Maya...

The lady looked inside the throat of the boy and sighed a bit sadly. "Alright little king. You are free to go. You are doing very well." She smiled joyfully looking at the boy.

Joya smiled back happily thinking he was improving and he ran away in much haste once again towards Khufu, who was now sitting with his other brothers having an important discussion in his court room.

"What happened Maya? You do not look very happy this time also." Delilah sighed looking at the lady's sad eyes. Even though she had maintained a wide smile on her face to not let the little boy feel sad, her eyes were sad which Delilah had already read.

"Actually your highness, there is not any improvement in junior king's throat. I do not see the reason though. I feel he does not have the motivation to speak now." The lady sighed feeling extremely miserable.

Delilah looked at the lady in puzzlement. "Huh? Motivation to speak? What do you mean Maya?" she frowned hard looking at the lady dressed in a blue robe, in much anxiousness in her eyes.

"I do not see any physical problem in him. His vocal cords have developed fine from past one year, but looks like he does not want to speak now. Even during his training sessions he does not speak a bit. As if.... as if... he lacks the motivation now and does not want to come out of his comfort zone." The lady sighed feeling extremely disheartened.

Delilah too sighed not knowing what to say anything further. "It has been one year already since he is getting trained. How is it possible that he never got any motivation to speak? What is this boy waiting for? What motivation does he need?" Delilah sighed looking at the lady. "You are the best practitioner in all the lands Maya. Can you not do something? Give him some medicine or any herb?"

"I cannot. Because, now he does not have any trouble. He has taken all the medicines which have been given by old monk. I do not see any problem in him now, which is to be treated." The lady sighed in helplessness. I had a word with old monk about it and he said give him some time. Only the right person can make him speak at the right time." She shrugged her shoulders and sighed.

"Ok if old monk says then we just wait for the right person. At least we have a hope that he will speak one day." The lady smiled looking at Maya trying to be a little optimistic.

Delilah truly trusted Mayas words and skills. Maya was the lady who was closest to Delilah after Orfea, who died several years back. Delilah was not just her best friend, but she was also one of the main disciples of old monk, trained in medicine. She had been living in the monastery ever since she was born. Her single mother died after giving her birth and the baby was left all alone on the streets. She was found by a monk and was brought to the monastery to the old monk. Old monk not just adopted her but also trained her to be the best practitioner in the entire lands.
