Sister's Feud

Min Jae was completely dumbfounded by the sudden turn of events. He was chatting with his favorite author for a minute and then suddenly, bluebell turned out to be a lady with the same face as his wife. He kept staring at Shu Hwa while his head tried to wrap around this situation.

'What is happening? Who is she? and Why does she have the same face as my wife? And how come my wife know this person? '

Eun Hye saw her husband frowned and she turned to glare at her sister, warning her to shut her mouth.

Shu Hwa pretended to not see her glare as she tilted her head and asked, "What did you think I was going to do, Unni?"

"Ha!! I get it..." Shu Hwa went closer to her and whispered in her ear, "Did you think I was going to damage your plastic face?"

Shu Hwa stressed the word 'plastic'. Eun Hye gritted her teeth as she watched her sister smirked at her. She couldn't believe that her angelic sister had turned into a devil now. She could almost visualize a devil standing behind her sister and laughing at her.

Eun Hye clutched her dress tightly. "How -"

Shu Hwa interjected immediately, "How come I'm back? Well, what can I say? I left something of mine here and now some bitch thinks that it's theirs. Isn't that funny, sister?"

Eun Hye glared at her sister's hidden mockery. She was about to lose her cool when she noticed the fans surrounding them. She turned around and looked at all the people whispering as they pointed their fingers at the two of them.

"Why do they have the same face?"

"Are they twins? Is our bluebell, the twin sister of Shu Hwa?"

A sharp glint passed through Eun Hye's eyes as she turned to her sister and smiled sweetly, exactly how Shu Hwa did in the past. "Eun Hye, it's been so long. I was disappointed when I found out you couldn't make it to my wedding."

Shu Hwa narrowed her eyes towards her sister's lies. Shu Hwa had not even received an invitation and looked at her going on about how disappointed she had been when Shu Hwa couldn't attend the wedding.

Shu Hwa glared at her as she curled her hands into a fist. She badly wanted to beat her sister for snatching everything from her. And, here she had the nerve to ask her why?!

Suddenly, Eun Hye nodded her head in an understanding manner as she said, "Well, it's understandable that you couldn't come as you were still recovering from the surgery. You didn't want to let the public know that you had a surgery just so you could be like me."

Shocks and gasps filled the hall as everyone turned to look at their favorite author. They couldn't believe that Bluebell had gone for a plastic surgery just to look like her sister.

Min Jae scrunched up his eyebrows. He couldn't understand why his chest throbbed. He looked at her and right at that moment, Shu Hwa glanced at him.

'Those pair of brown eyes. Why is it so familiar?'

Shu Hwa smirked. She turned to everyone, "My dear fans, do you think your beloved author would go through such a painful task of getting a surgery just so I could be beautiful? Do you really think that I would waste so many days for that instead of writing new stories for you?"

Shu Hwa's words immediately drew a series of laughter from her fans. They nodded her head in agreement.

"That's right! Our bluebell loves to write. She never skips a single day without an update."

"Yup! Remember that time when she was sick? She still updated even though she was running a high fever."

She then added, "In any case, why would I need to look beautiful when my job is just a mere writer? Do I get to eat with my face?"

Yet another round of laughter was ensued.

"Indeed! Why would Bluebell do a surgery with no reason?!"

"Yes, that's also my question!"

As more and more people pitched in their thoughts, Shu Hwa smiled at them gratefully and turned towards her sister who was chewing her lips in irritation.

Shu Hwa grinned. "My dear sister, I think the years have made you forget. Your age is getting on you."

"But nevertheless, I do miss you, my dear sister Shu Hwa." She stressed the last two words loudly.

Eun Hye flinched hearing Shu Hwa called her with that hateful name. She tried to force a smile at her but it turned out stiff. Then, Eun Hye watched as Shu Hwa approached her for a big hug. Upon holding her big sister, Shu Hwa whispered tenderly, "My dear sister, I see that you're getting comfortable with that face. But, it must be tiring pretending to be me all the time. So, don't worry! I'm here to help you tear down your mask."

