CH.291: New city.

( Yuuki's POV )

Crossing into the new world, I saw a normal place, but with nature dominating most of the terrain, this was normal for me, so I focused more on Cecilia and Charlotte's reaction.

Cecilia: Are we really in another world?

Yuuki: It doesn't seem like it, right? This place is not very different from your world except that we are in the past and the place is full of zombies.

Charlotte: That sounds like we're in a movie.

Yuuki: IS is also something that seems like something out of a movie.

Charlotte: I guess so, but I was expecting something more fantasy-like.

Yuuki: Just wait a bit.

We took a flying ship with the new IS units and landed on the castle built at the highest point of the city, there was a strange construction in front of the place but from here I couldn't see it well, when I landed I found Kuno smiling at me but she was carrying some papers that were surely more work for me.

Kuno: Hi Yuuki, how was school?

Yuuki: Very good, things feel like a vacation.

Kuno: Excellent, because there is some work that needs your attention.

Yuuki: amazing, where are the others?

Kuno: Miu and Saeko are on a journey to establish connections with other stations, but that has not gone well, the others are outside collecting building materials, but that's part of the problem.

Yuuki: What do you mean?

Kuno: Well, we need those materials to rebuild the city and build new houses for the inhabitants, but every time we go out for them, we find more kabanes, we bring them for treatment, but those are more citizens who will need more buildings and food, in short, we are growing too fast.

When Kuno gave me the report on the development of the city, I immediately got to work and I followed Kuno who took me to the crop fields, I could use my powers to grow fields and trees to solve our problems but when we left the castle I saw that the strange construction was a statue of me in my dragon form, half life-size.

Cecilia: That's an interesting statue.

Kuno: That was the idea of one of our maids, Sakuya, so that the citizens always feel protected.

Charlotte: Is that some kind of deity?

Kuno: It's a statue of Yuuki, although you're not completely wrong about that.

We kept walking and the people in the city bowed when we passed, just like when we were in our kingdom.

Solving the problems of food and lack of wood for construction, Miu and Saeko returned to the city and they told me about the results of their trip, and that was not good news but that did not affect us much, after that the group collecting materials returned and as Kuno said they brought a cage full of kabanes, that's when Cecilia and Charlotte saw the danger of this world, they were treated immediately and when we were done with that we went back to the castle and had some free time and I was with Cecilia and Charlotte.

Yuuki: I'm sorry I've been busy since we arrived.

Cecilia: Don't worry, I already knew this trip was about work, and seeing you work seriously isn't bad either.

Yuuki: Thank you, I think, I promise we will enjoy our time before returning to school.

We moved to a room with a Gate and waited for the rest of my Sekirei, we were going to have some sort of ceremony where this city was going to be officially founded as an extension of Babylon, and all the queens had to be present for that.

Charlotte: I'm getting a little nervous.

Saeko: You guys already had to deal with Tsukiumi, things don't get much more difficult than that.

Tsukiumi: What are you implying there?

Saeko: My, nothing, just trying to calm down our future sisters.

I had already told the two girls from the academy about our family, but when they started to come out of the portal all together it was shocking, but they would get used to it.

We spent the rest of the day talking and making preparations for the next day's celebration, this was a festival that started early, where citizens enjoyed good food and games and had the opportunity to meet the entire royal family.

I also enjoyed the festival with the girls, who formed groups to spend time with me in turns so I had no rest all day, Later when the festival was coming to an end we went up to a platform in front of the castle that had wooden thrones for all my Sekireis and I, there were also seats for the ones I hadn't officially marked yet but had already been decided by my other Sekireis who would be part of the family.

With all the citizens watching us in anticipation I walked to the edge of the platform and jumped, When I was in the air I transformed into my dragon form, and the place was filled with gasps of astonishment, I created a huge sphere of energy that I shot into the sky, and that turned into a big fireworks show.

Afterward, I gave a short speech and gave this city a new name, Hekiga.

That marked the end of the festival, and I went to the room that was made for me, before going to sleep, I started thinking about designs for new IS units for Cecilia and Charlotte, I've been thinking about it for a while, so I finished quickly and sent the designs to Rosetta.

After finishing that, I got ready to sleep but at that moment, I heard footsteps outside my room.
