Setting up camp

(Unknown planet - Night time)

"There were plants underground!?", a look of shock was drawn on Sek's face but it died as soon as it appeared. "Huh, who would've thought."

The once vast desert was now a partially dense forest filled with strange plants. There was something awkward about the environment at that time though. No single animal was in sight.

It was as if we were in a system ruled by plants and plants only.

[Dzilaiza: Life form scan complete. Plant species; Litzizi. Nocturnal alien plants]

"Huh, so they only come out at night", Sek calmly scratched his chin. "Dzilaiza, what class do these aliens fall under."

[Dzilaiza: Class A]

Class A?

Per the order given by Sek, it seemed like this was the lowest class. Did it mean that they were completely harmless?

But then, if that was the case... what exactly was that class S alien we were warned about?

Sek let out a brief sigh, "So we're safe, I can assume."

"Still, we should be on guard", I suddey blurted out. "We know nothing of these lands."

"Hmm?", he lifted an eyebrow. "Well, I suppose so."

The lights from the device in his right ear faded as Sek continued walking down an unknown path.

Did he really know where he was going?

Or was he just going to walk all over the planet till the time limit was reached?

"The aim of this training is to test our survival skills, right?", his eyes constantly swept around his surroundings. "We'll have to set up camp then, I guess."

Setting up camp huh

Sigh, it was getting a bit annoying. Sek didn't seem to pay attention to certain important things.

Before setting up any camp, the selected area must be clear of enemies or at least a basic topography of the area should be known.

Dzilaiza was going to scan the entire planet and that would take two days so ensuring our current safety was the best at that point.

In addition to safety, one would need a nearby source of water and food depending on how long that place is to serve as a camp for.

The sad thing though, is that the entire area was filled with plants and plants only. No animal existed. Maybe there could be some source of water somewhere since it was a plant planet or something.

"Where are we gonna get water or food from?", my voice snapped Sek from his thinking state.

"Uh- Well, I haven't sensed any alien beasts for some strange reason but we should be able to find water somewhere beneath the surface or something", Sek replied. "Or instead... Dzilaiza, can you locate any water reserves around us?"

[Dzilaiza: Affirmative. There's a pool of water a 100 metres due north. It's source is unknown however]

"Great!"

Bad!

It was an unknown source of water! Who knows, maybe it was a trap to lure us in and take our lives!

Sek was being way too carefree in such a situation.

"Umm, don't you think it's a bit strange?", I cut off his cheerful mood. "I mean, it's source is unknown. It could be a tra-"

"Pfft, I doubt it", Sek interrupted and kept moving in the direction Dzilaiza gave.

After a few minutes of walking through the ominous forest, a small opening suddenly came into view.

A patch of grass surrounded a small pool of water.

With all honesty, it looked completely creepy!

"Great! Storage cube.", a grin formed on Sek's face as he pulled out an orb from his floating cube. "Now we just need lights and we're set!"

Nothing good was going to come out of all this. I could sense it within me... we were definitely being watched.

Sek placed the orb device on the patch of grass and pressed an inconspicuous button on its underside. The device then lit up and brightened up the area.

"Finally", he took me by the sceathe and placed me partially into the ground in a vertical position.

After doing that, he made some light stretches and then sat down with legs crossed.

"We have about 9 to 8 hours before dawn", Sek yawned. "Of course, I'm not sleeping yet. Anything can jump out from nowhere."

"You're being awfully relaxed though", my body began to glow as it automatically absorbed energy from the moon.

A look of slight confusion appeared on his face, "Really? I don't think so. I'm a hundred percent ready for anything."

I sighed inwardly.

How was I going to kill his attitute before it killed him?

I'm pretty sure he jumped into battles without a single plan in mind.

...

Minutes of silenced passed as we both turned our attention to other things. Sek quitely watched the starry sky whike I focused on gathering as much energy as possible.

"Dzinu", Sek quietly called out.

"Yes?"

"Do you ever miss the times you spent as a human?"

I was quite taken aback by his question since I never expexted something like that at that time.

"I don't know", I replied. "Why do you ask?"

He suddenly sat up and moved closer to me, his face inches from my body. Curiousity sparked within his eyes in some kind of jovial way.

When was the last time I saw him like that again?

"I just wanted to know a bit about your past", he sat back with a confident smirk. "Tryin' to know ma pal better."

"Wow, really?", my voice rose a bit and then fell at that instant. "No."

"Ack-", Sek grabbed his chest. "Ouch."

Remembering the past was one of the things I forced myself not to do, let alone to talk about it.

It was nice of Sek to want to know more about the human me... but that side of me died the instant my soul was transferred to the legendary sword.

My attention landed on the heart-stricken Sek and I felt myself plumet into the darkest depths of guilt.

His face only got me falling deeper by the second!

I didn't want to talk about it at all!

Maybe...

"Fine", I began. "I'll let you in on a bit of my memories but then, I won't be speaking."

"Yes!", he shot both arms into the air. "Wait, what do you mean by you won't be speaking?"

A glint of excitement grew evident in my voice, "You'll be seeing it as if you were there... like what you did for me back at cell city."

Sek placed his fingers on his chin, "You're talking about the time where I had you learn a bit of history?"

"Indeed", I replied. "In addition to that, you're about to learn how to access the moon realm at will. The past visits have been because of your frequent non-stable mental states."

"Sheesh, you didn't have to stress on the mental state part", he stared at me expressionless.

It was of huge importance for my wielder to know everything about me. From energy regulations to traversing the plane of reality into the moon realm.

Maybe it was about time I started teaching him a few things.

"Alright. In order to access the moon realm freely, you'll have to clear your mind of evrything and leave only your senses on the outside", I began. "You'll also have to maintain a physical contact with me."

With his eyes closed, Sek slowly started taking in deep breaths as he gently placed his palm onto my body.

"Now, allow your aura to leak-"

*Flash!*

Large blue flames suddenly burst out of Sek with an intense force!

"Don't let all of it out!"

"Oh, sorry", sweat ran down the side of his face.

The aura then quieted down and were nothing more than just cinders.

"Goodness", I sighed. "Direct those tiny sparks towards me."

(Moon Realm)

Right after giving him the final instruction, I cut my external vision and immediately returned to the shrine's interior.

I then stood up from my meditating position and made my way into the vast expanse which contained nothing more than an ominous blue moon and an extensive body of water.

*Splash!*

A towering torrent of water blasted into the air until Sek's figure came into view.

He did it!

"Well, that wasn't so hard now was it?", I grinned and then made my way to him.

Sek smiled all of a sudden, "Mhm, not hard at all."

"Why are you smiling like that?", an emotion of quick boredom popped up on my face. "You haven't seen me in human form before?"

"What? N-No", he chuckled. "You look like some kinda cute edge lord... even though you're completely blue."

I sighed while gesturing for him to follow me, "Shall we?"
