Her Familiar

After saving Asia, she somehow choose to live in my house because she can be with my brother. But my idiotic of brother seems haven't noticed the puppy love Asia feel towards him. I approved his relationship with her because I have judge her personality worthy.

"Ah, good morning Iva-san!" Asia in her new Kuoh Academy uniform great me after step down from her room in the second floor to the dining room.

"Hn. Good morning." I greet her without looking at her as I still busy making breakfast for my family. "Let me help you!" Asia rush towards the kitchen but she somehow slipped and almost fall down if I had not manage to catch her.

"Be careful." I help her stand properly before went back to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. She stand near me face red from embarrassment, she looks like going to cry from ashamed. I sigh and give her a cheese "Here, grate it like this and put it on this bowl." I took her hand and show her the way.

She dry her waterworks and start to grate the cheese with serious face. I put another ingredients to the egg and mix them well when I heard Asia said "Done!" With a big satisfied smile.

I took the cheese she grate and pat her on her head "Well done." I continue with my work ignoring the blushing mess of Asia beside me. It took me only five minutes to complete the omelettes and add the topping.

"Whaa! It's looks delicious and it's smells good to!" Praise Asia as she look at my work. "Here took your plate to the table." I give her portion while I carry the rest. She excitedly run to the dining room hurriedly forgetting that she already almost fall just a while ago.

"Ah!" She once again trip by her own leg this time. Since I have the feeling I'm ready to catch her again. I kick her plate up so it won't crash down and hold her fallen body with the same leg, I then catch her plate with my head and balance it so it won't fall. Since this time my hand full of the others plate.

She immediately stand up and I put down the plate in their position before turning to Asia who almost start a new waterworks. I chop her head gently with my hand she let out a small squeak before lifting her head to look at me face to face.

"Crying won't change anything. Besides everyone can make mistakes. Just promise me that you will try not to make the same mistake again." I give her the advice I keep to my heart every time I feel disappointed at myself. I then give her a small smile that appear along with the emotions I feel from my memories of my beloved late oldest brother.

"Okay, I promise!" Asia give me a powerful nod as her face painted with resolution. I give her a nod "Then you better keep your word. I hate people who broke their promise." I unconsciously went back to my emotionless face and give her an intimidating stare. That make her move away from me afraid.

"Ah, I'm sorry." I went back to my indifferent blank face as I realise what I just done. I about to move up stair to wake up my brother when I felt Asia tugging my skirt gently. I look down at her and ask "Did you want to ask something?"

"Um.., I want your advice Iva-san. Rias-senpai try to invite me to her peerages, should I accept it?" She look at me hopefully. She want me to decide her option is. I sigh and poke her middle forehead like my elder brother used to "Choose your own path with your own decisions. But at least I can give you some information about being a devil."

I then told her about the same thing I once told my brother. She look surprised at the plus and minus of being a devil. "But as long you choose with your own free will, I will respect your choice and stay beside you when you need advice." I pat her head again.

She give me her innocent smile that warm my heart. She really remind me of that idiot ball of sunshine who used to be my best friend that always become my light after my eldest brother left me.

"By the way, why you refused Rias-senpai invitation? You can protect your brother even more in her group." Asia suddenly ask making me stop my step.

"There's no way Rias could be my King with her current power." I become stoic as I explain about it. "Beside, I have to stay as a human." I then mumbled this in small voice. "Huh? Did you just said something Iva-san?" Unable to heard my last sentence Asia ask again. But I have no intent to tell her about it "It almost time to go to Academy. Let's wake Nii-san." With that I change the topic and climb up the stair to my brother room with Asia behind me.

In the end Asia choose become a devil to be with my brother but she still have habits to pray to God making her have headache each time she did it.

My brother spend his time in the club even more than usual making our family time less. I'm grateful though, he will have more thing to do that reading that useless magazine in his room.

Sometime I saw my brother exercise in the park with Asia and Rias. He look like a piece of garbage after he was done with his workout. Even what he did was only a warm up for me, that I usually did everyday. Well, it's his own fault. I already warning him since we're young that he need to be more fit, yet he waste his time to read those magazine.

Well, what I want to say actually today my brother particular behaviour that quite different from usual. He look flustered and uncertain. Today he have glance at me for so many time in the class that it become very distracting.

In break time I approach him to ask for what he wanted "What did you want this time Nii-san?" He look surprised first that I notice his amateur stalking that he did with Asia.

He look very uncertain at first but than said what he wanted to ask "Um, are you free after school? We're going to a forest today to search for a familiar. Maybe Iva need one..." He still speak while feeling guilty along with Asia who hide her face behind my brother in shame.

[New Mission]

Accompany Hyoudou Issei to The Familiar Forest

I sigh seeing the new mission, it's not really important unlike my last one but if I don't agree my brother will be disappointed. I seems to ponder about this a bit to long and that is what make them so nervous "Fine, I will come with you. But next time tell Rias to come to me for herself or else." I said coldly at the last sentence as I still hate Rias for trying to manipulate the people that I care.

