Chapter 87

Two young men were having a hard time under the sun in an open field. One was standing while trying to stabilize his breathe while the other one was sitting on the dusty ground without minding if his clothes will get dirty or not. That one was more in a dreadful situation than the former.

"Russel, that's enough. Stand up now." Gian said in a low voice. He was trying to conserve any energy let on his body.

"No more... Just go..." Russel said in a whispering voice.

"Stupid. How can I leave you when this rope was tied on our waists?"

"Then let us... forget about lunch and sit... here with... me..."

Gian stared at his friend who looked like a dying fish out of the water. He was sweating bullets and it dripped down continuously on the dusty ground. Even his training clothes were already drenched. Gian never thought that his stamina was greater than him.
