Chapter 62: Just Another Lunch break

It was another day in WordBagon Academy, Arthur, Dorothy, Saya, Carla and Anna are having their lunches at the rooftop. It was like their own natural habitat, a place where they could be at ease, especially for Saya who can recharge her own power by simply taking in sunlight.

Anna: Papa, Mama I got two golden stars today!!

Arthur: For standing up?

Frustrated, she punched Arthur hard on the head and simply continued showing off her award at the rest of them while Arthur was covering his head, she flailed her arms out of excitement as she said,

"Teacher gave me this for answering the question correctly... and this one here is for helping in cleaning the room after recess."

She was super happy about her reward, her face was smiling, her eyes were shining, It was the first time she's ever acted like this.

Dorothy swallowed her food and gave her a pat on the head, and ruffled her hair saying,

"That's my girl, I'm sure you'll do great at school."

Loving the head pat and the ruffling of her hair she was enjoying it, while Carla was too busy drinking the cold water she bought from the canteen and couldn't eat a piece of her lunch, Once she noticed the bottle was empty she threw it at the garbage can and said,

Carla: Perfect shot---! so hot.

Arthur: Then why did you finish up all the water before eating your lunch then

Carla: Because my King, It's so hot here that my lusts for eating would get demolished by my quenched for thirsts.

Arthur: It sounds very weird on how you say it like that.

Anna: Mama, what is she talking about?

Dorothy: You don't need to hear those, just continue on eating your lunch Anna, say Ahhh

Right after feeding Anna, Saya noticed someone heading towards them but she knows it's not a threat so decides not to do anything about it, not even at least tell them about the incoming.

Saya: Are you sure you're not going to eat your lunch Carla?

Carla: Why do you ask? Wait! what time is it?

Arthur: It's twelve forty-five.

Carla: Crap!! It's almost time!! *munch* *munch* *munch*

Chowing down on her lunch hoping to make it in time, Two girls from the arm committee enter the rooftop, both of them was wearing the school uniform, with the Armed committee's badge right next to the school logo one of them says,

"Everyone may I humbly request for all of you to get back to your classrooms before the bell would ring, please."

Upon hearing the girl's voice Carla froze up from her eating her buffet and was sweating completely the girl had short blondish hair, and was wearing glasses and her eye color is something between blue and purple, Carla seems to know the girl just from hearing her voice, while the other girl next to her had long straight reddish hair, her eye color was something between blue and red.

Arthur: Oh we're just about to right now.

Saya notices their badges but can't seem to hide her curiosity, with one eye closed and the other fixated on them she asked,

"You two are from the Armed Committee am I correct?."

Faith: Yes, I'm Faith and this here is Olivia nice to meet both of you.

Olivia: Nice to meet you.

Saya: Same here.

Faith notices a somewhat familiar person although she couldn't tell for sure because she was facing behind her,

Faith: Excuse me? have we met before?

Carla: *Different voice* Umm Noo I'm afraid we haven't

Faith: Is that so?

Curiosity was killing her since she was sure that she's met her from somewhere, once she saw a good look at Carla's face, she immediately pointed her finger towards her and said,

"Ohhh! it's you!."

Everyone was shock to know one of the Armed Committee knew about Carla,

Arthur: You know her Carla?

Carla: Yess.. It was a funny story, they picked a fight with me and I----!

Faith was pulling her ear as it was obvious Carla was telling another story as she said,

"Funny, that's not how I remembered it."

Carla: Awh Awh Awh alright Alright I'll tell it just let go of my ear, you're gonna tear it off you crazy woman.

She let go of Carla's ear, she lets out a sigh and says,

"It was my first day here and I didn't know where to go, and she bumped into me."

*Flashback*

This happened before Carla and Saya were announced as transfer students to Arthur and Dorothy's class (Specifically right before Chapter 13) She was looking around the billboard as Faith walks towards her and asks,

"Excuse me, are you lost?"

She was merely doing her job as an Armed committee (They do things like patrol the school grounds on their free time, make sure to let students who skip classes go back to their rooms, water the grasses, help maintain order in school, and help anyone they could find having trouble in the campus, outside the campus too if it get's that far as long as they have their personal weapons with them, thus the name "Armed Committee")

Carla: Must be nice..

Faith: E-Excuse me?

Carla: You have big busters... must be nice huh

Embarrassed from what she just said she pulled her ear and said,

"You should not say something that loud in public, what the hell are you doing!?."

Carla: Alright! Alright I won't say it again now please let go of my ear woman.

She lets out a sigh and lets go of the now swollen ear,

Carla: Geez what would happen if my King saw me at this very moment, I might end my life if that were to happen.

Faith: My king?

Carla: Oh yeah! that reminds me do you know where the room L1 is? I was so busy looking at the billboard that I completely forgot where the room was.

Faith: I see, you're a transfer student just go the left at the corner and you'll see the section sign right at the top of the door, you won't miss it.

Carla: Thanks!

Carla completely heads towards what Faith told her to go and she bumps into a shyful girl and says,

"Oh I'm sorry."

Saya: N-No I'm sorry.

The two then enter the left corner and what then leads to the event from Chapt. 13.

*End of Flashback*

"And that's how I met her, by the way the name's Carla thank you for what you did back there and nice to meet you."

She lended out her hand to her as she shook it and said,

Faith: Just doing my job, the name's Faith nice to meet you two.

Just as they got to know each others names the school bell rang meaning lunch break is over and Olivia checks her watch and says,

"Oh.. It's already time."

Faith: There's no need to tell us since we could clearly hear the bell... Eherm.. anyways better get back to your classes right away.

Arthur: Alright, we will

Faith and Olivia leave the roof and proceeded to go back down while Arthur and the rest were cleaning up their spot Carla was eating her lunch as fast as she can while they were still cleaning up, Meanwhile Faith and Olivia were having a conversation as they left..

Olivia: Hey Faith, have you eaten your lunch yet?

Faith: EEEKKK!!

Olivia: You see I already ate a melon bread while our patrol so I no longer need to lunch but what about you?

Faith: Ummm I-I-I already had my lunch hehe [CRAP! I WAS SO EXCITED TO GO ON A PATROL I FORGOT TO EAT MY LUNCHH I'M GONNA DIE IN CLASS TODAYY]

Carla proudly raises her empty lunchbox in the sky and yells,

"I hwavee conqwuerr mahh fearss and ate mwy wunch Mwuhahahahha *coughs* *coughs*."

Arthur: You shouldn't talk with your mouth full Carla

after hearing what Arthur said she quickly chews and swallows her food, she bends in a sad look and says,

"Yes my king."

Arthur: Alright you and Saya head for class..

Carla: Huh? Where are you going my king?

Arthur: I'm going to send off Anna to her room with Dorothy, don't worry it won't be long.

Dorothy: Arthur, hurry up or Anna will be late.

Arthur: Coming!

Carla: My king both of you better hurry since it's already time and all

Arthur: Don't worry we'll be quick, don't wait for us alriight

As Arthur and Dorothy left, Saya and Carla were the only ones at the rooftop yet to go down, as the two stared upon each other and simultaneously sighs saying,

"Why can't they just invite us to go with them."
