A new beginning

Alex Rodriguez… A graduate who barely managed to finish the twelve classes of high school. This man hates one thing, and that thing is not racists, people with their noses up, or criminals. This man hates drugs because they got him in so much trouble that he had to take his first plane to Ruby City to start a new life.

At the gates where passengers enter and depart, a young man with a normal physique arrives for people who are nineteen years old, wearing a green hat, a pair of green jeans, a T-shirt with a jacket that has military camouflage, a pair of sunglasses so as not to be recognized by someone Alex knows, even though he is tens of miles from his home, and carrying a suitcase containing likely change of clothes. Alex goes down the first steps to that huge airport and looks around for someone who should take him from there.

After almost five minutes of waiting, a "Logaros" car arrives, which stops in a taxi parking lot. The person who parked honks his horn and looks at Alex, who is coming towards him.

"Hello, cousin! How do you like Ruby City? " asks the driver who appears to be Alex's cousin, who managed to offer him a job at the business he runs in this city.

"It looks nice." Alex answers by opening the trunk of his cousin's car. "Thanks again for the help." "For nothing. After all, what is the family for? "

"You're right, too," Alex replies by closing the trunk after he puts his suitcase there.

Alex gets in the front seat of the car and lets his cousin drive the car to the destination he wants. While his cousin was driving, Alex looked around and noticed a lot of people on the streets dressed as gangsters in a video game called "GTA" and girls dressed as prostitutes.

"Cousin. What area are we in? "

"Ah ... We are in the area where gangsters and prostitutes live. Even though it is close to the airport, they do not cause any problems for newcomers. All they want is drugs, weapons, money, and sometimes cars, but rest assured, gangster attacks don't happen that often, you only rarely see gangsters fighting. "

"I have an idea what's with gangsters, but with prostitutes?"

"There are some gangs that use their women to prostitute themselves and make extra money for the gangs they are part of."

"It sounds horrible, man. How come the police don't get involved? "

"The police cannot get involved in such cases. He only gets involved when a war breaks out between gangsters or things like that. "

"I understand ... Somewhat."

"Good, because the school you did in Highwayo is not good for anything in this place. Here you get a job, a house, and a car, if you want more you have to work hard. "

"So I have to do pretty much everything you do in every city from the world, right?"

"Yeah."

"Good. Where are we going now? "

"At my house. You will only live with me until you can afford your own apartment.

"It will take you a while."

"It didn't last long. Even if you work as a pizza delivery person, they could even allow you to rent. The cheapest apartment I've ever heard has a rent of two hundred dollars a month. But I recommend you think of something more expensive. "

"Why? Is that the gangster area? "

"Yes."

"Good. As you say. "

After a few minutes of driving and silence, Alex and his cousin arrive at that apartment where the main character sleeps, relaxes, eats, cleans you and does your homework in the bathroom. Alex's cousin gets out of the car first, then Alex, who goes to the trunk and takes out the suitcase he came from Highwayo with, then goes after his cousin. He enters the block through the main door, then goes up two floors until he reaches the apartment where his cousin lives.

When Alex enters the apartment, he is stunned because the apartment where his cousin lives is like one that belongs to a rich man. This apartment has a football table, a shelf full of champagne, a flat-screen TV hanging from a wall in the living room, a rocket-powered computer, two bedrooms, a good bathroom, a kitchen, and even a balcony. When Alex saw the whole apartment, he asked his cousin who had taken his luggage and took him to Alex's room.

"Where do you afford such a thing?"

"I've been a manager at this successful pizzeria for over twelve years."

"I understand. But still, Chris, how do you have things that rich people would allow? "

Alex's cousin, Chris, sits down in the living room armchair, makes room for him, and then begins to explain to him how he got this luxury apartment. The story Chris told him didn't interest Alex not even one millimeter because his own cousin said the truth. Working as a valet for a rich old man and then quit your job after the old man dies and using all of your economies to buy a business seems really true for those days.

After a few minutes, Alex was looking around the house is going to live for a few days and then ask his cousin, who was about to leave his house.

"When I am going to work?"

"Ah! Tomorrow morning my cousin," says Chris to Alex. "Your room is located after mine and when you need to eat something, you can use the fridge or order something. Alright?"

"Alright," responds Alex to Chris when he left his own house to go the work.

When Chris has left the place, Alex turned around and goes to his room to relax for a few minutes, then after that, he decides to change his clothes and leave the house. When he left the house, he locked the door of his building and he takes the stairs until he will arrive at the ground floor of the building. When he arrived there, he saw a man who was sitting on the stairs and drinking beer from a can.

"Hey! W-Who are ya?" ask the guy who was probably drunk to Alex when he almost leaves the building.

"I... I live here with a friend of my family... Started today." I say to that guy who looked at Alex like he was a guy who has never seen, which is true.

"Oh... I see, then... Welcome to this city." says the guy who let the beer can down and raise a hand to Alex. "I am Louis. Nice to meet you."

"Alex," respond Alex to that guy called Louis shaking his hand.

"Well, Alex. You better be careful here. You never know when the danger is going to hit you."

"Yes. I'll remember that," says Alex who left the building.

"You better do!" said Louis to Alex who left the building to explore the city he is going to live in.