Eun Hye tensed up. She tried to push her away, "You--"

"Shush...Shush... Sister, don't struggle and make my brother-in-law doubts you. Shouldn't you be the kind hearted soul who would never harm a fly?"

Eun Hye gulped. Shu Hwa let go of her and corrected her then, "Ah! that's wrong. You can't be a kind hearted soul who wouldn't hurt a fly because I've killed a mosquito. So sister, don't forget to act that part, okay?"

Eun Hye clenched her fists so tightly that she didn't even realize her nails were digging into her skin. Blood was starting to trickle down her skin.

Shu Hwa patted her shoulder and laughed, "Don't worry too much sister! You look at me like I'm gonna eat you. I'm not a cannibal. In fact, I'm here to have fun with you. Didn't you say you want to be an idol? Acting is a necessary skill yes? I'll hone it for you."

Shu Hwa smirked as she continued, "If you can pass my test, then you really have wasted the years by just sitting pretty at home. You should be a part of the entertainment industry."

Eun Hye closed her eyes, struggling to form a sentence. Despite that, she tried to push through. "What do you mean?"

Shu Hwa closed in once again and asked, "What do you think Min Jae's reaction will be if he realizes that he has married an IMPOSTER?"

Eun Hye flinched. She reflexively raised her hand while she shouted, "BITCH!!!"

Shu Hwa looked on coldly at the hand coming down on her. Her expression showed 'Ah...too bad you failed the first test.'

Eun Hye gasped when she felt the pressure on her wrist that stopped her from slapping Shu Hwa. She turned towards the owner to find a pair of puzzled eyes staring at her.

In that moment, Eun Hye instantly froze. She realized how impulsive she had acted just now. She cursed herself before she carefully said, "Honey, she was spouting nonsense. She was infuriating me."

Min Jae looked at his wife in bewilderment. He couldn't believe that his docile, calm wife just raised a hand against someone and at a public space too.

However, no matter what she was his wife. Thus, when he saw the pain in her eyes as the result of her younger sister's false accusation, Min Jae turned towards Shu Hwa angrily.

Yet again, as soon as Min Jae met that pair of brown eyes, there was a strong sense of familiarity. And the more he looked into them, the more they drew him in. There was even a shred of compassion lying deep within his heart as he gazed upon this woman.

He was indeed shocked to find out that his favorite author was none other than his wife's little sister, who also happened to have undergone a plastic surgery. Honestly, being a Bluebell fan all over these years, it was hard for him to not believe her words.

But this was his wife they were currently talking about. Eun Hye wouldn't do a plastic surgery for God's sake. He had stopped his wife by reflex just now but, that was it. He still believed her. So, he warned Shu Hwa, "I could sue you for fabrication."

Shu Hwa sighed as her eyes flashed in pain.

Min Jae couldn't understand why her eyes displayed such disappointment. However, it was soon concealed behind her dazzling smile.

"Ah, here we go. Ten minutes ago, you said you loved me. Praise me to heaven, yet now you betray me so easily. How heartbreaking. This is why I taught my readers to never trust love. It is too fragile," Shu Hwa chuckled derisively.

"This is not about love. I do respect your writing skill but not your conduct." Min Jae's eyes turned cold.

It did wreck Shu Hwa's heart seeing him like this but, she needed to stand her ground. After all, there were other people. She couldn't be weak now. "You're wrong. Love is the same," she said.

"Because you did it too once...and now twice," she muttered.

Min Jae was a bit taken aback. Perhaps Shu Hwa thought that her voice was already small enough but not for Min Jae sharp hearing, especially when he was standing in front of her.

"Well," Shu Hwa shrugged it off, "You can go ahead and sue me. In fact, I hope you will. It will save me some time then. Though the result may shock you."