Later at after school I met up with Rias's group like what I promise to my brother. "Ah, you came Iva!" Said Rias enthusiastically. I reply her with a classic Uchiha grunt as I still annoyed at her last trick to make me come with her into this expedition.

"Ara~ ara~, Iva don't need to be so grouchy. Buchou just giving you a greeting." Akeno make a fake kind smile as she hug me from behind. Being slightly shorter than her, she lay her chin on my head.

My killing intent immediately flare up. Noticing this Akeno move away from me along with the others. "Don't casually touch me." I give her a glare before suppressing my killing intent once again. "Let's go, finished this as quick as possible. I want to go home." I sigh and walk to the magic circle first. Behind me I can hear Rias's group follow me.

On the other side was a forest with quite old trees and this place wasn't as silent as it look. I have a tiny headache because my Senjutsu sensor feeling all the magical creatures that lives in this place.

"Iva are you alright? You look a bit pale?" Asia who just come from the portal notice the slight change I have. I shake my head as I already adapted with the new presences that I felt from all the magical creatures around me. "I'm fine just a little headache from unnecessary information I felt in this forest." I said calmly as my face back to it's stoic mask.

Then some old man suddenly appeared in front us while introducing himself as the Master Familiar of this Pet Forest. He then proceed to told us about the Familiar that lived in this place as he gives us a tour around the forest and sometimes introducing the Familiar that we seen. The Undine is quite different from what human book said. My pervert brother loss a bit of his innocence seeing those Undine.

"So, did you found the Familiar that you're looking Ise-kun, Asia-chan?" Ask Rias as she smile at my brother and Asia as they looking around them in wonder. Seeing that both of them never went to a place like this.

"Ugh.., sorry Buchou I still haven't found the amazing familiar that I want." Said my brother with disappointed expression. Well, the Familiar that exist in this place more like a beast type that the human type that my brother probably want.

"Ah, that that is probability bad because our tour has ended. We has already seen the most common Familiar that exist in this forest." Explain the Familiar Master.

"I still don't know which one that I wanted." Asia mumbled softly as she walk behind me and her hand still cling to my skirt in our tour. She must felt uncomfortable in this forest.

"What about you Iva? Why don't you use this chance to gain a Familiar?" Rias suddenly suggest me to find one. "I have found none of the Familiar in this forest useful to me. And besides I already had my own Familiars."

Startled shouts then echoed through whole forest after I drop my opinion. "What! Why you never told me about it?!" My brother yell at me while look a bit disappointed that I never told him.

"Well, you never ask me about it." I told him my reason plainly. After that all of them suddenly slip and fall down. I look at them confused while helping Asia stand after she slip along with all of them. I found it odd usually only Asia is the one that klutz. But now that I really think about it their reaction felt really deja vu for me.

Then Rias ask after standing properly "Can you show us your Familiar?" I pondering the benefit and loss that will experience if I choose to show them or not, but then I shrugged my shoulders as I felt no need to hide every single information about me to them. By showing some benefit of trust to Rias she might stop pressuring my brother to extract information from me.

I plug a young leaf from a tree near by and play a certain tune to call him. After that I let my left arm hang in the air when I heard his cry. An abnormal big crow ascend on my arm and perch on it. His wide wings cause a tiny whirlwind in our open area. The girls holding their skirt down while the boys hide their face from dust and tiny stone that flown by the wind force.

My Familiar then perch calmly on my arm while glaring at them. "This is Shuichi, my Familiar." I Introduce Shuichi to them while scratching his favourite spot to calm him as he didn't like stranger near me.

Then the devils stared at Shuichi in awe. Koneko then the first one to notice that my Shuichi is not an ordinary crow. "It's has three legs!" She exclaimed in surprise but immediately shut up as Shuichi glared at her.

"B-but the only crow that have three legs is the legendary Yatagarasu who is a divine beast that human never able to sign a contact with one!" The Familiar Master then yelled in disbelief.

Shuichi immediately snap at his word and let out an ear piercing cry "Who do you think you are, worm!? My master is the most magnificent existence in this whole world! Insignificant insect like you should never shown your face before my lady!"

"Shuichi, shut up." I monotonously said while stare at Shuichi with my black eyes. Shuichi went rigid in my arm and finally become tame "F-forgive me my Lady. I have step my boundary." He shutters in fear making the audience glace at him surprised because he come from proud to obedient. "Hn." I grunt. He relax a bit at my sign but still very tense.

I then raise my hand up, Shuichi who already know the meaning of the sign took off from my arm and fly back to his duty. My brother snap out from his surprise "Wow! That is amazing Iva! Where did you get one? Can I have one so cool like yours?" He come near me like a child who want a christmas gift from his parent.

