"So, are you planning to let her stay here or what?"

I continued. "Moreover, by making her my servant, I ensure that she won't hinder my plans or impede my progress. It's a strategic move."
Licheri nodded in understanding, his eyes reflecting a newfound clarity. "It makes sense," he confessed.
Then I turned towards Licheri. "Licheri," I called out to him.
"Hmm?" he responded with a nonchalant hum, his attention shifting toward me.
I stared at him intently, my mind buzzing with a myriad of questions and concerns. I expected him to pick up on my thoughts effortlessly, given his supposed ability to read minds.
However, to my frustration, Licheri's frown deepened. "What?" he queried, his tone tinged with annoyance.
I let out a frustrated click of my tongue. "I thought you could read my mind," I retorted with a hint of complaint. "Why is it suddenly useless at a crucial moment like this?"
"I can," Licheri replied, his voice laced with a hint of annoyance. "But you have to understand, there are countless thoughts swirling in your mind. It's like trying to pick out a single grain of sand from an entire beach," he grumbled, clearly not thrilled.

Licheri's expression contorted into a cringe. "Oh, there have been plenty," he responded. "Back in the day, incubi and succubi were crazier than nowadays, kidnapping humans as if it were some twisted game."
Seeking clarity, I posed another question. "And how about lately?" I inquired, my gaze locked on Licheri.
