Good News

As the Queen Mother was coming nearer, she saw that Corrie was actually retching. Axel was filled with worry. He consoled her saying its okay it will be fine dont worry...

But only the Queen Mother knew what was going on...Corrie was with child!

She guessed that both the parents didn't know. She grinned and after the retching seemed to have stopped, she pulled Corrie by her hand and took her back to her chamber followed closely by Axel who was complaining to his mother.

"Mother, let her go! She is sick!!"

They were not far from the chamber....the Queen Mother then sat Corrie and Axel down with a big smile making the both of them confused as they looked at each other.

"Let me get a good look at you two now", she beamed with joy.

"Mother, i thought you wont make things hard for Corrie since you knew. Why are you making her suffer now?"

Corrie was shocked'Wait what? The Queen mother knew?? Then what was all that? She didnt really want me? Whats going on?'

"Suffer? Yes i tested her but you are the one making her suffer and that is a good news"

'Has the Queen mother gone crazy?' both thought.

"Well, she passes excellently actually. I love her too much that i cant bear to even scold her. She is a very good lady. I knew from the moment i met you that you would be the best person for my son. Look at how much he adores you!"

"Mother, i am going to forgive you this time but what do you mean by i'm making her suffer?", Axel asked sceptically. He was deeply disturbed by how Corrie was some time ago...she was crying, he thought.

"Silly boy, i dont know how you became a King. Tsk tsk..."

That being said, three imaginary dots appeared above Corrie and Axel who was sitting before the Queen.

"You two...are going to be parents!", she smiled oh so brightly. It had been a long time since smiled that brightly!

"What?!" both of them exclaimed at the same time then looked at other as they processed the words. Then Axel hugged Corrie tightly and kissed her forehead lovingly and looked at her dotingly.

The Queen mother was also radiated a warm smile looking at them.

"Now now...no vigorous exercise for atleast 10 months. You should rest Corrie. I shall send some special foods which is good for you!"

As she said that, Corrie's burned up into a crimson red! 'She had to say that out loud!'

Axel on the other hand listened intently to his mother's advise. Corrie looked back and forth between the mother and son and was too shocked..this mother and son!!!

After a long lecture---

"My mother has not entered the kitchen since i was 3 years old. I remember her cooking really well and after what happened to my father, she never went to the kitchen to cook for me anymore. You are very lucky!", Axel reminisced.

"Then i should go help her! She will need help", Corrie got up to go but was pulled by Axel and got pinned down.

"She is my mother. She can handle anything. But you...i cant even do anything to you atleast let me stay by your side", Axel pouted.

Corrie's face turned into a beetroot,"You how can you say things like that. You have so many things in the court waiting for you. Go now"

But he laid down beside her and hugged her.
