The confusion...

Present day...

Evlin blinked a number of times as several images persistently appeared before him. It appeared to him as if numerous metaphors were materializing before him, and boy could unmistakably hear them talking in an ancient language. For several more minutes he was simply absorbed on the flashback, while still holding Sarah in his arms. Sarah was looking at the boy in much perplexity as he looked like he had gone astray in some sort of trance. She was calling out to him several times, but he was not responding to her and was relentlessly looking at her, now without even blinking his eye lids.

"Boss? Are you alright." Sarah repeated her question looking at the boy with concerned eyes.

Evlin did not reply, and had still bent a little, while the girl was balanced in his strong arms hanging in the air.

"Boss?" the girl this time shrugged the boy briskly, several times and then pinched him on his arms. The pain broke the boy's concentration and he blinked several times looking at the girl in mystification.

"Huh? Norah?" the boy frowned straightening himself up, making the girl stand up as well.

"I am sorry boss? Who is Norah?" Sarah frowned looking at the boy who was still thinking about something very carefully.

Evlin frowned and looked at the girl in much surprise. Several thoughts were echoing in his head as he looked in the girl's gray eyes. What exactly happened to me? How could I see a dream without even sleeping? And who was the beautiful girl I saw in the dream? She looked a little like Sarah especially those gray eyes. "Umm... I ... I think I need to go take bath. This cream is making me crazy." He frowned hard looking at he his cream smudged hands and nodded his head in disapproval, as the golden pen in his pocket was also a little smudged with cream. He quickly took out his precious pen which was given to him by Sarah and placed it on the table. "I am going for a bath. In the meanwhile the staff can show you the library. I shall join you in a few minutes.

The boy smiled looking at the overwrought girl, who was still looking at him speechlessly. Sarah nodded her head and saw the boy's preceding figure who was now rushing towards his room upstairs, still thinking very carefully about what he just saw.

Sarah then too turned to enter the kitchen area and walked towards one of the staff people. "Hello, could you please take me to the library?"

"Sure miss. "The elderly lady spoke in excitement. Sarah was probably the first girl she had seen, who would be using the house's library instead of the guest bedroom. This girl was really poles apart from other girls in all matters and the lady could not help but admire her even more.

Soon they walked out of the kitchen and sprinting towards a lavish flower garden, which was well lit by the floor lights. Just besides the garden was a striking pond, which had a vast glass bridge on top of it to cross. Sarah gasped at the exquisiteness of the place and hesitated a bit while placing her foot on the glass bridge floor, which was clearly showing the deep pond below it.

"Don't worry miss. Nothing will happen." The lady staff member smiled, as she was already climbing the arch shaped glass bridge without any fright.
