Oni Part 2 Final

---Lara pov---

I dodge the samurai's swing, then went towards his back and started shooting it's back, which hurt him. But he suddenly swiped his club sideways, which made it hard to dodge. I was thrown to the wall, which hurts my back. I spat out the blood in my mouth and stood back up again.

But the giant samurai didn't let me rest and started charging at me ready to body-slam me to the wall. I quickly evaded him and ran further away from him. But suddenly, he picked up a giant rock and threw it at me. The stone hit me, which made me roll on the ground.

Lara: "Shit, I need a way to get at his back." is said while looking up the cloudy sky. I was going to get up, but I saw the giant samurai about to swing his club down at me. I then rolled away from my previous location.

I then quickly stood up and saw that I was behind him and started shooting his back. It got to its knees when I shot him a bunch of times. I went up towards his head and used my climbing ax pry its helmet off.

I successfully got his helmet off from his head. But before I could shoot his head, he hit me away. He then started growling loudly, which summoned more storm guards to come and aid him.

I turned around and saw that one of the storm guards was behind me. I turned around, ready to shoot the storm guard that snuck up behind me, but something hard hit my back. I was flying again and hit the wall.

I was breathing heavily while looking up at the sky. I was going to stand up, but suddenly I saw the giant storm guard lifting his club to hit me. I tried to move my body, but before I could do so, he immediately swung his club at me, which didn't get me time to move.

Everything slowed down as I watched the club come down towards my head. I tried to move my head slightly, but before I could do so, I heard two metals clashing with each other. I looked up again and saw the person I thought to be dead, blocking the club with his prosthetic hands.

Lara: "Joseph… you're alive," I said while holding on to my tears as his prosthetic arm broke from the club's force.

He then grabbed a blood-red hunting knife out of thin air. Then stabbed the storm guard head. The giant storm guard tired to push Joseph away from him, but Joseph wouldn't budge.

The giant Storm guard didn't give up and repeatedly started hitting Joseph, who looked more bloody as the storm guard hit him. As more blood is spilled, Joseph suddenly surrounds himself with swords and starts individually stabbing the Giant Storm Guard with his bloody sword.

Each red blade plunged the storm guard while Joseph just stood there, taking all the hits. It didn't take long when the giant Storm guard final went to its knees. Joseph just stared at him and cut off his head.

Joseph looked at me with his murderous look on his eyes, which I cringed away. I then saw his face change color when he saw me afraid of him and turn his head away from me. I ran towards him and hugged his back.

Lara: "I am not going to shoot you down with another arrow��� I promise," I said worriedly at him while he just started coughing out loud. All of a sudden, his body became heavy and started falling towards me. "Joseph! Joseph! Are you okay.." I grabbed hold of him and laid him down on the ground. He started coughing blood while trying to talk to me.

Joseph: "Don't worry about me, I just need to rest for a bit," he said while pinching my cheeks and giving me a smile on his face. "Besides, you have to save sam." I looked at him and reluctantly left him, but not before saying that I will come back for him.

Lara: "When I save Sam, I will come back for you." I said while leaving him lying on the cold hard floor. I gave him one finally scanned, but he just gave me an assuring smile on his face. I looked at this and left him there.

---Joseph pov---

I looked at the cloudy sky and thought about my burning back that Lara just hugged. Even though I am lying on a cold floor, my back feels hot. I looked at my bionic arms and saw that it couldn't be used anymore, so I took it off.

I looked at myself to assess how much damage I sustained during the fight. I saw that my wounds are quickly healing, even the scars on my chest that Lara shot. I looked at this and sighed and lay my head on the ground again. I then closed my eyes to rest for a minute.

Joseph: "Finally, stop being stubborn and healed me." I said in my head, which I didn't get a reply. I thought about and just let it go; we all have our insecurities about ourselves. "When I get back home, I need more therapy sessions with Dr. Lenna Varen."

All of a sudden, I heard an explosion where Lara went to right now. I quickly opened my eyes and stood up. I looked around and saw the weather was clearing up. I then slowly walked towards the ritual platform and saw a burnt corps on a pedestal and Lara holding onto Sam.

While I was walking towards them, I heard radio chatter on Lara's radio, which surprised Lara and grabbed her radio off her back to listen to it a bit better.

???: {this is mage one from FoxHound Aircraft Carrier. I am here to evacuate the remaining people of the Endurance report.} Lare was going to ask them for help, but I grabbed the radio off her hand. Lara looked at me in confusion and about to ask me why I took the receiver from her. But before she could ask the question, I was already talking to the radio.

Joseph: "This is General of the SCP, Joseph Maiava, requesting for evac ASAP." Lara looked at me in surprise. She was about to open her mouth when suddenly we heard a fighter jet passing overhead. Thankfully the fighter jet wasn't breaking the sound barrier, or our eardrums would have burst.

Mage One: {This is mage one, it's good to have you back, Boss, if you didn't come back anytime soon, the little princess would have cried until her eyes were red.} I looked up and saw the jet do some extreme stunts then circle back to my direction. {We will be sending a helicopter to retrieve everyone... It's good to have you back again, Sir.}

I then put down the radio and handed back to Lara, who has her mouth wide open, surprised at what she just saw. She shook her head and looked at me suspiciously.

Lara: "You better explain to me who you are, Mr. General..."
