Arrogance

"what do you want, human", asks the head of the Lomonian grand council as john opens a channel to speak with him.

"first I want to send my condolences for the horrible attack on one of your planets and I want to say it wasn't us", john says in his most polite voice, knowing that a harsh respond will come from the Lomonian head councilor.

"that what you say, but the evidence shows otherwise", Lomonian head councilor responds and shows john a photo of a broken scout, john recognizes the scout, it was one of the scouts that were destroyed in the attack on Tiantang, "It is a setback, it was abducted by the Veik, we wouldn't attack you, why attack a planet 3000 light years from our territory", john replies trying to reason with the Lomonian head councilor.

"silence, you humans are a new race, we don't let your mind games to trick us, we didn't find any other civilization ships in the attacked planet except yours, you will pay for this foolish act", the Lomonian head councilor yells at john.

"I don't want a fight that no one can win, so I am willing to pay tribute for the planet If needed" john says while sending an offer to the Lomonian council,

"your payment will be the demise of you and your fellow Orenians, no one attacks us and gets out from it", the Lomonian head councilor replies to john's offer angered.

"listen to me, as one leader to another, we both know that war will only bring destruction for both sides, especially since both sides have weaponry capable for destroying planets and even entire stars", john explains, knowing how this war is going to look.

"you needed to think about the consequence before you attacked one of our planets, you and your allies will feel the might of the lomonian empire as the Bliq and their allies felt before, I don't need to add anything more", the Lomonian head councilor yells and closes the Channel.

"what arrogant fool, he literally prefers a war over some kind of deal, and the Lomonian saw what we are capable, this war will bring only suffering", john says angered to worried Eva, she herself can only imagine the consequences of such war, "they are more arrogant than any Zang I encountered" Eva says back to john.

"they think because they the most powerful civilization, they can do things like they want, they see the other Races as savage that they can use or exploit, not as equals, and this arrogance, they don't see that the grey using them", john adds and takes a breath, "victor it is time for plan B, did you found the file I asked for in the grey network?", john asks the AI.

"I didn't find the file itself, but I found out where they are storing it, on the offline servers in their command base on Veik prime". Victor replies while showing a map of Veik prime.

"so, we are going to Viek prime and that what I can call a foolish act", John says with a smile.
