You: What is this place?

You shout but are unable to speak, unable to breathe, and unable to see. Your face hurts, your body hurts feels like you been stung by thousands of bees. Your mouth is dry as if you were in a desert for hours. Opening your eyes is a struggle.

Agent Morgen: He's awake.

UNKNOWN VOICE: Is this really necessary? He was our ally once.

Agent Morgen: Do you think I want to do this? He was our friend. Why did he turn against us? What was so important that he had to do this?

UNKNOWN VOICE: Should we tell him?

Agent Morgen: We can't. They will terminate us if we do anything like that. We need this information.

Morgen removes the cover from your face. You are finally able to see. You inhale deeply and then open your eyes. You see two figures standing in front of you. You look up as he grabs your shirt and pulls you up.

UNKNOWN VOICE: Tell us what we want and we guarantee your safety.

You: Who are you?

The man inhales angrily and then punches you in the face. He punches you repeatedly until he gets tired. A final punch throws you onto the ground.

UNKNOWN VOICE: DO NOT PLAY GAMES WITH US, MANDEEP.

You: What? I am Mandeep.

You stand back up and try to grab the man but he is held back by the handcuffs.

Agent Morgen: Now that you know. TELL US WHERE IS IT? WHERE IS THE FUCKING MACHINE?

Mandeep: I don't know about anything. I don't know any machine. I don't know.

Agent Morgen: Alright! Enough of your bullshit. I thought you were our friend guess I was wrong. Give him a dose.

Agent Zero(You): Are you s-

Agent Morgen: Just do it. He gave us no choice.

Mandeep looks around as Morgan grabs his head and pulls his eyelid down. You pick up a syringe and inject it under his eye. He steams and tries to stop you but fails as he is held by Morgen.

Agent Morgen: Now let's go back to day 1 when you joined us.

Mandeep screams as the drug starts to take effect.

Mandeep: What the fuck did you do to me? WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO?

Morgen: It's your life vs the life of all agents from the CI-K Program. Now tell us what we want. Tell us what we want. Tell us what we want.

Mandeep: CI-K? The Agents? I remember now. I rem-

Mandeep faint under the effect of the drug.

Mandeep opens his eyes in hurry.

Agent Zero{You}: You are planning on sleeping all day today?

Agent Mandeep: No you idiot. I was thinking about my next mission. Too tired from the last mission.

Agent Zero: Will you ever take a day off? Like you know take a rest for once. or do you plan to have your funeral early?

Agent Mandeep: I am so close to 500 credits. I can finally get out of this place.

Agent Zero: How much credit you have?

Agent Mandeep: I have 490. Just one mission and I am gonna stop going on missions.

Agent Zero: That's great. What will you do after that?

Agent Mandeep: I am gonna wait for you and

Mandeep stops and looks at the dest.

Mandeep: Oh you saw the-

Zero: Hmmm No no. Tell me about who will you wait for? Me and ?

Mandeep: Oh such great weather today right.

Zero: You are talking about her again?

Mandeep: H-her? Who her? I don't know any her.

Zero: Oh you don't know. Alright, I am gonna tell her that.

Mandeep: Yea- you what?

Zero: Just joking. But just accept that you like her.

Mandeep: Uhhhhhhhh. How about no?

Zero: Alright then. So what mission are you going to next?

Mandeep: I am not sure yet.

Zero: Well then come with m-

Someone taps on your shoulder. You look at who it is and you see.

Zero: Sir.

Morgan: Zero will you step aside I got to talk to Mandeep.

Zero: Yes sir.

Mandeep: Sir, What did I did this time?

Morgan: Surprisingly nothing. Your last mission was a great success. Maybe you get a promotion to higher ranks.

Mandeep: That's great to hear. But I am leaving after my next mission.

Morgan looks surprised. He rubs his chin and looks at Mandeep.

Morgan: We got a mission that you might be interested in.

Mandeep seems hesitant. He doesn't like going on missions given by others. He is very selective about his missions. He always goes for medium risk and high reward missions.

Mandeep: Sir, I- I don't usually-

Morgan: I know and we don't force our agents to take any mission. But I read your profile and all the missions you took. So I figured you will accept this mission.

Mandeep: does the mission have a high reward?

Morgan: Yes It has the biggest reward I have seen to this day.

Mandeep looks at you and you look back at him both of you realizing which mission he is talking about. You shake your head to signal Mandeep to not take the mission.

Morgan: So would you like to hear the briefing?

Mandeep: Uh I- I...I ( Don't say yes Mandeep, Don't you fucking dare) I yes.

Morgan's face lights up and he places his hand on Mandeep's shoulder.

Morgan: I don't know. I thought you would not take this mission. I mean you haven't accepted the mission yet. But you know what it doesn't matter. Our choices have no meaning but our actions do. So go to Section 314 to hear the briefing. You can check there if anyone else wants to go on the mission.

Mandeep: Yes sir.

You: (You idiot.)

Mandeep quickly runs to quarter 314 before you can stop him.

Mandeep quickly escapes as you follow him. You are stopped by Anne as she tells you about the skills you need to work on.

Mandeep: Shit! I thought he was going to kill me. Shit, why did Morgan had to give me this mission in front of him? Now I must apologize to him.

Mandeep keeps talking to himself as he skips Section 314. He quickly comes back as he realizes that.

Mandeep: Uh maybe I should not. Yeah, let's head back.

A voice comes from inside the room. "Mandeep come inside"

Mandeep: (Goddammit)

He enters the room.

Mandeep: May I enter sir?

UNKNOWN MAN: Come in, I was waiting for you. Why were you leaving? Having second thoughts?

Mandeep: No sir. I was just thinking about the mission.

UNKNOWN MAN: About the mission. You seem quite interested in the mission. Alright then sit.

Mandeep sits on the chair. He seems a bit worried.

UNKNOWN MAN: I don't think we have talked before. Have we?

Mandeep: No sir.

UNKNOWN MAN: So let me introduce myself, my name is Fujiwara Yuudai.

Mandeep: (seems like I heard that name before)

Fuji: You heard that name before?

Mandeep: Yes it seems familiar.

Fuji: Maybe you must have heard it from another agent. Now let me give you a briefing about the mission. But before I begin let me recommend you something.

Mandeep becomes fully aware when he hears that.

Fuji: Do not take this mission. Now let me begin. You have to go to Soviet Russia for this mission.

Mandeep: ( NO NO NO NO NOT THIS MISSION, ANY MISSION JUST NOT THIS ONE )

Fuji: Your mission to meet our spy in the KGB. He will take you to The Machine. He will explain to you how to use the machine. Use the machine and report back what result it shows. Do not blow your cover. You must stay hidden at all times or you will be executed by the KGB if you blow your cover. CIA has their moles in the KGB so they may try to find your identity and blame everything on us. To complete the mission before they do. You are free to kill CIA agents if you need to but not the KGB Agents you need their trust. This will be your mission if you choose to accept it will start at 10:00 PM. So will you take this mission?

Fuji looks at Mandeep with his eyes narrowed.

Mandeep: I don-

Fuji: Also this mission is a high-priority mission and the reward for completion is 1,500 credits.

Mandeep: ( Did he said 1,500 credits? If I complete this mission I can take 4 people with me or maybe 5 if we combine everyone's credits ) I- I ... I accept this mission.

Fuji relaxes his body and sits on the chair comfortably.

Mandeep: Sir, I heard that there will be others who may go on the mission as well.

Fuji: There were many but after hearing my adive no one stay other than you.

Mandeep: ( The what? I have to go alone on this mission? I didn't plan on dying on my last mission.)
