Impatient

Corrie went back.

The servers looked at her with warning in their eyes,"Be careful when you go in there today. Your Higness had gotten hurt , this time very severely. He is in a bad mood."

"How did that happen?", Corrie was surprised.

They explained it to her and how the whole day he had been in a daze.

Corrie went in and saw the already awake Axel sitting on his bed half dressed. His robes above his waist covered only half of his chest....he was sitting with his legs on top of the bed and the other hanging from the bed.

"You are late. Change this dressing",he said so coldly that it could send shivers down someone's spine.

Corrie was amazed, she snapped out of admiring Axel when she felt shivers down her spine. She moved towards him slowly and did his dressing.

While she applied the medicine, he flinched a little despite his intimidating attitude just now.

Corrie glanced at him,"You should have been more careful. People are very worried."

She said this as she did her duty.

Axel looked at her'Its because of you. You weren't here so i got distracted. All you left was an orchid.' He looked at his bedside.

Corrie looked at him and saw him looking at something, she turned.

She saw the orchid....,"I couldn't find a white rose but i saw a white orchid so i kept that one instead."

Axel recovered from his moody self,"Why white rose?"

"It symbolises chastity and purity . Its the flower i love the most.

The orchid also symbolises beauty, luxury,chastity and also strengths. I think it suits you more now that i think about it."

She looked up and smiled at him.

Axel was listening intently and looking at her , when he saw her smiling.

His eyes widened and heart beat faster. But he kept himself in control. He looked away blushing at his ears. He knew at that point that he loved her.

Corrie tilted her head and looked at the bandaged wound,"All done."

He had forgotten all about his pain.

"Okay, next time you go out inform me beforehand."

After she was dismissed, she felt he had changed a lot since the day she had first met him. But the last words struck her more...inform him?

After she went out, Axel covered his half bared chest and hold his heart. It was beating crazily.

He had fallen in love with her haha. A love at first sight...he was a person who loved with all his heart once his heart was captivated with it.

Till today, he had never found anyone who made him so good , only Corrie was the one.

He had travelled all over the kingdom even outside but never found someone who made him feel this way.

A pity he had to leave after three days to check the borders. At this thought, he became miserable. Lets pity him.
