated Bakugou's head from Madam Gao's body and connected each head to their respective body.

"Now, is this proof enough?"

This roused the elders from their shock as they bowed toward me.

"We are greatly grateful for your help."

Then Ip Man spoke further.

"Sir Arthur, if you can really convince Shou-Lao, then we will willingly join you."

"Good, then guide me to him…"

I then followed him with a smile on my face.

'Time to tame a dragon…'
