King Johannes was standing alone while looking at the opened wide window inside his office. There was an unopened bottle of wine and two wine glasses on top of his table. The temperature inside was cold but King Johannes thought that his office felt heavy and stuffy.

No stars were decorating the skies tonight. The half-moon hanging in the middle of dark skies gave him a subtle feeling of guilt in his heart. King Johannes remembered the expression of the young man who confronted him earlier today. It was a mixed expression of shock, hurt, vulnerability, and despair.
