site-14 part 2 Final Part!!!

I climbed down the ladders towards the 50th floor as there is another elevator there going down towards level 100. When I reached the 50th floor, I forced open the elevator doors. Surprisingly I don't smell any lingering blood in the air or see blood when I was walking down the hallway. I followed the path Ava presented to me. But I always feel like I'm being watched. I'm even more confused as Ava tooled me that only android can come on the 50th floor. When I was walking down the hallway following the glowing line on the floor toward the elevator, I found something interesting on the way. I found Dr. Shou's office, without a second thought, I went in to find anything about SCP-001. I found Dr. Shou's research on SCP-001 or what he called the Marker in his study. He pointed out that the marker was the one who jumpstarted human evolution. Dr. Shou's research went into detail about how we could use genetic modification to make super soldiers. But what caught my attention was there is more than one marker that is hidden away in some Illuminate base, I asked Ava to make scans of the file so I could present this to SCP. while reading through Dr. Shou's research I couth something exciting the weakness of The Marker. In Dr. Shou's research, it went into detail about the Marker parts being melted off by accident when introduced to a high level of heat. When I was thinking this, I remembered that the fusion reactor is on the 100th floor.

Joseph: "Ava, could you trigger an explosion on the fusion reactor." I said with excitement in my voice

Ava: [yes, host, I could trigger a meltdown forcing the reactor to explode, but we need to be quick and get out after I triggered the collapse.]

As she said that, I felt a presence behind me.

???: "ah, TS #310, you're finally awake after this long."

When I heard the dread voice, my hands started shaking. I put my hand on to my Deagle on my hip. I slowly turned to face the man that made my life a living hell.

Dr. Shou: "oh… not answering, huh. Just like the time I operated on…" Not letting him finish his words, I shoot him with a shaky hand. But instead of killing him, my shot went through him. And I finally realized what it is; it's a delusion, I created in my head. Then I heard the illusion talk to me.

Dr. Shou: "you were never a threat to the Great Marker and me, your just a lab rat that escaped from his captors." he said before disappearing in front of me.

Before I could think about what just happened, I heard alarms going off left and right. And I listened to the intercom.

{INTURDER ALERT, INTRUDER ALERT, SOMEONE HAS FIRED A FIREARM IN DR. SHOU OFFICE IMMEDIATE ATTENTION IS ADVICE.}

While the intercom in repeating those words, I heard turrets and deactivated armed bots being activated. Knowing that I f@cked up, I ran towards the elevator and sometimes fired my gun at the robots that are in my way. Finally, reaching the elevator, I, head down towards the 100th floor with conviction and anger in my eyes. I looked up the screen, which tells you which level you are on. I waited for about a minute before I see the 100th floor on the screen. I smiled evilly at the elevator door as it opened.

Joseph: "I'm coming after you, f@cker." I said while reloading my gun.

When I left the elevator, I was greeted with five Necromorph. I switched my weapon to my tactical pump-action shotgun and shot the enemy near me, causing the Necromorph to be shredded in half. Not wanting to get caught by the other Necromorph, I switched my target to the one that has more limbs as they are harder to fight and shot twice at their upper half to make sure they don't get up and to be the safe side I stomping on the remaining body parts. I used my bayonet on the Necromorph that looked like they are still close to a human shape. After killing all five Necromorph, I continued walking down the hallway and finally seeing a window. What I viewed on the other side of the window was a red two-story-high helix-shaped artifact with strange symbols around its side. And I saw Dr. Shou willingly converge with a giant Necromorph. Dr. Shou turned his head at the window I was looking through and gave me a crazed looked. Then started to merge with the giant Necromorph. I asked Ava what to do to activate Meltdown on the Fusion reactor.

Ava: [host, you just need to head toward the fusion reactor.] as she said that glowing blue light directed me towards the reactor room. When I entered the room, there was a giant glass facing the Marker. Not caring about the artifact, I went to a nearby computer and asked Ava what to do next.

