Bernard looks at the message happily while trying to find another slime, which did not take long as he spotted a purple blob in a nearby bush. Using the same attacks that finished off the last one Bernard couldn't help being suprised that the purple slime was still alive.

Seeing that it was nearly dead, Bernard cautiously moved forward until he was close enough to strike. However the purple slime seemed to predict this and suddenly a purple aura surrounded it. The aura seemed to burn Bernard's flesh and make him feel intoxicated. Seeing his reaction the slime began retreating since it understood that this person could kill it easily if it tried keeping him in the range of its aura. The slime was using the aura to make Bernard not get close to it so that it could run away. With the pain finally lessened after the slime moved away Bernard's stomach growled as he picked up a rock and threw it at the slime.

Bernard collapsed the moment he killed it. His brain was barely functioning, and at some point during the fight his mind was completely overtaken by the thought 'FOOD' and at this moment he still was overwhelmed by that thought.

Bernard looked at the slime he just killed and crawled over slowly. By the time he reached it his hp was already dropped down to 48. "I hope this tastes good." He couldn't help but say out loud as he stared at the slimy and gooey slime. He plunged his face into it as he could not wait any longer. With vomit inducing texture, and litterally no flavor Bernard choked as he forced the slime down his throat with constant gagging and him trying to both make it go down and get it out of his mouth. He clawed at his throat, tried reaching into his mouth with his arm to pull it out. He managed to stop himself once it fell into his stomach. It wasn't because he couldn't stop it but because he was poisoned and fell to the ground.

Bernard who was feeling completely lifeless a moment ago suddenly felt a large burst of energy and felt changes happen to his body. All of his body hair fell off,(not including head hair) and his whole body started to shrink. His cock shrunk to the point where it no longer existed, and his previous large build shrunk into one more resembling a young girl. The clothes he/she was wearing almost fell off because of the drastic change in size. The last change was that his hard skin and strong muscles turned into soft skin and nonexistent muscles. A previously 6'4" tall man shrunk into a 4'3" tall young looking wolf girl with dark blue hair. Bernard looked at their body, while it may look feminine at just a glance Bernard recognized that it was neither gender. Bernard was mildly disapointed before realizing he/she was now fully their own person. Now fully energized from the transformation Bernard didn't need to check to realize that the previously low stats were refilled to their peak. Bernard looked down at the clothes that practically fell off, beginning to tie knots in them so that they stayed on.
Bernard began searching for a slime to kill to finish the quest. It only took an hour to hunt 3 slimes and luckily they were all just normal level 1 green slimes. With the finishing blow the rewards from the final slime appeared.