I give him a small smile as I'm happy to see my brother so cheerful. "I meet Shuichi dying in one of my adventure in my dimensions. I raise him back to health and he give me a soul contract with him as exchange." I answer him.

"Nii-san you have to earn a Familiar not expecting it to give you one if you want a strong one like mine. Because they more smarter than the pets in this forest."

"Ugh! It's not fair how come my sister is the first one that get the cool one! Next time when you visit this dimensions thing, you have to invite me!" My brother then start to lecture me. I just give him a nod so he stop pestering me.

Asia then looking at me with curious eyes. I sigh "Fine all of you can come. You can even take all the thing that dropped from the thing that you defeated." The devils group look happy like a child going to an amusement park.

"Pii" a small squeak then resound in the forest making all of us look up to the source of the sound. Up in the tallest tree branch lay a noticeably small dragon, with blue diamond-like scales and a small pair of wings.

"Oh, a sprite dragon they are one of the rare and hard Familiar to find you guys lucky the little one is still a baby. You might able to make a contact with this one. Because the adult of it's kind is vicious." Explain the Familiar Master while pointing at the tiny dragon.

"So, you mean that it can become strong later." My brother conclude then he walk towards the tree the dragon resting with a big grin on his face. I somehow have a feeling that this won't end up well.

"Nii-san remember you must earn his respect first. But maybe you better not try with this one. I have a feeling that your affinity with his is very low." I decide to warn him but like always my idiotic brother seems to think my warning unnecessary.

He proceed to yell at the dragon disturbing his sleep getting the dragon to have bad first impression on him. My brother then ordered the dragon to accept a contact with him without giving the dragon an exchange for his service.

A dragon is a powerful and prideful species and this tiny one is no different. So, the dragon use his power to use blue lighting to shock my brother then he fly away. The dragon leaving my brother charred on the ground.

I sigh and then I heard the girls screams from behind me. I look at the scene before me and I could also felt my eyebrow twitching when I saw the devil girls clothes being melted by a smile.

My brother instantly revived and started to giggle like a perverted old man. Ugh! He sound even like Jiraiya-sama right now. I really wonder how my cute brother become like this. When he was young he don't act like this. I blame this to my perverted father.

My thoughts was interrupted by the girls loud shrieking when the slime won't come of. "Enough." I said while annoyed at the situation how a devil being played by a slime and just screaming like a weak bystander. I immediately use my gift with wind to blown and rip apart the slime.

Being with this groups really remind me about my past in the academy. Those banshee fan girl that always stalking my brother and other chaos that seems to attracted by our team. But I found all those memory precious even with all the good and bad thing that happen.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

My brother sudden shriek surprise me, I almost lost control because of him. He immediately cling to my body and start shaking me. "No!! Stop! Stop! Iva you're killing my familiar! Stop hurting Slime-taro!"

I tried to shake him off as he begin to annoy me "Unhand me Nii-san! That is not even a pet! It just a pest that always appears everywhere!" But he ignored me and shaking me harder. That make me stop because I can hurt those devil especially Asia if my brother is disturbing me.

Rias, Akeno, Keneno, and Kiba manage to get rid the rest of smile that cling to them. "Kyaa! Stop it!" Asia squeal as the slime almost done striping her clothes. "Oh! Oh! Oh, boy! That's it Slime-taro! Just a little more!" My brother laugh strangely and yelling at my ear.

I need to help Asia. She don't deserve to get my brother pervert attitude at her. But before I done something to help her, an unexpected help come in form of a tiny sprite dragon. He take my brother of me, then the dragon strike my brother and the slime that clung into Asia with his blue lightning.

"Gyaaaa!" My brother yell as the lighting struck him. I don't bother help him with this one because he deserve it. After one fried Ise and one free Asia the sprite dragon satisfied and proceed to snuggle Asia with his skin.

"Hn. He seem to like you Asia. Want to try a contract with him?" I ask. Asia look very happy that she get a familiar "Then do you want to came with me Rassei?" Asia ask and the newly dubbed Rassei give her a nod. A bright magic circle appear under her and Rassei. Then it immediately disappear after it's done the contract.

"What's that?" Ask Asia confused. "That is a magic circle for the familiar contract that you and Rassei just agreed. That one is life contract one of rare contract that make him your friend for life. The time limit is until one of you died. You did a good job that make the dragon respect you." I decided to explain while I was in the mood. Asia blush at my praise and mumbled something in quite voice.

"Well, it's seem only Ise that still doesn't have a familiar. He still have much to learn." Rias comment while she let out a soft fond smile at my brother that still recovering from Rassei thunder.

I seems too paranoid about this devil group. They no different from a teenagers that have several bad problem clinging on them. And they also remember me of my past. I think I can open up a little bit to them. At least my brother deserve to know who was I and who am I.