Joseph: "Ava, what do I need to do to trigger the meltdown."

Ava: [host, I'm currently hacking the terminal wirelessly; all you need to do is stay in this room] as she said that, I felt a significant presence coming towards us. I looked out the giant window but was blown away from the window. After rolling a few steps back away from the window, I saw half Dr. Shou's body on top of a worm-like Necromorph.

Dr. Shou: "ooh... Your still alive little rat." he said with an amused smile on his face

With a shaky hand, I pointed my gun at him, showing no fear on my face. But deep down, I'm still suffering from that day as if it happened just yesterday.

When Dr. Shou saw my shaking hand when I pointed my gun at him, he burst into crazed laughter.

Dr. Shou: "That day still lingering in the back of your mind. TS #310 your just a pest that needed to be exterminated, so just lie down there and accept death." he said as he swung one of his giant tentacles at me.

I rolled out of the way and tried shooting at Dr. Shou's upper body, thinking that it is the weakness of the Necromorph. But to no surprised, the lost limbs I shot off from his body grew back. But when he was building his lost arms again, I saw the worms. Many hearts started to glow yellow. Using my commonsense, I decided to shoot at one of the centers of the Necromorph, to no surprised the Necromorph screamed in pain. The Necromorph started swinging more as fast as it can, making it hard for me to dodge and shoot at the same time, but eventually got all of the hearts of the Necromoph. As that was happening Dr. Shou was also screaming in pain as I shoot out one by one all his vital organs. Dr. Shou and the beast fell in front of me, looking at me with terror. Knowing that I just beat my worst nightmare, I pointed my gun at his forehead and said my last word.

Joseph: "My name is not TS #310, My name is Joseph Maiava, THE DEVIL you have created." after saying my part, I pulled the trigger of my desert eagle, ending Dr. Shou's life. After that, I heard something beautiful on the intercoms.

{FUSION REACTOR GOING INTO MELTDOWN PREPARE TO EVACUATE I REPEAT FU…}

I went toward Dr. Shou and grabbed level 5 access card, and ran towards the elevator. But before I could reach the elevator, I felt something coming right at me from behind I tried to dodge it, but unfortunately, my reaction is too slow. The worms claws cut off part of my left arm, leaving behind my biceps attached to my shoulder. I screamed in pain as I hold on to my left shoulder.

Dr. Shou: "You think you're tough, you little shit, your just a pest; just lie down and die." he said while regenerating parts of his head that I have blown off.

Hearing Dr. Shou's word, I stand up hold up my hand as if in holding a pistol grip, a gun materialized out of thin air.

Joseph: "Ava, switched to DESTROY DECOMPOSE."

Ava: {affirmative switching modes DESTROY DECOMPOSE now active, happy hunting} as she said that my movable gun parts switching around making the barrel more full and the gun became much brighter. Without hesitation, I held down the trigger and looked at Dr. Shou with dead eyes.

Joseph: "you don't get it, I am the Devil that will send you back in hell, don't come back ever again." with the gun fully charged and ready it released a ball of energy towards Dr. Shou and everything around it. I heard Dr. Shou's screams as he is melting away from the ball of energy I fired.

I turned around and headed toward the elevator. I did not bother patching up my lost limbs as I don't have time. After a minute in the bin, I ran towards the gate, not fighting the Necromorphed that are chasing me. After losing an exceeding amount of blood from losing my left arm, I know I am too weak from fighting them. When I finally reached my destination, I scanned the card and waited for the gate to open slowly. But before I could get out, I heard an explosion. Knowing I might not make it I forcefully squeezed my self out of the gate and continued running at the nick of time I listened to a big bang behind me because of the force of the explosion it forced me fly forward and hit face down on the snow. Because of soo, much blood lost due to losing an arm; I fell unconscious.

Joseph: "I hope I don't die from this." as I said before, drifting to sleep.
