The world feels so peaceful. You feel as you are floating in space. Then all the world around you collapses.

Mandeep: Wake up. Come on wake up. I have to talk about something.

You: What? YOU.

You punch him in the face and quickly stand up from the bed and grab Mandeep by his collars.

You: You piece of shit even after I told you don't take the mission you still took the mission. How fucking stupid are you?

Mandeep: Hey let me explain. I had my reasons.

You let his collars to listen to what Mandeep has to say.

Mandeep: I talk to Fuji, and he said that.

You: That you have to go alone on the fucking suicide mission. Why did you accept the mission? The credits are not worth shit if you die.

Mandeep: No no listen I convinced Fuji to send another agent with me.

You: And who are you taking with you?

Mandeep: I was thinking that I will take your future girlfriend Carle with me.

Mandeep: Ok I wouldn't make a bad joke again and yes I am taking you with me.

Mandeep: You didn't have the voice module?

You: Voice module?

Mandeep: Alright so you haven't purchased it. Don't worry let's get one for you.

You follow Mandeep to the store. He walks through the hallway and takes a few turns. You haven't been to this section of the base. You whisper to Mandeep.

You: Who is that girl? Never seen her before.

Mandeep: That's Iris. She is a new subject. She was cloned from my DNA. I was helping them to test some new things like we changed the gender and modified the DNA to make it easy for her to adapt to the new environment. Got 7 day VIP pass to the labs.

You: You seem a bit too interested in her.

Mandeep blushes and then hides his face for a second. He takes a breath of relief and then looks at you.

Mandeep: It's not like that. Think about it, she is the same as me. All my life I was looking for someone like me, and she is literally me.

You: But remember what they always say don't get attached to the clone.

Mandeep's expression changes from happy to sad. You see the shop in front of you.

Mandeep: Well let me get a voice module for you. Look around maybe you find something useful for our mission.

You: (It is so peaceful today. I wish every day was like this.)

You start looking around the shop. It's a neat and clean shop, and it has everything from weapons to gears to clothes.

You: What can I use to make the mission easier?

Mandeep shouts from the counter.

Mandeep: Don't choose any prototype weapon they are shit.

You: Ok.

Mandeep talk to Daniels

Mandeep: Hey Daniels! Didn't know it was your duty today.

Daniels: It's, but Anne forced me. I hate her.

Mandeep: She is a bitch. Always acting like she is the queen of the world.

Daniels: yeah right.

Daniels motions him to stop talking, but he keeps going.

Mandeep: Like why would I listen to her? Who is she to command me? She is just 1 rank above me. She is cute doesn't mean I will go easy on her.

Anne whispers into Mandeep's ear.

Anne: Are you talking about me?

Mandeep: (OH NO)

You: And he is dead. Well, let's find something good.

Mandeep slowly turns to look at Anne. She grabs his collar with one hand and whispers to him.

Anne: If I wasn't going to the mission. I would have heart-to-heart with you.

Mandeep gulps.

Her expression changes to reveal the cute side of her.

Anne: And thank you for the compliment.

Saying that she walks out of the shop. Mandeep and Daniels take a high breath of relief.

Daniels: Wow! I am impressed Mandeep. I am surprised she didn't kill you for saying that. Maybe she actually likes you.

Mandeep: Oh look there is the voice module. I want that one how much is that?

Daniels notices that he changed the topic, but he doesn't mention it.

Daniels: The new model?

Mandeep: Yeah that one.

Daniels: I heard you and him are going on the suicide mission. So it was nice knowing you.

Mandeep: I didn't plan on dying on my last mission.

Daniels: Neither did Evan, Julia and Bertolt planned on dying.

Mandeep: I told them don't go there without me. FUCKING IDIOTS.

He punches the counter in rage.

Mandeep: Just give me the voice module.

He looks in your direction.

Mandeep: DID YOU FOUND WHAT WE NEED FOR THIS MISSION?

You: YEAH I FOUND IT.

Mandeep: COME HERE THEN.

You walk to Mandeep and places all the guns on the table.

Mandeep: Alright, so I am taking AK-47 and Dargunov.

You: So I take the M16 and M24. Also, PASGT vest for both of us.

Mandeep: How much credit is all this?

Daniels: You don't have to pay. It's on the agency.

Mandeep and you high five each other.

Mandeep: Oh I forgot I have to get some more grenades.

You: Yeah I need some armor piercing rounds.

You and Mandeep start to get as much stuff as possible. The amount increase to 500 credits.

Mandeep: hey Denials you want something?

Denials: Nah man! Wait get that shotgun for me. Always wanted to buy a shotgun.

You place the stuff on the counter and get it checked. Then Mandeep picks up the box of guns and place it on the trolley. As you are about to leave you look at Daniels who looks sad.

You: Hey Denials you are alright?

He doesn't pay attention to what you said.

You: DENIALS ARE YOU OKAY?

Daniels: Oh sorry I was just thinking. I am okay don't worry.

As you return you see people standing talking to each other. Some of them walks toward you.

The group: Hey we heard that you accepted the mission. So-

Mandeep: HEY EVERYONE I GOT AN ANNOUNCEMENT. I GOT PERMISSION TO THROW A PARTY. SO LET'S CELEBRATE.

The crowd grows crazy this was the first time everyone were not depressed after someone taking the suicide mission.

People start to bring drinks and music is played. Everyone starts dancing even the seniors join the party. This is the first time everyone was happy in the agency. Drinks and foods started to be server. Some people were dancing, some were eating and some were just sitting and relaxing.

You talk to Mandeep.

You: How did you got permission for this?

Mandeep: Well

Fuji: So it's your choice to accept the mission or not.

Mandeep: I accept the mission, sir. But sir can I have permission to celebrate?

Fuji: Celebrate? You just accepted the suicide mission, and you want to celebrate? You kid surprise me. But I am happy that you are so optimistic. Yes you have permission to celebrate.

You: Fuji is the best.

Mandeep: He is.

You see Carle walking toward you.

Carle: Hey do you want to dance with me?

You look at Mandeep he nods in approval. You join her and start tot dance with her.

Mandeep is sitting at the corner chilling when he sees Anne. He quickly hides his face and pretend to be sleeping. Anne passes right by him.

Mandeep: is she gone? *Mutters to himself*

Anne: Who is gone?

Mandeep: (OH NO)

Anne: Let's dance come on Mandeep.

Mandeep: I am not the dancing type.

Anne: I am not asking.

Anne pulls Mandeep to Dance with her.
