The siblings jogged slowly through the forest, their musical laughter weaving through the air around them. When one was close to stepping on a stone, or to tripping over a root, the object shifted aside or delved into the ground. The telltale point of their ears a dead give away to their race.
Do to the siblings laughter, it took them some time to notice that the forest had gone silent, once they noticed they came to a stand still. Shock mirrored perfectly in their Silver and green eyes. Not a heart beat after they stopped running, a black gash appeared in thin air before them. Beyond it a see if stars and multitudes of galaxies could be seen.
Curiosity getting the best of them, the siblings clasped hands and as if they were of one mind step up before the.... For no better word, dimensional fisure. In the next heart beat they vanish from the forest.
"What's going on Val?" The youngest of the siblings said, her voice still musical even with a trace of fear that could be heared.
"I don't know Holy, but I don't think we have anything to worry about. Where ever we are going, something Inside of me says it is where we are ment to be." Valoria says with a half smile, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.
What felt like to the an age had passed to the twins, streaks of light flying by all around them, a kaleidoscope of colors. Both of them thought that saw seens of events from other times, scenes of wars and long thought extinct creatures. When their feet settled light down in a grassy clearing. The sound of a sword slicing through the air could be heared not far away.
(Around the time the twins stepped into the dimentional fisure)
Having been awake for several hours already, Alister sat back on his hunches as the sky above began to brighten with the coming of the new day. His gleaming eyes, filled with an endless malstrom of emotions. Memories of loved ones dieing, being killed, and every happy memory he had of them, battled for dominance within him.. Though with how still he sat, very few would be able to tell. A silver mist momentarily enveloped him as he made the change once more, his ancient sword whistling through the air before the the tell tale mist of his shifting could fully clear.
As the sun topped the horizon, Adelith opened her eyes to see a very familiar sight. Alister gliding across the clearing, a black crystalian sword weaving a web of light through the air, countless silver balls of light bombarding him from ever direction. Yet not one could get past his defence and agility.
"Right back to your old ways aye?" she thought to herself, eyes bright with amusement as she continued to watch. the males pace increasing gradually until the blade he held became an indistinct black blur, forming a near seemly orb of light around him. Yet even as she watched, she could see the difference in him. The last she had seen Alister, this level of training wouldn't draw so much as a drop of sweat from him, yet the man before her glistened with it.
As Alister continued his training, Adelith felt a ripple pass through her domain. Her eyes widening as she turns to her right, to see the rare sight of a Dimensional Portal closing behind two elf twins. At the sight of them shock enveloped her, locker her muscles in place. Elves hadn't been seen in this world in ceturies, where hat they come from?
As if nothing had happened around him, Alister continued slashing apart the bullets of light shooting at him for near to half out later, where he suddenly drops to one knee driving his black hilt deep into the ground, with the sound of shattering glass the magic arrays that had been in constant motion, to fast for the eye to seen shattered canceling out the custom spell.
"Sorry about that, where are my manners." He says softly, before swiping his forearm across his forehead, drops of sweat splashing on the ground as he pulls his sword from the ground and sheaths it across his back in one smooth motion. His shimmering gaze settling on the new comers unerringly. "Welcome to the continant Erithal, the Drake Mountains to be precise. My Name is Alister Val'Cova."
At his calmly spoken introduction, Adelith shoke her head and rose to her full hight, a gentle light in her eyes. "Yes, Welcome to my home. My name is Adelith, The Drake Monarch." She says in a voice comply unfit for her size, the gentle lilting tone bringing a crooked smile to Alisters lips, his shoulders noticably shaking as he tries and barely succeeds in hiding his amusement.
After few moments to over come her shock, the eldest of the sisters step forward slowly, wonder brightening her already sbrilliant gaze. "Pardon the intrusion, I am Valiora and this is my sister Holy. We are from the Al'darith, and save for what you've told us. I've no idea where we are."
At her introduction, Holy cutsied herself, though being as shy as she was. Didn't make a sound as she stared unabashed at Adelith.
