The Grey

"sir, the Grey are attacking Tiantang, the federation fleet is holding the attack with the help of the Tiantang defense system, but I think that you know, the Grey delivering more and more forces to Tiantang, do you want to engage with the alpha?", Victor asks john.

"yes, set course with full throttle toward Tiantang, set the defense system on high alert, call the 6th fleet to battle, also keep track on the command ship of that fleet, I want to interrogate our fellow Greys.", john commands victor

"setting course to Tiantang full throttle, expected travel time is two hours, all weapons are armed and ready for combat", victor announces.

"who is the Grey?" Eva asks.

"the Zang of my dimension, they are controlled the space around earth before the federation, they made contact with earth governments in 2022 tried to turn us into their subordinate race in exchange for giving control of the nearby solar systems,

When the federation formed they didn't like that we developed an FTL drive that is more faster than theirs and also I didn't agree to their terms and to be clear they attacked us first I said that we want to co-exist in peace and want to be independent but they retaliated by trying to attack mars without knowing the scale of our capabilities and from that it escalated for the federation destroying 20 grey military outpost and even going to battles deep inside their territory, the war continued until a negations that held by the Orenian, I myself managed the federation side of the negations and I got all of what I demanded, the 150 light years surrounding earth, and that the federation stop destroying their planets, the sad part is that this was only temporary as they try from time to time to attack a colony or outpost by surprise, and every time they say it some rouge group, or some other lie, the only reason the federation doesn't engage in full scale war with them is that that conflict could escalate to galactic scale and that a headache we don't want, so meanwhile I am waiting until they piss off some other race and we will join in help.", john replies.

"why you call them the grey?", Eva asks.

"very simple, they are their color is grey and they were behind of a lot of human abductions , it was the code name given them by the US government in the fifties, I just made that name formal, they call themselves the Viek, but even the other civilizations in the galaxy given them nick-names, so their name doesn't even matter", john answers.

"sir you need to see it, they have a ship setting course toward the sun of Tiantang in very high velocity, my calculation say that they are trying to make the star go supernova, the only counter measure is a use of an anti-matter missile, do you give permission?", victor asks john.

"what other choice we have, use it, and get all manned ships outside the explosion range, and set the artificial magnetic field of the colony to the max, and try to land as most unmanned ships on the planet before the magnetic pulse get to them and get forces from the other Tiantang system ring ready for deployment after the magnetic pulse passes the planet orbit, those basters thinking they know that a pulse like that can disable a lot of systems.", john replies.

"the missile hit the grey ship, we lost 70 percent of the unmanned forces but all manned craft are fine", victor announces.

"victor, use all power available on the ship except life support for the command room, get us the fast as possible, and arm all the weaponry", john commands.

"Eva get ready it is going to get interesting, so put a seatbelt because the gravity filed, we be unstable for now", john tells Eva while putting seat belt on himself.

And then Eva feels the gravity change and the warp space getting more elongated, and before she can comprehend she sees the battlefield in the view window, the battle looks more harsh then any battle in her earth history, now she understands why john defeated the Zang fleet so fast, the Zang are no match to the enemies of john earth.

'The Alpha' engages the grey fleet, and after an hour of battle as it seems the battle Is going toward their side, a Huge fleet appears and for Eva surprise it is have the symbol of the federation on it.

" the commander of the 6th battalion want to open a channel", Victor notifies john, "open it, hello general Wong", john replies as a channel opens, "hello Mister president, can we take matters from here?", the general asks, "take care of the remnants and catch the command ship and bring it to Tiantang capital, I want to interrogate the commander of that fleet.", john commands the general,

"we will follow your orders; do you need an escort?", general Wong asks ,"no, we will meet at Xingcheng (Tiantang capital) military headquarters", john replies and closes the channel.

"it seems, you weren't needed that much in this battle, so why we came here?", Eva asks.

"first to show power, secondly I wanted to interrogate a grey general for a lot of time, last time the command ship was destroyed before I could give an order to capture it and don't worry Tiantang is interesting as Tyson and if I could wrap things fast maybe will manage to get there in time", john tells to Eva.

As they approach Tiantang, john and Eva enter 'the explorer', and start descend towards the planet surface.

Meanwhile a grey ship approaches a broken scout and takes it inside and warps away from Tiantang system.
