As I put the jacket on, I see the others changing their clothes. Azeroth had black long sleeve with cuts in the back for his wings. Blankk is wearing a fancy black and white suit. Warren just threw on some loose shirts and pants and scratches his knee with his foot. Vex quickly throws on a white shirt and grey pants. The store owner waves kindly as we leave.
As we get a few feet from the store entrance I release the spell. I quickly speak up.
"So, where was the woman you were talking about, Azeroth?"
I ask as he looks around.
"I don't know where she is sadly, but I know she works for coin. Maybe if we throw out a net with promise for coin, we could catch her?"
Azeroth says as I nod.
"First thing though, we need to make Warren and Vex official members of the guild."
I say as everyone nods except Warren.
"And just to make sure, I'll be able to leave the guild once this is all over?"
He asks as I nod.
"Of course, once we terminate Wolfpack, you are free to do what you please."
I reply as he nods.
"Is there a Guild Association outpost here? Or will we need to go back to Lestney?"
I ask as Warren laughs.
"There's a Guild Association outpost in just about every city."
He says while chuckling.
"Then, do we know where it is?"
I mumble while looking around. Everyone looks around while Warren chuckles.
"I saw it. Follow me."
He says as he starts walking away. We all quickly follow him as he walks through town. I notice several guards watching us closely, almost glaring at us. As we round a large wooden building, we see a Guild Association outpost ahead of us.
"There it is."
Vex mumbles as we walk closer towards it. As if out of thin air, a woman appears in front of us. She has short messy black hair, leather armor with a metal piece on her chest, and red markings on her face. On her left shoulder is a crow watching us intently.
"Hello, you must be the outsiders the town is up in arms about."
She says with a smile as she places her hands on her hips and looks at each of us.
"So if you five are in a guild, that would make you the leader."
She says while pointing to me. I step forward and clench my fist.
"You'd be correct, so who are you?"
I ask as she smiles.
"All you need to know is, I'm watching you guys."
She says as she steps to the side and waves towards the Guild Association.
"Also, someone you're looking for is in there."
She says before vanishing into thin air.
With her parting words, I dash towards the outpost, arriving in mere seconds. As I push the door open, I see a man sitting in the floor by a wolf. As he opens his eyes and looks at me, he sighs.
"Oh no, more drama."
He mumbles to himself as he waves at me.
"Yea, yea, I know you killed my third in charge, but currently I'm taking a break from paperwork. If you'd be so kind, do whatever you need, then get out of my hair."
He says lazily as he leans back. His wolf yawns and throws its tail over him.
"After all you took from me, you think I'll let you walk out of here!"
I yell as I start to run towards him. Before I can take a step, a blade appears at my throat. I look over slowly to see him standing there with his eyes closed in mid yawn.
"Kid, listen."
He says as he pulls his dagger down.
"I have to take responsibility for my guild everyday. They hunt, that's all most of them want to do. Now, I came here as soon as I got word one of my underlings died here. I will say you have a lot of talent, but you aren't special. My idiotic underlings kill families almost weekly."
He says as I take a step back. I feel a bead of sweat roll down my face as he walks back over to his wolf, eyes still closed.
"So I'm assuming you're the Guild Leader of Wolfpack? What is your score?"
I ask as he opens one eye and looks at me.
"My name is Alesti, and its rude to ask someone of their score. But I take pride in having a score of ten thousand."
He says as he closes his eye again.
10,000?! There's no way! What are his stats?! What could his abilities be?!
I feel another bead of sweat roll down my face as I jump from a hand touching my shoulder. I see Blankk shaking his head.
"Some day, but not today."
He whispers as I walk with them up to the main desk.
My score is only 2,010 while his is 10,000. I'd have to level up another 80 times just to pass him by slightly, no there has to be other ways to get attribute points.
I think to myself as I see everyone following a woman down the hallway. I look back over my shoulder to see the man asleep on his wolf already.
And who was that woman we saw outside. Is she with Wolfpack?
I think to myself as I follow everyone down the hall. As I enter the room they entered, I see them holding their hands to the crystal ball.
As they pull their hands away, I see the symbol on their palms. Vex laughs slightly.
"This is so cool."
He whispers to himself as I walk out of the room and back towards Alesti. I quickly walk up to him and tap my foot against his boot. As he slightly opens his left eye again, I stare down at him.
"I will defeat you one day, but there must be another way to acquire attribute points besides leveling up."
I say quietly as he laughs and stands up.
"How long have you been fighting and adventuring?"
He asks with a smile as I think to myself.
"No more than three days."
I say as he eyes widen and he takes a step back.
"No wonder I've been advised to kill you. Your growth is unprecedented, but I'll give you a beginner tip."
He says as I nod.
"Before you tell me this, just know this may lead to your death."
I say as he smirks.
"I welcome death, thousands have fought me, thousands have failed to take my life. But, dungeons give bonuses attribute points based on what class dungeon it is. D-Class gives one point for completion, C-Class gives five points, B-Class gives fifty points, A-Class gives one hundred points, and S-Class gives five hundred points. There exists a single X-Class dungeon, but I've never heard of anyone even defeating the first creature inside."
He says as I nod.
"Thank you."