"Al'darith, that's the name of my home, an ancient name though. Nobody has used it near 5000 years to this day infact." Alister spoke softly, his head tilted back as he too looks up at old friend. "I've never believed in fate, but what are the odds the reason the elves vanish is because these two entered that portal? Not just a Dimensional, but a space-time acurance?" Shaking his head, he turns slowly back to the twins, his eyes settling on Valiora as he slowly approached.
Silver hair reminiscent of moonlight fell to her waist, silver specked emerald eyes hinted at a primal power at her beck and call. Her figure slim yet powerful light panther, easily able to fool those not versed in martial arts. She stood close to five and half feet, yet seemed taller do to her royal aura.
Her sister all but hidden in Valoria's shadow, near an exact match to his sister. Save for being an inch shorter, with a mellow demeanor.
Stopping a yard away, Alister bows deeply. His gaze gentle as he smiles. "You are not far from home, yet at the same time very far. These are the same lands you are from, just centuries into the future. If you would like, I am more then willing to help you find your way back. I'll do everything in my power, to send you home. Though first I may need some help reclaiming the powers I've lost."
"Wait, did you say your name is Alister Val'Cova, As in the missing heir to the crown?" Holy says with wide eyes, her love of history momentary temporarly eclipsing her shy nature. Running forward she stares up into Alisters eyes, a giggle erupting from her a moment later as she runs back to Valiora. "It's got to be him Sis, his eyes are exactly how momma described them. 'Eyes of forest green and saphire seas, Pupils rimmed with molten gold and silver.'"
"Holy, That is impossible. He just told us we are 5000 years into our future, that Alister disappeared 500 years before we were born." She says softly, her eyes shifting from her exited sister to the man in question. Who just happened to be scratching his chin as he looked up at Adelith.
"Little ones you might want to sit down for this." the great drake slowly said, and following her own words settled back into the crytal clear lake before lowering her head to a few feet from the grass. As the twins settle in the grass, Alister backs away and leans against a tree, his arms folding before him. "I was but a child during the time you speak of, Valiora. As I recall the event, The very same Alister you speak of stands before us now. Neither I or the 11 others that know of this, but Alister was 'cursed' .....for no betwer word. With what we've come to call The Transferance. He is ripped from his current place in time and set in another, taking on the form of a new born. In the time I've known him, this has happened twice."
Valiora turned slowly away from the ancient, here eyes wide as they drifted to Alister and the sword peaking I've his shoulder. 'Sword of black diamond, dark as night slashing through starlight. An unerroring might, The Dragons eye sees all that try to run or hide.'
"Sir, may I see your sword?" She asks in a barely audible whisper, her eyes never leaving the eye like design just below the blade upon the hilt.
without saying a word, he reaches up and draws the blade, not a sound could be heard as it slides free of crystalian sheath upon his back. Twirling it in his hand, he offers the pommel to her as he bows deeply, a light smile curling his lips as a touch of red colors her cheeks. After moments hesitation, Valiora steps forward and grips the hilt. A touch of shock flashing through her eyes a the raging torrent of magic circulating through the blade.
Lifting the sword, blade down, She peers through the dragons eye, her gaze settling on Alister and before her in place of the male that had handed her the sword. Valiora could see a multitude of shifting being. One second a massive black wolf, a dragon the next, through a few dozen other forms.
Her curiosity satisfied, she drops to one knee. 'it can't be faked' Her mother always said. Looking up at Alister, Valiora held the blade up to him as if offering her service. A deep sigh left him as he carefully takes the sword from her and looks down at it.
"Yes, he is me. Anyone that have heared the stories can identify me through this sword, and yet do to it being my first masterpiece, I can't give it up." He says softly before sheathing the blade before offering his hand to help her up. His grip tightens slightly for an instand as his gaze meets hers. "I no longer take followers, though if you wish to travel as companions. All the power to you."
"Right!!!" She says with a smile, her eyes shimmeribg with curiosity as the tell tale silver mist envelopes alister, only to clear away moments later to reveal his lupin form. As he curls glancing over his shoulder at Adelith.
"Fare well old friend, I'm sure you will know when this adventure of mine is done." He says softly before heading off into the forest, his path set to the far north where the pheonix race lay their nests.
