After the meeting with the Senates, King Johannes asked a knight to call his sons inside his office. When Russel and Gian entered the office, they saw that the King is not alone. Marquis Cres Val was also inside waiting for their arrival. When the marquis saw Gian again, he let out a sigh of relief before hugging him. He already knew that the princes were safe but seeing them in person put the marquis at ease.

King Johannes asked Russel and Gian to take a seat and join them for their afternoon tea. The King summarized the content of the meeting to his sons. When King Johannes told them they will be properly introduced to the whole kingdom after the execution, he saw the small pout on Russel's lips and the helplessness in Gian's eyes.

"Do not be like that. You two deserved it. In fact, I should be apologizing to both of you for involving you in our problems."

"Oh no. You do not have to apologize. Russel and I can clearly understand the situation." Gian said.
